Anyone here aattend sa Student Orientation on Sept 19 in person?
Randomly seated po ba ang mga students or naka by-Program? The introvert in me is overthinking. 😬

Hi! I am expecting an email regarding enrollment because it starts at September 7 and I still haven't gotten any. I emailed twice and still no response. I'm really worried and stressed since last two weeks of august. Should I expect rejection?

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if the admission results for the Bachelor's and Associate programs will be released today?

Are PTC students eligible for ID?

Yung Associate Degree (AADDA) ba ng UPOU eh may chance makapag land ng work dito sa Pilipinas? like hindi ba mahigpit ang employer? pamangkin ko kasi nag Bachelors Degree ng Multimedia Arts sa ibang university, but since due to financial difficulties then nag-stop sya. Then nakita nya tong UPOU, so nag-apply muna sya as Associate Degree... now ang status nya eh "Applicant completed the DE Readiness Module; Waiting for the Admission Results from the Faculty Office" if ever ma-admit sya, iniisip nya kapag natapos nya yung course eh magtuloy sya sa bachelor? or diretso work.

Hello! So anyone experience receiving an email today from UPOU? As far as I know, tapos na ako sa DERM last July 24 and I'm just waiting for admission result for BAMS. I checked my email today and still receive a reminder to complete my DERM. Is it just me or may iba pang naka-experience?
hello, i would like to ask kung gaano po katagal bago po nila ma-verify yung payment? i submitted my proof of payment the same day i passed my application and until now yung status parin po sa oas is "awaiting payment verification". thank u!!

Hi! I Applied to ASIT and took the DERM but my status on the site is still "Applicant to take the DE Readiness Module" I received an email saying ignore it if I already took the test. Just want to ask if there are also people who has the same experience? I see other people's status changed after taking the DERM. Should i be worried? 🥲

Hello po!
Recently transferred to the MPM Program (previously MRDM student), so parang incoming first year po ako.
Just want to know if meron po ba Group Chat or any social space ng MPM students if kung sakali may questions and clarifications sa program?
If meron, pwede po ba mag-join? 😀

I completed within time all the requirements (all quizzes passed, posted in all discussion forums) for a MOOC called "Understanding the Language of Business: Accounting Overview & Basic Financial Statements" which ended on August 23 this year. I noticed today it's not displaying on my dashboard, & upon checking around the website, any mention of the course seems to have been erased. In every personal sections of my profile, it's as if I never enrolled it it. A course I just finished today and another one I finished in Feb 2026 are both visible in my Dashboard and elsewhere/course listings.
Could this most probably be:
Natural when certs are being processed?
An indication I failed? (though how/I highly doubt)
An issue with the website or the particular subject itself?
If there's anyone that went through a situation that can shed light or have a good guess, feel free to comment. My first time posting here, apologies if there are any issues w/ the post.

Hi guys, sana may makakita kasi na-stress na talaga ako sa kakaisip. May nakapag-shift na po ba dito from BES to BAMS (or vice versa) successfully?
Ang main concern ko po talaga dito is kung gaano ka-tight ang time. And I cannot control kung kailan ma-submit ng FICS ang grades ko.
The deadline for submission of grades is September 15. Registration for 1T AY 2026-2027 opens on September 7 and ends on September 19.
Ang requirements for shifting ay Form 30 and TCG, and this is where I’m getting anxious. I obviously cannot email the TCG now, and I really need to wait until ALL GRADES are encoded sa AIMS. Worst-case scenario is all grades are completed sa September 15 talaga, which only leaves me 4 days to finalize everything.
Tapos, say for example, give a day para ma-deliver ang TCG ko from Los Baños. Tapos maghihintay ulit ako hanggang sa final confirmation ng both faculties by the time na na-email ko na ang requirements ko.
I cannot register unless there’s a go signal that I’m officially shifted. So ayun po, please enlighten me na lang.
😭

Hello I applied for an 80% student loan, do I need to pay the remaining 20% na, or need ko mag wait ng confirmation muna before uploading the proof of payment sa registration portal doon sa remaining na babayaran?

Twenty years ago, I applied to the University of the Philippines—UPLB and UP Manila. I was waitlisted.
At that time, I never appealed. Life had other plans, circumstances changed, and I eventually took a different path. For a long time, I thought that chapter of my life had quietly closed.
But perhaps some dreams are not meant to disappear. They simply wait for the right time.
Today, after earning two master’s degrees and completing my doctorate, I find myself standing at the doors of the University of the Philippines once again.
This time, I am officially admitted to the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU).
It feels surreal.
Twenty years ago, I was a young applicant waiting for an opportunity. Today, I return with years of experience, lessons, failures, achievements, and a deeper understanding of why I wanted to continue learning in the first place.
This is more than another academic milestone. For me, it is a reminder that delayed does not mean denied. Sometimes, life takes us through a longer road—not to take us away from our dreams, but to prepare us for them.
I may have missed my chance twenty years ago, but I am grateful that I never completely stopped moving forward.
From being waitlisted two decades ago… to being admitted today.
After 20 years, I’m finally coming home to UP.
And this time, I’m ready.

Hi! Currently taking the Professional Teaching Certification (PTC) program at UPOU and I just have a few questions po, especially for PTC students/graduates.
Medyo sentimental reason din haha. I really want to visit UPLB/UPOU in person and somehow experience the campus since most of our PTC journey is online. Gusto ko lang din ma-feel kahit papaano na naging UP student ako. 🥹🌻
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has tried this before. Thank you po!

I got an EXT grade and an Unauthorized Drop grade last semester. My plan is to re-enroll only in the course where I got the Unauthorized Drop and just complete the course where I have an EXT.
Pwede ba iyon? Since magiging 3 units lang ang maieenroll ko now?
