I shared before a smaller photo, this is a garden I designed about 4 or 5 years ago and is looking super lush the way I wanted. Plants grow super big in Medellin so it's not really because of me, here is super easy to have this kind of garden, in fact is all over the city.

If it don't work I try again till it does.

What's your favorite thing you look forward to from your garden each year? I live for these 3-4 months every year when tomatoes taste like tomatoes. BLTs just aren't the same without heirloom tomatoes and homemade basil mayo.

Today was my first big harvest from my first garden and I’m sooooo in love 😭😭😭 I just have 2 4x6 raised beds in my city front “yard” patch and planted them extremely dense so it’s hard to see in there… I noticed a couple tomatoes at the edges and kept digging and found so many!!! Extremely delicious. Eggplant and zucchini have been ready one by one for a month or so but the burst of tomatoes is pretty thrilling. So fun to learn by just trying stuff! It warms my heart to see the bees and bugs enjoying the plants too because the rest of my block is pretty barren. Just wanted to share! 🍅🌱❤️‍🔥 zone 7b

Edit to add— I always pick my tomatoes when they first start to blush. This guy has been ripening on my counter for the last few days. The squirrels have just been grabbing my still green ones! I have some chicken wire around a few of them still on the vine, hopefully that helps keep them away!

My kids favourite food in the world is corn, so we planted our own this year. They were so sweet and delicious!

I started rooftop container gardening in plastic pots a year ago, and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with this hobby! I feel so much peace and joy watching new life grow right before my eyes 💕

Turns out "earthy flavor" means it tastes like literal dirt, incredibly sweet dirt. The tops were pretty bitter too but that could just be my cooking skills....

Anyone know if this is a good harvest at least? I've never ever eaten a market beet, I just nabbed a pack of free seeds at the local library

Just some flowers I found interesting

My first time growing carrots from a seed and I’m feeling accomplished this summer!

We started a small garden this year with a few berry bushes and three milkweed plants. We were starting to get discouraged because the milkweed hadn’t attracted any caterpillars. Lo and behold, we have 10 between our three plants! This is way cooler than the 11 raspberries we got :)

Planted 2 spike speedwell, 3 asiatic lilies, 3 liriope
and 4 hostas. Excited to watch them grow! Any suggestions on taking care of them?

Edit to add: I’m in zone 6b. I plan on adding river rock and mulch but haven’t gotten to that just yet.. Open to ideas on what else to add :)

First try of propagation by Seed.

A few weeks ago I noticed a watermelon growing from the pavement right next to my front garden, I live in London, UK and I never knew watermelons could grow here. I would like to eventually harvest it but I’m not sure when or how too.

2 out of many, I think they could have been picked a few days earlier but very sweet and delicious
