Like seriously. That's all I have to say about that. I don't care that he's just a kid blah blah whatever he's stubborn about a bridge and it's annoying.

season 7 and i decided to stop watching.
the whole show is just very toxic and sad for me. i understand that it can be relatable sometimes, and i know that the whole point is basically showing a dysfunctional, imperfect family, but at some point it just stopped being funny for me.
it feels like all the bad parts of being in a family just being shoved in my face non-stop in a comedy drama. frankie constantly being miserable and overwhelmed, mike being emotionally unavailable, the kids constantly struggling with each other and their parents, and then brick, sue and axl each having their own things going on. like bro 😭 can these people have ONE normal happy day
and i think that’s what gets me. individually, i actually like a lot of the characters. sue is probably the one i enjoy the most because she’s genuinely wholesome despite everything, and brick is obviously hilarious in his own weird way. even axl has his moments. but putting all of them together just creates this constant feeling of dysfunction, disappointment, arguments, financial struggles, parenting problems, people not appreciating each other, etc.
i understand that this is probably what makes the show realistic and relatable to a lot of people. not every family is happy and wholesome 24/7. but personally, i watch sitcoms because i want to feel good 😭 i don’t need to be reminded every 20 minutes that life is difficult and families can be exhausting.
by season 7 i genuinely felt like i was losing aura points every episode.
maybe i’m just not built for this kind of sitcom, but i think i’m done. bye guys 😭

I started this show a few months ago. I had an idea what it was about. However, there was a lot comedy with so much heart. The Hecks are sort of basically a disorganized but loveable family.

I felt relatable to all the characters. It also made me really miss my dad. Mike was so much like my dad ...anyways I don't think they were bad parents. I don't think there's any bad characters.

Also I have inappropriate crushes on Axl and Sean Donahue

For Frankie, its her reading her reading her drunk letter
For Mike, its him trying to escape Tag, in the first Christmas special
For Sue it’s her trying to join the swim team
For Axl, it’s him trying to escape his mom and putting on socks.
For brick it’s him whispering into the pool

I just watched the last episode for the first time and damn I like it

Other series I watched really had disappointing or not the expected endings but THIS ending was just perfect imo. You feel that they let the series end instead of dragging it AND i love the Sue&Sean storyline hihihi

I know it’s just a sitcom but man the flood room girls were so rude and annoying. The chronic fatigue girl would have qualified for disabled housing right? Why was the other one so agitated on her behalf? And why was the chronic fatigue one’s twin not living with her sister then? The other girl was so entitled, it’s not your room it’s university housing it can go to anyone. Imo she was just mad about giving up her walk in closet. I felt especially bad for sue considering good things happened to her almost never

i just finished the show and wow, im already going back to rewatch. this was such an amazing show and everyone who i made watch it with me at some point also enjoyed it heavily. i just wanted to ask, how do you guys feel about Cindy, Lexie and Sean? assuming that Cindy is the person Brick is married to (which Atticus has confirmed to be her.) I am pretty content with how it ended relationship wise, and I honestly love Cindy lol. is that an unpopular opinion? ive seen some hate on her 😔
