Almost like they know nothing will happen to them and the elections will just happen even if no ballots get sent out. Nothing like this admin has happened before and our democracy is being tested

This midterm election is going to be a pass/fail exam of our republic. If Trump and his Republicans get their way then it will be a fail and our republic will no longer exist. This is it citizens! What kind of country do you want going forward: a democratic republic or a dictatorship/oligarchy? Pick one.

I already know which one. Americans have shown time and time again we want things to be easy and aren’t willing to do what needs to be done, which at the moment is far more than just voting. We’re cooked. I’m not a doomer by any means. Get out and vote while you still fucking can, but it’s going to take a lot more and I don’t see people jumping to defend anything with action if it takes more than a few steps. I have hope for humanity…I just don’t see Americans doing what needs to be done beyond voting. We couldn’t even do that… The people currently in charge are going to cheat. They’ve already cheated and we didn’t do much of anything.

We are all guilty of that, yes. I could very likely be doing more. Notice I use a collective “we”. I work for a non for profit. I’ve helped in planning and attending protests all over my state. My state has single handedly chased Vance out. I also help by creating art and signs for protests. I participated in various resistance groups during college. I have helped all of my trans friends to plan a way out if they are in trouble and volunteered to transport them if need be. What else do you think I should be doing as an individual? What do you think we should all be doing together?

Let’s workshop this. I’m totally open to that and willing to do my part.
