Can I Delete the Village Hall?

Post image
Upvotes

I'm moving up to tier 3.

Can I delete the village hall to make space? Do I need it still?

Thanks in advance!

Any idea, why my outpost villagers insist on crossing the bridge here to this specific spot? (more info in comments)

How to get T4 techs

Saw this video on YT. Not a lot you can currently do with the tech but thought it might be helpful. The hidden distillery book was the surprise to me

T4 - Tech Orchard / Distillery

Drove across Virginia this weekend - all I could see as I watched the scenery pass by was Sapling, Young Tree, Tree, Hardwood Tree...

Actually passed a stack of logs on the side of the road at one point too, but wife wasnt quick enough to get the picture. Explaining to her why I needed a picture so badly ... she was unimpressed. I don't think she truly understood how I'm seeing the world right now...

To much pelts.

Just got to tier 2. I have around 400-500 pelts. Is there a way to use these to help the village or should I just trash them

Dörfer aufwerten

Hallo zusammen,

I’d like to know how to upgrade the villages—specifically, how to get them to produce things like iron or weapons so I can buy them. I’ve liberated two villages so far and am going after the third. I also researched a house and had it built in one of the villages to increase the population. What else can I do, or what’s the best way to allocate skills for the best results?

Halmere Isle boredom

I went to Halmere, killed the Kug guy and it instantly made me bored with the game. I don't even care about the fact I haven't unlocked orchards.

Why was this 'new DLC location' so underwhelming and boring and a buggy mess. Half the quest objectives spawn underground where you can't loot them or inspect them so you can't even get the required rep you need to talk to the island engineers.

To rant or not to rant

I do love the game, let it be known. But lately it keeps crashing (i'm on console) and while i keep saving, it just crashed at a very exciting point. It is happening more, recently...

Besides that there seem to be a lot of bugs that they could probably fix pretty easily, like mesh issues with clothing etc

Take Crimson Desert devs (don't know their names) they put out upgrade after patch and again. That's caring about your customers...

Am i missing something? It's a shame i couldn't give this game 5/5 stars because if they just put some effort into it they could make this one of my favorites, personally.

Also, what a blazing sun right now on a cold winter's night!

Glitch?

I logged into the game today (Steam platform on PC) and continued my main game.
Suddenly, bandits are walking thru and killing my villagers and when I raise my troops, the bandits run.
As soon as I disband, they turn and attack again,

Is this a glitch?

Halmare islands ending

I sided the Halmayans and got to the end, met with Sebastian and chose the option where he would distract the Queen and help me with Karvenia. However, when I selected that option it automatically put me at war with the Halmayans. I’d like to come back and trade with the Halmayans. Does anyone know which option I should choose for get the ending where I’m still an ally of the Halmayans?

Guide to new players on Structure Priority

This is to help new players from having to micro manage their buildings and being stuck crafting when you can be adventuring.

Any building that is built is automatically set to Structure Priority 5. Just like when you hire to villager's, their Job Priority is 5 as a default. This guide helps village task flows to reduce bottlenecks in crafting/cooking process with an explanation. Generally speaking, you want buildings that collect resources at the highest and each subsequent building is an add on process to the final product (food, armor, weapons).

I.E.: #. Buildings [Similar Building] (Explaination)

Structure Priority

  1. Research Tables (This is your Tech Tree, researching can take quite a while and you're on a quasi timer since trees and ore deposits are finite until you unlock certain higher tech buildings)
  2. Farm, Foraging [Camp, Hut, Lodge], Animal Hunting [Hunter Camp, Lodge, Trapper's Camp, Fishing Camp], Logging [Camp, Lumberjack, Lumbermill], Mining [Hut, Camp, Pit] (Any building that's gathering vital raw materials should be here)
  3. Apiary, Thresher, Butchery, Mud Collector, Lumberjack Spot (Buildings that start the initial process, or collect non vital material like mud and honey)
  4. Drying Rack, Mixing Bucket, Cauldron [Tavern, Inn], Windmill, Coal Burner, Pit Saw
  5. Tanning Rack, Weaver Loom, Cauldron [Campfire], Bakery, Animal Pens [Bird Coops, Livestock Barn], Smelt [Bloomery, Furnace, Smelter], Forester
  6. Tanner's Hut, Weaver Table, Smoking Rack, Work [Simple Workbench, Toolmaker, Workshop] (Basic Gear should be completed around here)
  7. Armourer, Blacksmith (Late game gear)
  8. Campfire (Prioritize making high quality food/ buffs, really shouldn't be using a campfire past early game)
  9. Compost Pile (Food that has gone bad/burnt)

Final Notes:

Except for Gear (Weapons/Armor), anything produced should be set to [Top Up]

VERY IMPORTANT: Set the initial amount that you are topping up to very low (<20) or else your workers will be stuck in an early process and you're wondering why everyone is hungry. Raise the numbers as you scale the village and hire more workers.

