Second shiny legendary let’s goooo!! Got the twin EON legendaries in shiny form. The Eon legendaries Latias and Latios. So hyped to have these two.

I just wanna say I love this game bc I’m an older man and it gives me something fun to do when I walk. This community of people is very nice

I get it. Some people don't already have all these mega. But, only a couple are new and most of us have tons of the others. I'll use free passes on the new but don't feel the urge to go grind out a bunch of raids. No way I'll complete that 100 level Mega Finale research. Oh well.

Why am I receiving the banner showing I’ve caught x/75 on the pass task, which is one of the monthly pass tasks, when I’ve already completed August’s Pass? I’ve already completed the World’s Cup Pass, too, so I know it isn’t connected to that one either.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Edit to say, this isn’t the only task that it shows, such as x/# of good throws, hearts with buddy, etc.

I’m a new player ( downloaded the game about 3 days ago) and I have no idea which of them is better and why.

I’ve played all kinds of Pokemon games in the past so I know Pokemon on general but I just learned about iv and had my first fights against a Team Rocket leader (lost them all) but I got to know the fighting system.

I can’t decide which one I should power up and evolve because the skills and IV differs.
Do I take 1 because of Ember and the perfect attack IV? Or 2 because the IV are more balanced ?

Also it's just after midnight and its showing 2 daily tasks already completed even though I havn't played yet today, additionally after the first screen shot when I catch a mon I get a notification to say 2 tasks have been updated but no tasks showing anywhere in the tasks section, any ideas if this is a bug?

With the addition of mega moves, specifically for mega mewtwo Y (and X i guess), what is the best second move to have for mega mewtwo? Any secondary typing move I should ETM onto my MMY?(and MMX)

Hey y’all I’m not too familiar with Reddit quite frankly and I’m not sure what sub Reddit to go to with this. I haven’t seen much anyway online about this either.

I don’t have the auto explorer gadget on my pokemon go anywhere, no in my inventory or main screen. My wife has the exact same phone as me and we’re both on the same iOS updates and up to date on the game as well. And all my friends have the gadget so no one’s sure why I don’t have it.

I’m level 49 so I’m above the level minimum to get the gadget. And I just really cannot figure out why I don’t have it available to me. Is anyone else experiencing this? And does anyone know what may be wrong or how I can go about finally getting the gadget?

I’m a full time worker and dad so I don’t get a lot of chances to pull up the game and play so it would just be nice to have something to collect things in the background while I’m at work is the only reason I really care.

I caught him a while back as I was getting back into pokemon go, I know shinies are rare, and even more so the starters, but I know this one was from an event. Did the event have boosted shiny rates?

My 6-year-old has recently started getting really into Pokémon, which has honestly been pretty fun. He likes looking through my Pokémon, catching things, asking me which ones are good, and generally just being excited about the game.

So the other day, I handed him my phone and let him play Pokémon Go for a bit.

That was my first mistake.

A little while later, I discovered that my 6-year-old had apparently decided that a wild Rattata was an encounter worthy of the highest honor possible.

He used my Master Ball on a Rattata.

Not a Galarian bird. Not some rare Pokémon I was terrified would run. Not even something cool.

A Rattata.

I was devastated, but hey... he's six. He saw the coolest-looking Poké Ball and obviously thought, "Yeah, this rat deserves it."

So I laughed it off.

Then I kept looking.

That's when I discovered what he had done to my 4-star Shadow Lugia.

He purified it.

My perfect Shadow Lugia.

Gone.

At that point I just stared at my phone for a minute.

I didn't get mad at him. I didn't even say anything negative to him because, realistically, this is 100% on me. He's six years old. He doesn't understand IVs, shadows, Master Balls, rarity, or why his dad suddenly looks like he's just received terrible financial news.

To him, he caught a Pokémon with the coolest ball and then helped Lugia by making the scary purple smoke go away.

He probably thought he was absolutely crushing it.

And honestly, I'm glad he's getting into Pokémon. I want him to enjoy it, and the last thing I want to do is make him feel bad or scared to play because Dad got upset over some pixels on a screen.

But man...

Anyway, my son is no longer allowed unsupervised access to Pokémon Go until he can explain to me what IVs are and provide a written justification for using a Master Ball.

I’m currently broke on etms, and I chose the fenniken path for the free mega, when I realized I had a 98% braixen in storage. Ive heard conflicting opinions on whether kalos starters get legacy moves and wanted to see what other people’s experiences with the legacy moves were.

Despite the deluxe pass allegedly making the odds greater, I’ve so far got both of these but no shiny fenekin. I feel like Scopely should be publishing the odds boost especially if people are paying $15 for it. I definitely haven’t caught enough fenekin to say what the odds might be but over 64 trials, I can say with 95% confidence the odds are greater than 1/20. Will continue to keep track to try and narrow down what kind of boost we got, although likely it was just to 1/256

While the current Mega- Finale pass hast some great value it currently sits at 16,50€. That amount is equal to 20$.

Now my complaint: Why does it only cost 15$ in America? Its 5$ cheaper compared to Europe, Germany.

Genuinely, did they mess up the conversion rate or are they messing with europeans...
