Society | Culture A group of Gujurati people boarded a bus in Germany and started singing loudly while everyone else remained quiet. Extrememly embarassing
Loud Singing By Indian Passengers In Germany Sparks Debate A Viral Video Showing A Group Of Indian Passengers Singing Loudly Inside A Bus In Germany Has Triggered A Debate Online. The Original Post Claims The Group Was Gujarati, But Their Identity And Background Cannot Be Independently Confirmed From The Video Alone. Some Viewers Felt The Singing Was Harmless And Could Simply Be People Enjoying Their Journey. Others Criticised The Group For Being Loud In A Public Transport Setting Where Other Passengers Were Quiet. Public Transport In Germany Generally Places Strong Emphasis On Consideration For Fellow Passengers. What May Be Normal And Fun In One Setting Can Easily Be Seen As Disruptive In Another Culture. Travellers Are Expected To Respect Local Social Norms, Rules And The Comfort Of People Around Them. At The Same Time, Blaming An Entire Community Or All Indians For The Behaviour Of A Few People Is Unfair. The Claim That Such Incidents Could Lead To Strict Visa Restrictions For Indians Is Speculation, Not An Established Fact. The Bigger Lesson Is Simple: Enjoy Yourself, But Know Where To Draw The Line In A Shared Public Space. Travelling Abroad Also Means Representing Yourself And Your Country Through Everyday Behaviour. Respecting Local Etiquette Can Help Avoid Unnecessary Conflict And Negative Perceptions. In My Opinion, Singing Is Not The Problem — Disturbing Other Passengers Is. If People Around You Are Clearly Being Inconvenienced, Lowering The Volume Is Basic Public Etiquette.

Non-Political Bought sanitary pads from my local kirana store
I don’t live in a village or a backward rural area btw. It’s a huge city, not tier 1 exactly, but everyone is educated, well to do and upper middle class, at least in my locality.
For the past few years I’ve been studying in Mumbai and am back home now. Went to get hygiene products for my mother, didn’t think much of it. But the shopkeeper, the guy my family has been going to for the better part of 2 decades now, gave me the pads as if he was selling drugs.
I mean, I’ve purchased marijuana during my college and even my plugs weren’t this proactive with their packaging lmao.
It’s the big 26, and still this is the state of country, the mentality of my people. My mom told this is just how local stores do it here, and I’ve been pissed since I’ve come home.
Wtf is there even to hide here, it’s pads. Cigarettes and alcohol aren’t sold like this. What is so shameful about this. There is no appropriate justification or explanation for this. Apparently we are vishva guru, but periods, lower castes, different religions are still a matter of concern here.
Combine this with the state of our government, the ideology of our leaders, and the background of our politicians… India is going to stay third world forever.
Bloody hopeless.

🚩JustRamRajyaThings🚩 Bajrang Dal Attacks silent reading session in Ahmedabad, Tears Malala and Anne Frank books, asks readers to 'prove you're not Muslim'
For context, Bajrang Dal is a Hindu Nationalist group notorious for such activities, from verbal to physical abuse and violence in the name of upholding Hindu culture and morality. It all started when a private school was forced to ban these two books which led to this silent protest reading.
Ahmedabad police said they are questioning three people after a mob, allegedly of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad supporters, heckled and assaulted a group of book lovers reading The Diary of a Young Girl by Holocaust victim Anne Frank and Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai's I Am Malala in a park.
The bibliophiles had gathered at Vastrapur Garden on Thursday for a silent reading protest against a private school in the city being forced to drop those two books from its reading list.

🚩JustRamRajyaThings🚩 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans raised during Muharram procession; two men Yogendrapal and Bhuvnesh, arrested
Two men have been arrested in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly after police alleged they instigated a child to raise a “Pakistan Zindabad” slogan and circulated the video online with misleading claims linking it to a Muharram procession. (Devdiscourse) According to police, the accused, identified as Yogendra Pal and Bhuvnesh Kumar, allegedly recorded the video and shared it with the intention of creating communal tension. (Devdiscourse) Investigators said the viral clip was falsely presented as footage from a Muharram procession, while the probe found that the slogan was allegedly prompted by the accused themselves. (The Times of India) A case has been registered and legal proceedings are underway. Authorities have also urged the public not to share unverified videos that could disturb communal harmony. (Devdiscourse) The incident has sparked widespread discussion online about misinformation, social media responsibility, and maintaining public peace.