Other notes: Smoking Rack is scuffed and villagers tend to prioritize over cauldrons, either remove them eventually or set them to low or none. Animals go through feed quickly, so be certain if you want them (suggest sticking to one bird coop of only chickens or only goose and one barn of cows with a gender ratio of 3 male/7 female) and keep their feed storage topped up. Mid game requires a ton of Cob and Thatch so there's going to be a point where you'll want to top up to at least 100 for those and 1000 for straw.

Please comment for any other suggestions or tips, I'll edit as necessary. Remember the priorities are suggestions, play however you see fit.

Letter of Ashbourne

So I may have screwed up. I was near Ashbourne’s Brigand Headquarters and wanted to test my troops, so we fought him and his brigands and won. But I had my troops loot everything and we headed back. I found his sword, so I know he was there and we killed him, but I didn’t find this apparently important ‘Letter of Ashbourne’ that has you find the Butcher, etc. I went back and checked and even had another battle with the Brigands there but he didn’t show the second time. It used to be that he respawned and I thought he would drop it but no luck. Anyone know if this has happened to them and what they did?

Anybody else use stockpiles for cheesing bandits that wander into your camps?

Just curious if others do this. Hop up on the stockpile, have a shoot out with their archer. Then face shot the two dips standing there looking at you. Sometimes if they have a dude with some kind of polearm, they can reach me and I have to take them out first while dodging arrows.

But yeah... Is it only me?

Haerndean Bug.

Hello. So I liberated Hearndean in an abnormal way. Basically I died when the second wave came and then I returned with my army to kill the leftovers. When I did this I was able to finish the quest and the quest is completed. But every time I return to the town a group of Brigands pop up on some rocks and I have to kill them again. The worst thing is I can’t recruit people who require the town to be liberated, even after I re-kill everyone. Is there a fix for this glitch?

New Player Help

New player about to start the game. Vet of Subnautica, Planet Crafter, Medieval Dynasty, and a whole lot of 4x, strategy, and building games from Civ 1 (yes, 1) to present.

What do I need to know to play this game?

Halmare isle and my mistake.

Do not immediately go kill Kug. It will demolish the quest line entirely.

The quest still wants me to meet kug now that he's been killed and I've already given the island to another faction. Over all now the isle is just not fun since the other two factions have squadrons roaming around and I have to be sneaky when I'm not with my army.

Moving Advice

Hi, i play console so no mods, but I'm looking at moving a T2 village from starting point down to middle of map, would be it best to relocate every building in one go and set most of workers to construction and delivery, or best to do a couple of buildings at a time.

Also if I move my pig pen and chicken coop will all the animals run down to the new location automatically or would I need to walk them down? And would it be best to just build 2 new buildings of these rather than relocating them?

Thank your for any advice

I feel like an unavoidable part of the game that makes a good chunk of players quit might not be a good idea, but that's just me.

Need some help

I love the whole concept of the game, I loved medieval dynasty as well. I thought I knew what I was doing but somehow it seems I dont know what I'm doing at all.

I have my main camp just east of Padstow, on the other side of the road of where the lake is. I have a logging camp up north near Haerndaen. I also put a stockpile there because I thought that if I set someone's priority of woodcutting to 1, he would stay there and keep gathering wood. I set someone else's delivery to 1 and I expected him to be hauling all the wood from the second stockpile next to the logging camp, to my main stockpile to keep it stocked. Now somehow that delivery guy is transporting wood from my main to my second stockpile and I have no idea why and how to turn that off.

I also have the feeling that theres not much woodcutting going on and most of my people are just harvesting and wasting time with nothing. I'm at day 15 and it doesn't feel like I made much progression at all..
