I finally seeked help for my lifelong depression issues. And i got some meds, a therapist and a few weeks of paid leave from work.

Now i am at home, and stuck on every small thing, ive been paralysed on my couch for 4h now.

I could cook and i could clean, i could smoke a joint or i could work out, i could tackle my laundry or watch netflix, i could puzzle or i could sort my wardrobe, i could sew or craft smth or i could take a bath or ....... literally anything.

With all the pressure of efficiency and resposibility taken away, i realised i dont know how to decided anything.

Please just tell me anything that i should do?

I’m renovating my patio and I’ve narrowed it down to these two porcelain pavers, but I keep going back and forth.

I like the longer 24x48 because it has a cleaner, more modern look. The 24x24 feels a little warmer to me and will work better because I want the patio to have more of a traditional feel.

So, I’m trying to figure out which one will look better.

If you had to pick one, which would you choose?

Pros: Environmentally friendly, I have the skills and tools, trying to save money because I have a low income from a full time job, minor damage
Cons: Each towel is like less than 10 dollars (I earn 27 per hour), time wasted when I could be studying/job hunting for a better job

I am going to Hawaii for vacation soon and want to order a new shirt for the trip. I’ve found a few that I really like, but I honestly can’t decide which one would look best.

I’m looking for something casual, comfortable, and easy to wear during the trip.

I’m a fan of a band, and one of the members is a guy who is pretty comfortable being shirtless and appears shirtless fairly often

I recently found a picture of him without a shirt that I really liked and thought would look great as my lock screen, so I wanted to use it

The problem is that I’m gay and I still have a complicated relationship with my mom regarding my sexuality, and I know she will probably eventually see the picture and interpret it as something about me liking men and make an argument with me

She has already made comments and given me a hard time over things that are much less obviously related to my sexuality, even though they were ultimately pretty harmless and insignificant

Part of me wants to keep the picture because I genuinely like it and I don’t want my decisions to constantly revolve around what my mom will or won’t accept about me

At the same time, I know seeing the picture on my phone while I’m around her might make me anxious because I’ll be thinking about whether she notices it and what she might say

And to be clear, this isn’t some sexual picture of the guy or anything remotely inappropriate, he’s literally just shirtless and looks good

So I’m conflicted because I can’t tell whether changing the picture would simply be me choosing something that makes me more comfortable, or whether I’d just be censoring myself because I’m afraid of my mom’s reaction :(
