Just curious....might wanna own one someday

Because if they had four they’d be chicken sedans

I had two geese. Toulouse.
About a year old.
About two months ago my male couldn’t walk and would just fall over. He ended up passing like two days after that.
Then I was left with my female.
Yesterday she couldn’t walk and would just fall. So I separated her and put some food/water next to her overnight. She ended up passing last night.
Does anyone know what this could be? It only occurred in my geese and two months apart from each other.

These seem to only infest nests in which birds have raised multiple broods without the nest being cleaned in between. They live in the bedding and come out at night to suck the blood of the chicks/ducklings and kill them. I've had a problem with these twice, in two different US states, first time with chicks, second time with ducks. I've solved the problem by moving the chicks/ducklings into a different coop. I'm cleaning out the main duck house now, but I'd like to identify the creature so I can find out more about life cycle, prevention, etc.

this is my 16 week old lavender orpington bluebell and she had what we think was cocci. she was sleeping a lot, not eating hardly anything, and just very ill. we isolated her and treated her for cocci but she hasn’t been the same since. we have tried nutri-drench, poultry cell, probiotics, isolation, checking her crop, and giving her vitamins and just trying anything to get her healthy again but she refuses to eat anything other than just pecking around the grass. she is very skinny and weighs practically nothing, she is way smaller than my other lavender orpington, and none of the other chickens have had any symptoms of any illnesses and i have no idea what to do. please help!

What do you think she is?

We have 4 chicks, 2 months old now, which we keep in a separate coop until they've grown enough so we don't have to worry about putting them with the rest of our flock. This morning we noticed that one of them was just standing in one spot instead of just jumping against the door like they all do every morning. We had to move her outside by hand to the feed troth, after which she quite eagerly started eating. I spent about an hour just watching her, and the only movement she managed was just turning around and even that was a real struggle for her.

I checked her and didn't find anything obviously wrong, her legs move normally, she doesn't react like she is in pain when I move her, but she doesn't walk around and just stays in one spot either sitting on her ass and/or holding herself up with her wings.

And I mean sitting on her ass, not how chickens usually sit where you can't see their legs.

Any advice? I am getting real worried.
