For people in nursing I had a few questions. I appreciate any help.

Clinicals are scheduled for full 12 hours on two days. I know the actual clinicals will only be around 4 hours a day. But I wanted to know if those 4 hours will be different every week for each person (for ex: Tuesday 2 to 6 pm on week 1 and then 3 to 7 pm on week 2) or will it be consistent throughout the semester?

When will we find out our clinicals schedule?

Need to know this for my other commitments

I'm starting at carleton soon for civil engineering and was wondering how powerful of a laptop I really need (for first year at least). I have a macbook air m2 right now and i'm a bit worried it might not be powerful enough mainly since it only has 8gb of ram? How long does it usually take for professors to post the course content

I have those dashes at the end of my classes titles on my timetable and kind of just wanted to know what they stood for, im guessing L stands for labs but then i was also told chem labs or ecor labs happen once every two weeks so why does it show on my calendar an -L class every week

(incoming sciences student) what do i do if i need a lab coat for my courses but theyre sold out?? can i get a lab coat from another place or does it have to be from the campus store?

Hello. I am an incoming Grade 12 student. So, to see which undergrad program I want to apply to, I usually go to the website "Ontario University Info " or OUInfo. So, for context, I wanna do pre-med and all I can see there is Health Sci and Cognitive Sci or Science (Science – Honours (4 years), Science – Major (4 years), Science – Non-Honours (3 years)).

Now, when I go to the Carleton University website and select all the different faculties, I can see programs like Biochem, Biology, Neuroscience, or Bioinformatics, etc)

So I am confused: are Biochem, Biology, and Neuroscience all different programs, and can I apply in OUAC as a different major or are all these under the science mentioned in  OUInfo?

Does anyone have the required book (Psychology:Themes And Variations 7th Cdn Ed) and is willing to sell it to me for under 20? Also, is it a must to get the specific edition (7th) of the book or am I fine with using an older version? If anyone has the pdf version that would be godsent. Thanks 🙏

I signed into Brightspace today and noticed that one of my courses has the full course from last year available, including announcements.

I didn't open anything.

Would it be academic misconduct to open stuff and look at it? I'm curious about the course and already a few chapters into the textbook.

Basically when I went to check the course outline of one of my courses in brightspace the time the teacher said the course was is different from in my timetable and I just checked it again today and it’s still showing as the time when I first signed up for it. I’m wondering if this is a mistake on the outline or the timetable because I would rather not miss my first class and I specifically chose this class so it wouldn’t be in the morning which is what is in the course outline.

I'm deciding if I should attend TIFF or the SPPA orientation for my master's program. Has anyone ever attended the orientation, and is it useful or helpful? I attended orientation for my undergrad back then, but I found it quite useless

Do i just suck it up and do 2107 since 1104 precludes 1152?

This is a desperate post but does anyone have access to the STAT2507 lectures from Professor Wayne Horne by any chance? I had to defer the exam for severe medical reasons and to be honest I was quite inactive for the final third of the course because of it but the lectures are not on the brightspace for reference anymore.
