More GTA 6 details have been revealed from a private preview held at Rockstar North:
• The appearances of Jason and Lucia at extreme body weight and maximum muscle were shown during the preview, but Mike chose not to reveal what they look like.
• NPCs appear to change depending on the area. Near a gym, a couple was dressed in athletic clothing, while NPCs around Jason and Lucia home area appeared more casual.
• During the gym encounter, a female NPC made negative comments about how Lucia was dressed, leading to a fight. Her boyfriend initially tried to calm the situation down.
• After Lucia knocked the woman out and called Jason over, the boyfriend saw Jason approaching and ran away, leaving her behind.
• NPCs can be approached, greeted or provoked, with different reactions. Mike says this level of interaction stood out even more than the high NPC density.
• Rockstar confirmed during the preview that some characters appearing on the in-game social media feed can also be encountered while exploring the open world.
• Newspapers can be picked up from shelves, opened and flipped through. Mike described them as a type of optional collectible.
• Police vehicle crashes are not scripted. During the demonstration, police tires were shot multiple times, producing different outcomes each time, including cars swerving and flipping over.
• Once free roam becomes available, the map can be freely explored with no regional boundaries. Unexplored areas are initially covered by fog that clears as players visit them.
• Focus mode highlights doors that can be entered. Stores encountered during the demonstration were accessible, although Mike could not confirm that every building can be entered.
• Dying sends the player to a hospital. After being arrested, Mike recalls respawning outside the jail and losing some money. Weapons picked up from the world can be confiscated, while personal weapons remain available in the vehicle trunk.

Idk about the rest of you, but I grew up playing these games. I just turned 29 in July. My dad passed away a year ago in September and he introduced me to everything rockstar games at a very young age lol. My earliest memory is when we would play Vice City together and I would just run around not really knowing what's happening but I loved the shooting and the jet pack. He would even print of cheat codes (back when you had to do that sort of thing) so I can have unlimited weapons. Then came San Andreas and we played 2 player ALL THE TIME, he loved the music, I can't remember the station but it played his favorite band, Hollywood swinging by Kool and the Gang. The radio guy used to crack us up 😂. Then he bought me an Xbox 360 and I played GTA IV with my friends, then GTA V too, and all these years in between he would still play San Andreas on PS2 😂 but man I wish I could go back to that, I loved pops and now I'm entering into yet another year of GTA but this time he won't be around at all. I really hope they put that retro station in again, and I hope to one day see him again. Thank you Rockstar Games and thank you Dad 💙
* UPDATE
- thank you all for your kind words and your own stories. I also realized the station is BounceFM 💙. This is what gaming is all about to me, and this is why rockstar is such a great franchise. The generational impact it has. My dad was a baby boomer who loved video games, specifically Rockstar and Madden series. The responses to this post show how great this community is, love you guys and I pray we all make it to the release.

It isn’t only Jason & Lucia who can’t see what’s coming. Neither can we.
For years, GTA VI has existed somewhere in the distance while our own lives kept moving. We grew up. We changed. We lost people, met new ones, took hits, and kept going, all while waiting. We watched every trailer, paused every frame, made theories, argued about characters, and imagined what this game would become. Without realizing it, the wait became a small part of our lives.
And one day, that wait will finally be over. We’ll experience this world for the first time, discover its story, meet its characters, laugh at it, be surprised by it, and make memories that belong to us. But even those moments will eventually become old memories. The first time we booted it up. The first night we stayed up playing. The people we shared it with. We’ll never get to experience any of it for the first time again. That’s what makes this ending so bittersweet to me. We spend so much of our lives looking toward whatever comes next that we rarely notice when we’re living through something we’ll eventually miss. We don’t know what’s waiting for us on the horizon. We don’t know which ordinary day will someday feel extraordinary simply because we can’t have it back.
Enjoy it while it lasts. The game, the anticipation, the people around us, the life we’re living right now. If we could pause time and stay in these good, quiet moments forever, life would be perfect, but we can’t see what’s coming, and that’s exactly why the present is so precious.
Someday, GTA VI will be an old game we’ve moved on from. We’ll be older too. We’ll have different lives, different people, different worries, and different dreams. Some of the people we’re sharing these moments with today may no longer be here. We’ll remember the day we finally played it, but we might also remember these years before it ever came out, when so much of our future was still unknown.
So thank you, Rockstar, for giving so many of us something to look forward to through entire chapters of our lives. Something to experience together. Something that will give us memories we’ll carry long after the waiting is over.
❤️

I guess it’s necessary because of the current hardware 🥀

Damn shame. But I think the map is much better than people think. It's very evenly spaced out and will not doubt be so dense and well structured that it will feel gigantic.
Rockstar mastered the map in RDR 2 and I wouldnt he surprised if they bumped it up here

Mikeshowsha saw Rob Nelson do it in free roam while escaping from the police.
It was also specified that they won't always flip over and different things will happen, because it's physics-based.
I hope you enjoyed my post 🧡💜

I know it's all funny to say the strip club and what not.
But seriously tho, what is the first thing that you guys are actually planning to do as soon as we get free-roam??
My plans are to explore Vice city as much as I can, I will explore the other areas later.
But my first absolute thing is to try and see how difficult it is to steal a fighter jet if it is even possible to steal one. and also check out the airport.
what are your plans??
What

We haven't seen much about the military vehicles so far, this is the first one I've spotted in the game. Probably the Airport Security? Like the National Guard?
I'd love to learn more about the 6 stars wanted level and learn more about what vehicles the National Guard or Military could be using.

The tapetum lucidum is made up of tiny crystals that reflect light back out of the eye. When a beam of light enters the eye, it travels through the lens and onto the retina, where it is converted into electrical impulses that the brain can interpret. However, some of the light that enters the eye is not absorbed by the retina and instead reflects off the tapetum lucidum, creating a glowing effect. This is why dogs’ eyes appear to glow when light is shone on them in low light condition.
Them folks over there at Rockstar are nuts.

Hi Guys,
Super hyped for this game, so much that I've rewatched the extended look trailer quite a bit. Trying to find any bit of information I can get my hands on. So based on the information that we have from TGG's interview with Rockstar North Lead dev, we know that refueling is in the game and that charging electric vehicles is in there to.
So watching the trailer (and the couple of 1000 video's on youtube with 150 details you've missed kind of style), I've noticed a detail that I haven't come across yet. These seem to be charging points located in the parking garage where the getaway vehicle is stored.
Knowing Rockstar, probably fully functional. Just a nice little detail I like to share.
Less then a few months now untill release! Can't wait!

I think the pictures make it pretty obvious what I’m planning to do in Vice City.

Surely there has to be some kind of 24 hour challenge. Even fan created bring in a list of cars to a fence.
Starting today, September 1st, and continuing until the release of GTA VI, we will be posting one GTA Wiki article related to the upcoming game every day.

I personally think I'm gonna explore how character hangouts will work in GTA 6. I've been playing 5 for the last couple days to get ready for the next game, and tbh, the hangout system is wayyy too plain, there's only like 3 sites you can visit before dying in a violent shootout and paying your buddies' hospital bills.
I'm really hoping we have a lot more places to visit in 6, and most importantly, an improvement in the dialogues. I wanna pull up in a commercial plane and make my buddies freak out.
If the game lets me, I'm probably gonna be ballin with Lucia, Jason and Carl in the beach house tbh.

Was watching the gameplay trailer and noticed that when the player goes to switch their player character, each character's current position on the morality scale (RDR2 Honour track) is shown.
I am curious to see if misalignment between Jason and Lucia leads to interpersonal issues with their relationship or impacts the course of the third act.
