Complete DS9 series is $14.99 on fandango
I had been looking for a while, and not all the series are, but I know Ive been looking to get the various series cheap and was glad to see it go on sale
TOS complete series is still $60 but the individual seasons are 5, 10 and 10 respectively
Not trying to spam or anything just seemed like a place to mention it if you're getting tired of keeping Paramount plus basically to just watch TOS and DS9 like I do.

Was there a reason they stopped showing Bajor?
Likely going to forget instances of it etc. But early seasons they tend to go down to Bajor and show the city etc, ussually as Sisko is talking to someone down there. That tended to go away and if he was talking to Bajoran figures they came to the station. Can understand if it Dominion War related etc, but just felt like something that was going to be a regular occurrence and it just kind of faded away.
Was there a bigger story or budgetary reason? Or am I just overthinking things.

Books Like Deep Space Nine?
I am looking for any books that feel like Deep Space Nine. I am flexible on genre, but I would like to see a complex story with a large, likable cast and a general skew towards optimism the way DS9 has, even if there are darker elements.
I have seen books recommended that are like Star Trek, but on the whole I found they are more like TOS or TNG, with a ship travelling from place to place. Like DS9, I was hoping for something in a more fixed location.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Any one know?
Any one know which episode this would've likely been? Sad man that I am, I'm curious 😂

"For The Uniform" is a bizarre episode
Sisko commits a literal war crime and its treated like he's being a badass for it?
I'm on my first watch and I'm going to pretend this episode didn't happen so it doesn't ruin the character for me tbh.

Take me out to the Holosuite
H&I is showing this episode tonight. One of the best episodes in Season 7. Puts a smile on my face every time.

Should Q have made another visit?
And do you agree with Vash? The fact that he actually does know everything is more annoying than just thinking he knows everything?

Did Garek tailor Quarks outfits?
As the fashion icon of the station I was always curious if Garek made any.

Were the Greys jumpsuits or jackets or some futuristic technotextile that could seamlessly blend the two together?

The series finale flashbacks really did Worf dirty
So this is my first time watching and marathoning through TNG and DS9 and it's been a great series. DS9 wrapped up most of its plotlines really well in the final season and sent the main cast off with flashbacks of their happiest memories with the station and their crewmates. O'Brien with Dr. Bashir, Jake Sisko with his father, Odo and Kira, Quark and the bar.
But then it gets to Worf and his best memories are: the time he got captured and tortured by the Breen, when he was controlled by the holosuite, his first time meeting Captain Sisko, and almost losing his fight with Gowron.
Why wasn't there memory with Alexander learning how to be a warrior? How about a fight he was finally allowed to win since this wasn't TNG? And most importantly, why wasn't there a single memory with him and Jadzia? She misses one season and isn't allowed to be brought up in the finale despite elevating Sisko and Worf's character? It's just such a baffling decision in an otherwise great finale.

TOS Trials and Tribble-ations
Ok, someone suggested this on an earlier post: Take the DS9 scenes that match the TOS episode and splice them in. Now you're watching the TOS episode but with DS9 characters in the background.
I was intrigued. I know almost nothing about video editing, but I installed DaVinci Resolve, watched some YouTube videos, asked ChatGPT for help, and gave it a try.
It took me more time to learn Resolve than to make the edits.
Here's what I learned:
Obviously, it doesn't change the story, but adds a "cool" factor.
There were about 15 edits.
DS9 didn't use all of a scene, so sometimes characters disappear. For instance, when Kirk is talking to Baris in the comm panel, Sisko and Dax are missing fir a bit. ChatGPT suggested that I could composite them in, but that's next level for me. Maybe.....
The videos didn't match perfectly, the colors are a bit different. I think the frame rates are different so there are occasional jumps.
The interrogation scene with O'Brien didn't work so well. The timing is off.
I did add Sisko's scene with Kirk, of course.
I would say that if anyone has skill will Resolve, it would be simple and look much better than what I did.
I'm not going to make my work available due to copyright issues, unless someone knows a way to handle that.

My late uncle was a huge Star Trek fan, and had this. What is it?
First image is the folded everything was in. There are actor biographies, photo negatives, and photos included. Even some rolodex cards with phone numbers of the production team. Seems to be some copyright 1998 stamps on some of it.
EDIT: thanks for the replies! I'm going to make sure this gets to a friend of mine who's a big fan.
