The statistics can vary depending on exactly how you count them (for instance, counting unlawful/unofficial deportations, or using only ICE numbers vs combining ICE and border patrol, etc), but below are the best estimates.

OBAMA administration (2009-2017):

Approximate total: 3.3 million deportations
Term: 8 years
Average: 413k per year
Peak year: 438k in 2013
Other: Roughly 1% of the US population was deported under Obama

CURRENT administration (2017-2021; 2025-):

Approximate total: 1.7 million to 2.2 million depending on source/method
Term: 5.67 years
Average: 300k-388k per year
Peak year: 350k in 2026 (ongoing; on pace to surpass Obama's 2013)
Other: This administration also likes to take credit for "self-deportations" (people leaving of their own accord). These are not included in official figures.
