So I've been wanting to do an extensive analysis on all the Drag Race reigns since I love numbers and comparisons, and I have never seen that pov been analyzed in here.
I did some work calculating all the lengths based on time of the crowning episode (which sometimes is not the last of the season) and then went into design and comparisons so the results look nice. Hope you enjoy this small analysis! The top 5 longest and shortest ones are at the end and honestly think the results are indeed wild (title is not clickbait I swear!)

- All of the dates were manually put by me and I live in a country where we use DD/MM/YYYY so apologies if any of them are wrong trying to adapt them.
- All calculations were manually done by me checking the date of crowning on either Wikipedia or the Drag Race Wiki and using a web app that calculates the amount of days between 2 dates.
- Graphs were also made by me on Canva and grabbing (hopefully) good pictures from every winner either from Google or their Insta accounts.

First of all - HERSTORY
In the first seasons we had here and there a song-challenge where queens had to write a verse for a RuPaul song...
For example.. on Season 1 we had Bebe singing
"Face, face, face, I give face
Beauty face, you can't take? It's ok
Watch my body go insane"

On Season 5 we had "Can I get an amen?"

But I still remember that All Stars 2 and RPDR Season 9 were the first seasons to have their last maxi challenge to be a "write a verse"-challenge. The girls could just tour performing their songs and be fierce.

Then the UK seasons came along and the girl group challenges brought a new height to these songs. People were genuinely listening to these songs on their favorite music app.

And then BAM! We had too many seasons, to many franchises and too many songs to hear.

Then my question comes now.

QUESTION
Are there any songs from any franchise of Drag Race of the past 3 years that listened to and you thought... "Gurl, I want to listen to this again and again and again"?

My answer: I think the last year I saved Drag Race maxi challenge songs to my playlist was the year of "I'm in love..." (All Stars 5)

Cases:

1. Morphine Love Dion vs Sapphira Cristal (RPDR 16) in the Top 5 where most of the people in online community think Morphine won the lip sync but RuPaul did not save her because she ran out of lifelines & she was in the bottom for the 4th time with 0 wins vs Sapphira's 1st time with 4 wins.
2. Lana Ja'Rae vs Sam Starr (RPDR 17) Top 6 round (same case as Morphine vs Sapphira argument but the only difference was Sam has 2 wins).
3. Bones vs Paige Three (UK Series 7): Paige was eliminated because she doesn't have more potential to win the final 2 maxi challenges (makeover & roast) than Bones despite Paige "won" the lip sync in the eyes of online community.

Counterargument:

Nini Coco of Season 18 saved twice by RuPaul despite her chances of getting eliminated was high?

Top 5 Round: She beat front runner Jane Don't in the elimination lip sync by a huge margin. Jane (3 wins) did not receive Sapphira treatment because Nini has 2 wins unlike Morphine with 0 and Myki Meeks started to rise after she was dragged into Bottom 2 by her fellow queens in the opposing group during Rate-A-Queen evaluation.

Top 4 Round: Initially the online community claimed that Juicy Love Dion "won" the lipsync over Nini because of Nini's restricted dress but judges' critique about Juicy's "needed more time to cook" already sealed Juicy's elimination even before the start the lip sync match vs Nini? 

since the video where mistress quotes jorgeous as being pickled, i’ve seen people use it as a term that refers to getting pumped but i had recalled the term being used previously by vanjie and mistress in this video. u can see at 17:23 and 27:38 that the tern actually refers to transitioning (aka pickling into a woman). thanks sorry this is just something absolutely irritating to me for no reason lololol
