I get this is a hot take, but hear me out.

Look. There’s this thing that people do, especially online. Where people will make fun of someone, and then that someone dies and then everyone is like, “wow we should never do that again”. And then everyone does it again. One thing that comes to mind is Chadwick Boseman. People made fun of him for looking really skinny. Turns out the guy had pancreatic cancer and died within a few years. Now people are making fun of Ariana Grande who is clearly suffering from some sort of health issue.

All I’m saying is I have a bad feeling about it. We’re talking about a player who at the very least was an unselfish player on the field. Great blocking receiver. Initially had no drama in the NFL. Then slowly contract drama and it turns into crashouts on social media, losing millions of dollars and posting himself speeding, etc.

It just feels like there’s an extremely high likelihood that the guy has CTE, and everybody is doing it again. Everybody is going to make fun of him for his antics and I feel like it’s just going to get worse until the dude does something really really bad. And then everyone is going to post about “how sad the situation is” and “we need to take these signs more seriously”. I mean, if you were to ask fans of the NFL which player likely has CTE, Brandon Aiyuk would be the top answer.

I’m not trying to get on a high horse, and I know I’m not going to change human nature, but I also feel like it’s worth mentioning.

In case you didn't know, we're flying to Australia a week before the game to allow us to acclimate after a 17-hour flight, while the Rams plan to fly in hours before kickoff, trying to beat the body clock. However, playing a game after sitting for hours on a plane drastically increases injury risks compared to the 49ers, who will be acclimated to Australia's time change. In addition, while players can play on adrenaline during the first 20-30 minutes of game time, it will likely wear off by the second half, making the Rams look tired.

TLDR: Because of the differences in travel strategy, expect the game to be close, or the Rams to pull ahead in the first half, before jet lag sets in the second half and we take advantage of that
