Can anyone recommend me a best tasting, very spicy snack?
Preferably something not too unhealthy. I love buldak spicy ramen it’s perfect but I could use maybe a healthier alternative to ramen.

I haven’t had Tabasco in a while and decided to get the Pepper and Habanero while shopping at Target.
I put some on my burrito and the vinegar taste was so strong, almost chemical tasting. I don’t ever remember it tasting that vinegary. I don’t mind the vinegar taste in hot sauces but this ruined my food.
It’s called sweet phantom heat and it taste like those cinnamon sugar Cheetos that they put out near the end of the year but with a whole bunch of spice. Actually, I was kind of surprised that it’s a little bit hotter than the xxtra hot cheetos but, yeah, they taste awful. Imagine it like a cinnamon crumb cake or a muffin with a bunch of chilies in it.

Found this recently while cleaning my basement. I remeber buying this directly from the Paqui website back in 2017 when it first released and was supposed to do the one-chip challenge with my friends, but some of them backed out so it never got used. Just wanted to share with the community and all the cool momentos it came with.

i go through chili crisp jars on eggs and rice fast. the issue is most store brands nail the crunchy garlic and shallot texture but have almost zero kick. i want rich texture without dumping raw pepper flakes on top just to get spice. what crunchy chili oil brands are you buying that bring genuine heat?

Pretty darn hot but has a really good flavor profile trying to see how high on the spicy scale I can make it haha

I went to a local food festival this weekend and stumbled upon a tent from a local company named Black Eyed Susan.
Where so many hot sauces essentially distill down to vinegar and pepper mash, every hot sauce I tried from these guys was complex and full of flavor. I couldn’t recommend Black Eyed Susan sauces more, especially if you’re in the DMV and want to support a local brand!
Pictured here:
Cannonball Crush - garlicky and citrusy with a good kick. Nothing that’s gonna kill you, but that’s kinda the point. I see myself finishing this bottle soon.
Red Flag - Apparently this was the #7 level on Hot Ones early on. Red fruits (grapes, raspberries, and cranberries) mixed with scorpion pepper. One of the few scorpion sauces I’ve had where the unique flavor of the scorpion pepper doesn’t dominate the flavor profile. I like this one a lot and am looking forward to experimenting with uses. Went well on a turkey burger!
Death By Chocolate Dry Rub - I was hesitant to buy this, but it works! Admittedly, the only application so far has been on a turkey burger, but the cocoa powder works in synchronicity with the smoked paprika, brown sugar, onions, and garlic. I can see this working great with chicken and beef.

Seafood obviously, but anything in particular? It’s just sitting in my fridge.

Not the spiciest but solid heat and aromas nonetheless

Nice. Habanero is fav.
I've been looking for a solid replacement for those Paquai Ghost Pepper Chips for ever. Inching ever closer.

Had this in Mexico City years ago, amazing chili crisp with actual big pieces of dried chiles instead of it being super ground up. Amazon usually has it stocked, but sometimes they don’t and I’m wondering if anyone has had anything similar? Every other brand I’ve tried (good and bad) is either very ground up or burnt tasting. I absolutely love the big pieces in Don Chilio, adds a next level crunch. Thanks!

I think I’ll call them garlic dill kickles

I’m away from home and jalapeños, for some reason, are really hard to come by here. I was finally able to find a supermarket that sold them and decided to have a snack.

I tried spicy ice cream for the first time recently and I still can’t decide if I liked it or hated it.
The first few bites were sweet and creamy, then the heat slowly kicked in afterward. It felt so wrong, but somehow I kept eating it anyway. I usually like spicy food, but mixing chili heat with something cold and sweet messed with my brain a little. Is spicy ice cream something you’d actually order again, or is it more of a one time curiosity?

Just came back from St. Maarten where I discovered this gem. Excellent flavor and a great spice level. Definitely dont skip on this one!
