Creangă: a Romanian learning app and website for English speakers
Hello all,
I'm of Romanian descent and built Creangă to help me learn the language. It grew from there as I wanted my family and friends to be able to use it as well.
What's in it:
- Vocabulary with spaced repetition, 61 levels
- 50 grammar lessons written for English speakers
- Pronunciation audio
- Romanian stories by Creangă, Ispirescu, Gârleanu and others, where you can tap any word for both a contextual and a more literal translation
Some more information about Creangă:
You can browse all 5,500+ vocabulary entries without signing up. A free account adds the first vocabulary level for SRS review, three grammar lessons, and one full story. Everything beyond that needs a premium subscription.
Website: https://creanga.dacialearning.com
Apple App Store: Creangă (App Store link) or search "Creangă" or "Creanga" (iOS only for now)
Please have a look and let me know what you think. I'm continuing to expand the features and content, and if anything in the Romanian looks wrong to a native speaker, I'd especially like to hear it. Happy to answer any questions.
