Seems like I'm too inept for this, as a piece of the head crest snapped off while I was screwing the torso in and wasn't looking where I held it in place. I hope I can manage to improve my fix somehow.

The instruction states that you need to turn part B)1 in order to fit it into the arm yet for me it is a complete ly solid piece that has no joints. Without turning it you cannot fit it into the grooves.

I’d like to take these fingers and separate the middle finger cause I am a man-child. Any tool recommendations so I don’t mangle the absolute hell outta of it?

First time building metal frame kit, why Bandai don't use metal frame? It's pretty good.

The build itself was fine. There were some defective parts, and many parts were too tight.

You're supposed to build a giant snake thing too, but i look at the building process in the manual and went "nope"

I've recently picked up a can of Vallejo varnish so I can work on my kit but even after fully drying out for 2+ hours the varnish scratches off very easily, even with fingernails.

Would you recommend another varnish or is there a way to reinforce it?

So, I started making these Two Page "Reviews" but they are more like documentation of my opinion of a kit. The plan is to print them out physically and keep them in a file.

That way, I will have my personal Album of my Gunpla kits.

No.2 is because I wanted to make a website or an app where you can easily accomplish this because I find this time-consuming and tedious but I enjoy it.

It will start off as a "put photos and get a glorified collage" type website but I want to make basically a mini-photoshop with focus making documents like these.

Also, English is not my first language so let me know if there are any mistakes or how I can improve.

Just building this kit was a massive time investment but damn if it isnt glorious. Now on to painting 😵‍💫

Anyone who knows would understand xD

So I'm in the middle of a bit of a building fugue last night. Going through the motions, putting everything in a MG VKa Hi-Nu leg together. It's fun, I close out the night just needing to armor it up and I can attach the foot.

As I go to attach the foot today, I notice something weird. Just a big square hole. I look in the other leg, unarmored and the one I did first. I left out P-15, the bit that actually holds the foot in place and now the leg is literally covered in the armor that keeps it all nice and squozen and it looks great but trying to get the rubber part inside is not happening. Armor doesn't want to come off. So.

How can I fix this without cutting P-15 into pieces and basically gluing that foot in place?

After Building the HG ground gundam I figured the HG Ez8 would be very similar and just as good. So when I found one clearanced at Michaels I figured why not.

The look of this kit is pretty nice and clean. A lot of the parts come together to produce a nice armored look.

I really like a lot of the intricacies in the armor and the head especially that really sell the kit and with minimal color correction it’s nice even out of the box.

The big thing is the parachute unit which I really want to get another unit for my ground gundam now!! It’s so cool!

Unfortunately that’s kinda where my positives end and the mehs start. That freaking head though is a hate, idk if I assembled something wrong but like the boy can’t look up to save his life.

The mobility on this suit seems quite reduced from its mass production counterpart especially the arms. Posing with the rifle was wrestling with a rhino, it just won’t budge at times.

Combine that with leg armor held on by a prayer in the back and stiff knee joints it’s just meh.

So yeah looks nice but I’m not going to pose this one much.

Edit: someone pointed out that the Ez8 is not a revive kit like the ground gundam is so that 5 years of time between the reason for the large difference in design quality.

Pay attention to the elbow joint of this kit when posing, people always talk about the shoulder joint but never this joint as a point of failure

HG rising freedom & immortal justice

So I picked up an mgex strike freedom from a collector, he said its been in backlog for over a year.
Now I also bought a new one on amazon, but it looks different.
Can someone help me with this? im so confused because of the color difference.

Fold out knuckle dusters with an affect piece, actually fist hands, duel revolvers, a surfboard shield he can ride, an armor purge form with better articulation and huge boxing gloves.

All wrapped up in a bold, campy, yet incredible design that just makes you wanna say "Hell Yeah".

Not the cleanest one out there 😂
