They are the slowest growing plants I’ve ever had (apart from prayer plant)

He had been thriving for several years (in this same location and time of year so its not sunlight or temp related) but now he is losing leaves left and right. He is watered appropriately according to my plant care app (non ai) and his soil was changed recently. He is always droopy now and yellowing. The picture didn’t quite capture the discoloration but oh well

I just bought this large monstera today for only $10. The only problem is that it has such a long bare stem and it literally growing horizontally. I had to tie it to the wooden beam to keep it off the floor.

I really want to give it a "reset", so what I'm wondering is if I cut it down to a few inches of stem and give it proper climbing support, will it grow new better leaves? Or would I just be killing it?

I planted some chilli seeds and everything was going great (about 4 months), until about a week ago when it started losing a lot of leaves.

Every morning, my floor looks like this, and the leaves themselves actually look pretty healthy. the soil is not too dry or too wet, and the plant has even started growing some chilli flowers.

I have given it some fertilizer 2 week ish ago with all my other plants

Could it be the weather? I’m living in Denmark, and the temperature has dropped to around 18–19°C lately.

Yes I did break the sheath I was confused and wanted to confirm it was a flower 😭

Is it normal to bust out with a flower rather than leaves right after planting? The first leaf hasn't even unfurled yet 🫩

A praying mantis has taken residency on my spider plant. Every morning/afternoon/night I go and see where it is living at the moment. It has been here daily for about a month! It showed up after a caterpillar murdered my OG spider plant :( I believe it is guarding OGs offspring 😂

I’ve had a fungus gnat issue in all my plants ever since I replaced all their soil in May. I’ve been watering with mosquito bits every 1-2 weeks, using yellow stickies and blue light wall stickies for the past 3.5 months and I’m still having the issue! It may have gotten slightly better but not good enough. A couple of my plants are doing better but overall, I’m completely frustrated. My birds of paradise and large monstera seem to have the most activity. Does anyone have any recommendations? Is it time to replace all the soil?

For some additional context, I’ve had my monstera and birds of paradise for years and never had this issue until this past May.

It's my first time taking care of a fig. For further specifications, it's the Brazilian XP variety. It currently resides on my open walkway (visible in the image). I live in Penang Island, Malaysia in an apartment. Please share some tips on how to take care of it and is my environment for it good enough? So this pencil cactus was not doing well at all a few months ago. I’ve always lived in apartments and gotten terrible light, and grow lights don’t seem to be anywhere close to sufficient for it. It looked really rough, so I put it in this hanging pot and hung it off the balcony above me to see if I could revive it. A few months later and it has EXPLODED with growth and I couldn’t be happier! That being said, I know these typically are not hangers, and typically don’t grow like this. How should I go about handling this (not so) little guy? Just leave it as is? It obviously seems very happy, even putting out brand new shoots in the center, which should grow upright from what I can tell. It’s in proper soil and tbh I don’t even water it myself as it gets watered whenever it rains. Thank you in advance!
