Hello all. Was wondering if you have any tips on how to fix a hood gap? I have a 2021 SXT and it has an aftermarket hellcat bumper. TIA

Should I make any mods to this 2020 Scat Pack Shaker M6? Like a new cam, exhaust, different shifter? Don’t get me wrong I love my Green Hornet as is. Just want a little beefier exhaust sound and a throatier idle sound. Any suggestions from my fellow Challenger/Scat Pack/Shaker owners?

Just thought I’d share because it was pretty hilarious to me. I pulled up to the gas station, bunch of kids sitting outside, between 8-12 years old. They start screaming for me to rev it. I have a 23 sxt, destroyer grey with black out everything. It’s a mean looking car I’ll be honest.Anyways I just tell them no , it doesn’t have a “ good rev” and they keep asking , now there up on the car begging. I just go ahead and “rev” it for them, which obviously, it’s a stock v6 it doesn’t rev at all, and this one kid scrunches up his face real bad and goes “ AWW THAT SUCKS! “ 😂 😂 and he was being genuine not mean, he felt bad for me 😂 another kid goes “is that an eco boost?” 😂 anyways yeah, I’ve been planning to trade up to a hellcat for a while now just haven’t came across the one I want at the right price. But anyways man that was funny , the kid telling me how bad my revv sucks

I’ve only ever seen one other one, love the hood scoop on it but I wasn’t a big fan of the red stickers around the wheels, not a very common version of this car up here in Canada.

Update to my previous post! I secured the Shaker kit, and I secured a 5.7L bracket that should be coming in soon, however, I'm not really sure what bolt size/thread I need to mount the Shaker bracket. What size, thread, and length do I need to safely mount the bracket onto my intake manifold. Thanks in advance!

I did my own oil change a few weeks ago on my 2018 Challenger SXT. I've done it a few times before whenever I have the time and feel up for the job, and I've never had any issues.
This time, I was getting ready to go on a road trip, and for whatever reason, I decided to add about half a bottle of engine oil additive. The car has around 90K miles, and I figured it wouldn't hurt.
I finished the oil change, started the car, and while I was sitting in it, I noticed oil leaking everywhere. I immediately pulled the car back into the parking spot and shut it off. When I looked underneath, it appeared that almost all of the oil had leaked out.
I'm trying to figure out what the hell happened. One thing I should mention is that I forgot to replace the oil filter gasket during the oil change. I've since replaced it and added some oil back into the engine.
I've been told it could possibly be the oil filter housing, but the car has always been well maintained and has never shown any signs of engine problems or oil leaks before this.
I'm considering filling the oil back up completely to see if it starts leaking again, but I don't want to make things worse. Any ideas on what could have caused this?

Pre-ordered this beast on the heels of Ian when they announced the LAST CALL for the giant V8. This is NOT my first or only performance car but this is so retro it's cool. Drives like a beast and the electronics compliment it nicely. Big and comfortable and fast like a bat out if hell. The Shaker gives me near instant acceleration. Based on my options is close to being 1 of a kind trying to confirm that. But in a way I couldn't care less. Bought it to drive it like if I stole it. And that I do just that whenever I'm around it. IMO Dodge is the last of the muscle cars. Big and powerful. Didn't want the stripes but couldn't delete it at the time and now they've grown on me. And while the front shot exaggerates it due to angle it's not noticeable sideways or when looking at it head on. In love with this.

So my first car is a 2008 Pontiac G6, and I ended up getting a 2009 Dodge Challenger SE, and after driving the Challenger for so long, the G6 no longer feels 'right'. The seats, the pedals, the steering wheel, the sitting position, the drive feel, and the engine no longer feel 'right' anymore. The Challenger is such a nice upgrade that the old G6 feels like sh*t. There's little to no power behind the wheel, and the engine vibration is terrible. And the G6 is in really good condition. No lights on the dash, the struts are good, the suspension, the tires, and engine mounts are all fine.
Does anyone else have this same issue where the old no longer feels 'right' anymore?
Edit: I forgot to mention it's the basic 4 door with the i4 engine.

Just hit 60k. I used to work at a dealership in my younger years and we would always push 60k maintenance appointments but the techs always joked that it really was nothing. That was years ago, has anything changed? I do my own oil every 3k miles full synthetic (or first thing in the spring when she comes out of hibernation). Should I bring her in for a check up? Also any idea how much I should expect to spend? I just want to take care of the car, my dad bought her brand new and passed a year after so its not my daily driver, but definitely my most prized 4 wheel toy.

So Ive had this issue for the past couple days. Its an intermittent warbling screech that usually happens around turns and at low speeds. Sometimes accelerating, sometimes coasting. Very hard to find a trigger for it. It sounds like its coming from the front passenger side, but cant tell if its in the wheel or under the hood.
If I'm accelerating, it stops after I take my foot off the gas. But that doesnt keep it from happening. Ive had some squeals in the past that Ive tried getting diagnosed but nothing appears on diags, and no garage seems to be able to replicate or address the issue. I got it on video just to take to my next service so that I can show definitively what's up.
Any idea what this might be?

Hey guys, first reddit post ever. I’m 22, I’ve been driving trucks my whole life, and i’ve always said if I was to get a car it would be a challenger. Well…. last week I pulled the trigger! I know it’s just an SXT and i’m not looking for any crazy performance right now, I just love the way they look. Any advice/things I should know? Thanks!

Stumbled upon 2011 Dodge Challenger 120k thousand miles 3500$ but it needs a lifter replaced. Is it worth it?

The kids named my car, so I had a logo made using a picture of my wife as context. She’s been jealous of the attention the car gets…

Did i fuck my car??? I got into a pretty bad car accident in March. I was Tboned and the lady driving her car took my front grill headlight and front driver fender. I put all my money into repairs and got her back on the road. When I was doing the repairs, i couldn’t find a grill to replace her so I had to get the SRT-style grill, mind you, my car is only a SXT plus 😭. It looks ok but i know that badge is killing me, it feels like I’m lying to people. What do you think?

I recently picked up a 2023 last call RT. I dont plan on modifying it much past small things like tinted windows.
The only thing I dont like about the car is the color. It is black and very hard to keep looking nice. I have been considering getting it wrapped to an easier color to keep clean, maybe the same color as my wife's sting Grey jeep.
I didn't want to do something semi major like wrapping it if the last call destination makes it worth more than other similar RTs. With that said, if it being a last call doesn't really impact value, I might just move ahead with it.
Thanks!

Came across a 2009 RT with 62k miles. The body has some small dents and scratches here and there. But there are 2 large cracks in the dashboard where the speakers are. Anyone else have the same situation going on in their car?

Has anyone here dealt with the hemi tick or issues when buying an RT?
What mileage is a good target for an RT?
It seems really hard to find one with any service records honestly.
Is over 90k miles a deal breaker? Or..should I just assume I’m gonna do a major repair on anything over that mileage and factor into the price?
I’d love to hear y’all’s experiences with used RT purchases good or bad, and your recommendations.
Hoping to hear the roar of a hemi soon.
Preciate it!!
