tbh from a human pov it's kinda true. Dolphins do fucked up stuff but are generally friendly towards humans. While sharks can easily mistake swimming people to seals and attack them.

Also it depends on the species but some sharks are definitely not "imma do a swim" but "fuck up everything in a 2 mile radius around me"

Great Whites, despite being the poster children of the shark family, are generally fairly chill as long as you don't look like a seal. Some species like nurse sharks are outright harmless and very cute.

Bull and tiger sharks are massive assholes whose sole purpose in life is to make everyone in their general vicinity as miserable as possible for no clear benefit.

In defense of tiger sharks, they are just stupid and will try to bite everything they find including rubber tires and boat engines.

In defense of the bullsharks we are literally building on top of their breeding ground. Of course the hormonal sharks that can't get their freak on are gonna be testy.
