Out with the New, In with the Old
Knew this day was coming and it is here. The 2021 Scat is gone and the 1968 440 is safe inside the garage

Had mine for about a year and half and I’m absolutely loving it. I straight piped it with cats cut off and it’s nice and loud about to do some long tube headers in the next couple of months.

i've been searching for an rt for the past couple of months and I found a 2019 with 80k miles for $25k. Should I pull the trigger and get it? I don't want to be hastily but ik a deal like that won't be there the long.

Anyone done a windshield yet, what did it cost you? Getting up there in miles and just added a nice new rock chip this morning (yay). No cracks yet, but I'm sure this new one will be the catalyst. Thinking it might be time to replace it. '19 Scat Pack, I don't have the Technology Group so no sensors or anything in the glass.

Hi, i see a lot of people here underestimating their V6s, im here to say that you can definitely learn to appreciate your V6 more by just knowing its strength and weaknesses. Yeah ive been there, hate and love relationship with my V6, days where i wish it had more power, and days where i genuinely just enjoy it.
Ive driven my V6 near its absolute limit in stock condition. Offroading, nearly maxing out the Speedometer, rough weather rough driving, going over obstacles, 0 to 60 in different conditions, racing, carrying capacity, burn outs and more. Basically i drive it like im Joe Dirt in his Daytona.
For new buyers or current owners alike, i can maybe hopefully give you a few insights about the V6 trim from my experiences. Yes i have a clean driving record all my life, and no i dont go to takeovers or rowdy carmeets nor do i go racing around the freeway or residential area. Most of my testing were done at night in the backroads with no traffic or pedestrians in atleast 1 mile radius.

Offered 2700 and they took it. Nice ride home some folks would wonder why? Well I plan on beating the piss out of it for commutes to work and gets better MPG than my F250 (seen in the back)

I’m thinking of buying this one, clean title, engine light on for the fuel pump. I’m knowledgeable enough to be able to fix it, but is it worth it?? They’re asking a bit over $6k

New to the charger family! Got her around a month ago.
I got a replacement bumper to put on it but the bolts inside the trunk won't come out because the only bumper threads are stripped. I tried to push up from the bottom while using a powered ratchet. And couldn't get it. Any ideas?
Thought I could just rip the old one off but then if I can't get it out it's a problem. Might use a blow torch to get some expansion on the hole diameter.
New fender was easy but it's missing the 345 anyone put those on one before? I'm still going to replace the front bumper just need to find one that's color matched.
Got a tunner, cold air intake, muffler delete. Can't lower it very easily because the driveway and I don't really want to park it in the street.

I’ve had my Charger for about two years now. It’s been slow, but I’ve done X-Pipes, resonator delete, exhaust, lowering springs, wheels and tires, tint… But, what next? I am either thinking some small power adders, maybe an intake, new manifold, bigger throttle body… or I could do RGB lights all around and keep the next upgrades visual upgrades only.
Opinions?

I have a 2014 pursuit, the previous owner had to replace the OEM hood latch with an aftermarket. This causes the car alarm to go off at random (so I had to remove the horn fuse) and the remote start will work sometimes. I've found latches compatible with the remote start that say they will fit the pursuit model but are not compatible with the immobilizer.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I'd really like to have my horn and remote start functioning as intended

My 392 is making a chirping sound you can barely hear it.It matches RPMS I’m thinking it’s my belt or my belt tensioner I know they go out around 100k miles and I have 90k.

I just completed 10 years with my Charger RT (2016). I thought I'd share everything that went wrong. Compared to my friend's 2015 Honda Accord, it's a LOT. He has 140k miles on his Honda. I have only 80k on my Charger, yet it cost ME way more to maintain my car.
-Various interior/door panels warped and came undone.
-Starter motor died
-Headlights housing (fogged up, main LEDs went out too)
-AC blend doors/actuators had to be replaced (replacements started making noises already)
-Hood struts
-Oil pressure sensor
-All suspension parts + engine & transmission mounts
-Radiator (fan broke and tore through it) an original replacement costs around 600USD
-Radiator fans and their respective motors (300USD ish)
-Intake manifold gaskets (leaked oil all over the engine and into the the injectors
-PCV
-Transmission pan/filter (says "lifetime fluid" but had to change because shifting is rough for lower gears) costs around 300USD with the fluid and labour
-Trunk struts and inside lights
-Door lock actuators
-Sunroof motor
- windshield sprayer nozzles
Current problems:
-MDS systems gave up. Milage has become abysmal.
-Oil pump on its way out
-Differential (and/or its bushings) is on its way out
-Transmission is still not smooth after new fluid/pan.
-It started burning oil by my measurement of the dipstick
-Spark knock
-unidentified knock from the back during very slow driving
- steering is very heavy. Steering rack needs to be replaced
Meanwhile my friend just changes his oil and pads every now and then and calls it a day. I love my Charger. But damn, it really is financially draining.

2018 Dodge Charger SXT Plus. Bought the car from a dealer; it passed a MD inspection days before I bought it.
I plugged in my iPhone 16 Pro Max like normal the first day I bought it with a Belkin USB-A to USB-C port. CarPlay was working fine, my phone was getting detected and charged. Day 3 of owning it, I turned the car on, went to plug in the phone and CarPlay didn’t work and phone was not detected. I drove around the rest of the day without CarPlay, then when home, I popped the fuse out of the corresponding spot to check if it was blown. It was not, so I popped it back in. Went to start the car, and it wouldn’t start.
Called out AAA and they said the battery was factory original and had went bad so they replaced it on the spot; the car start problem I had earlier was resolved. My CarPlay issue was also resolved, so I thought everything was fine.
Went to plug in my iPhone the next day, and again, CarPlay/the car didn’t detect my iPhone. I tried plugging in an older iPhone 14 Pro and that didn’t work either. Weirdly, the AC Port in the center console works fine to charge my phone. I also tried multiple cords as well and seem to have the problem across all the cords.
I originally thought the CarPlay issue was related to the bad battery, but now think they may just be two separate things. I have trawled through many of the forum posts about similar issues and most people didn’t seem to have solutions. Does anyone have any ideas or similar experiences?

My last car (2019 GTI) was totaled last April and after 2 months and all of the insurance paperwork I ended up in a 2023 Dodge Charger GT. Not sure if it’s fancy enough to be posting it here but would love some starter mod suggestions.
He’s obviously a fish bowl rn so tint is currently my top priority. I normally like to change out the shift knob from stock to an automatic like I did in my last car but not sure what brands are good for that. And current last thought is a cold air intake for a bit of sounded and minor hp. The previous owner already put some plastic skid plate on the bottom so suspension is something I’m thinking about but not exactly in the budget rn.

My 2015 is almost exactly at 80,000miles and I can hear the constant clicking.
I’ve since learned this is a common issue in chargers.
Unfortunately I have to commute with this car 30miles to work each way every day.
I was quoted $7k to fix and I have like $600 in my bank.
Is it ok to keep driving until it just dies? Is there anything I can do to mitigate the issue? I don’t have cash to repair and this is my only car I have to use.
Not sure if it’s sellable or what. Feel like I have no options but to drive until it dies but even then seems like a waste at such low mileage and I’ll still need a car.
Advice needed please I’m struggling :(

I just replaced the drive shaft on my 17 sxt with a one piece and now have a vibration above 45. Can see balance weights on the shaft so wondering what I couldve done wrong to cause the vibration.
