Can anyone help me with a crypto/USDT transaction issue?
I’m looking for someone experienced with BSC/BNB Smart Chain, smart contracts, Trust Wallet, or token investigations who can help me understand what happened and whether there is any legitimate way to recover the funds.
Here’s the situation:
\- I purchased what I believed was USDT from a seller and made the payment through UPI.
\- The tokens were received in my wallet, but later I discovered that the token/contract is not the official USDT contract.
\- I tried depositing the tokens to an exchange, but the exchange flagged them as a suspicious/unlisted token and did not credit the deposit.
\- I have the transaction hashes, token contract address, wallet addresses, and blockchain transaction history.
\- I have also contacted the payment bank/exchange and reported the payment issue through the appropriate channels.
\- I’m now trying to understand the smart contract and token flow and determine whether the tokens can be legitimately recovered, returned, or otherwise resolved.
I’m not asking anyone to hack, exploit, or illegally modify the contract. I only want help analyzing the publicly available blockchain/contract information and understanding what legitimate options I have.
If someone has experience with BscScan, proxy contracts, ownership/admin functions, token contracts, or tracing BSC transactions, please let me know what information you need and I can provide the relevant public blockchain details here.
Please don't ask for private information, seed phrases, passwords, OTPs, or wallet private keys. I will not share those.
Any genuine technical guidance would be greatly appreciated.
