Discussion Togashi wants us to forget about this fella
Not only have they not appeared in almost 50 chapters, but the plot of them lurking the class is a lot less exciting and important now that there's no class (at the moment), and the story is so interesting with all these factions going crazy that nobody cares about some class assassin
I think this is super intentional from Togashi, and because the ability itself is nothing impressive, I think the identity of the assassin is very important and that's why this plot was left hanging for so long, perhaps it is Belerainte and he's a major Beyond children who will betray the hunters, or the maid theory is real and one of the maids is Don Freecs on a dress. I just don't want them to be a nobody in the grand scheme of things since they've been attacking Woble the longest, so it kinda feels like they should be one of the main villains

Discussion Such a great character development.
Meruem had such a great character development. Just finished epi 134 where he recalls his more important piece of memories.
Absolutely on point character development. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Am so glad that I picked this anime up to watch after such long contemplation, totally worth it.

Latest Chapter Based on Chapter 419: it is IMPOSSIBLE that Tserri's Ability can predict the future Spoiler
It all comes down the 36m range.
Let's consider that the Tserri that the people see inside the zone is the 'FAKE' Tserri and actual Tserri is the 'REAL' one.
The crux of the issue is that Laplace's Demon CANNOT predict the actions the of REAL Tserri, only the FAKE Tserri. And since people who enter the zone after the ability is activated can see and react to the REAL Tserri, their actions are also therefore completely unpredictable.
An example:
Imagine we give Usain Bolt an AK47 and say to him: 'Run as fast as you can towards the 4th prince and when you get close to him shoot him'
If Bolt was exactly 37m away from Tserri when the ability activates he would be completely unaffected by the ability. He would be able to see the REAL Tserri and would not see the FAKE Tserri.
If he is 37m away from Tserri Bolt would take about 3 seconds to reach the centre of zone where Tserri is.
But the question is: what would Tserri see in the 10 second vision of the 'future'?
OPTION 1
VISION: After 3 seconds Bolt gets close to Tserri and shoots the FAKE Tserri standing where he is.
REAL LIFE: Tserri sees the vision and tries to make an evasive action (moves to the left).
But BOLT CAN SEE THE REAL TSERRI. So he shoots Tserri after he has moved to the left.
Already Bolt is doing something different to the predicted 'future'!
OPTION 2
VISION: After 3 seconds Bolt gets to Tserri and shoots the REAL Tserri moving to the left. (This would probably appear as Bolt shooting at thin air in the vision ignoring the FAKE Tserri)
REAL LIFE: Tserri thinks 'he will shoot at something on the left so I will go to the right!'
But BOLT CAN SEE THE REAL TSERRI. So he shoots Tserri after he has moved to the RIGHT.
In the vision Bolt shoots left, in real life he shoots right.
This can apply to direction Tserri decides to move in.
A true Laplace demon must know the conditions of every particle in the universe to predict the future, if you only know the conditions of everything within 36m a true prediction of the future is impossible.
You have been hoodwinked by a generational fraud.

Analysis/Theory My Tonpa theory that didn’t pan out.
Watching the show, I thought Tonpa was going to be forced to pass the exam and therefore be locked out of crushing rookies. It would be the ultimate punishment.
(Unless of course he becomes an examiner)

Misc 10 Seconds Of Peak
The 10 seconds of the Palace Invasion is one of the greatest examples of Hunter × Hunter's storytelling. In real time, only ten seconds pass, yet every character makes life-changing decisions simultaneously. Netero instantly executes a plan to separate the strongest threat, while Zeno unleashes Dragon Dive to create chaos and open the battlefield. Gon immediately changes course, taking Knuckle's position as a precaution in case Knuckle is caught in Dragon Dive's barrage. Killua instantly reads the battlefield and adjusts his movement to protect the mission, reacting faster than anyone else around him. Meanwhile, Knuckle and Shoot witness the fearless determination of two kids who are barely half their age, and that courage reignites their own resolve. Inspired by Gon and Killua's willingness to risk everything, they overcome their hesitation and launch their attack against Youpi without holding back. At the same time, Pitou detects the invasion and must choose in a fraction of a second between protecting the King or eliminating the intruders. These ten seconds aren't just about incredible speed—they're about instinct, strategy, sacrifice, and split-second decisions that permanently change the fate of everyone inside the palace.

Discussion A reminder Parriston was lying and he is by no means weak
I see people to this day call Parriston weak and some even theorize that he has no nen at all, this always comes from that dialogue where he says he is weaker than the rest of the Zodiacs.
This was obviously a lie or an exaggeration to manipulate the elections, Parriston later in the story say the opposite to Ging and in that case he had no reason to lie.
Lets not forget this guy is in the group of the strongest hunters and is one of the only 3 star hunters in the world.

Discussion A question for those who say the Kurta massacre would be “out of character” for the Phantom Troupe
A common take among Spider fans and apologists who doubt their involvement is that something like the Kurta Clan massacre would be going too even for the Phantom Troupe. And to that I ask just what the hell are you basing that off of??? As far I as I recall they have not once shown concern about the well being of anyone outside of the Troupe or Meteor City, and we literally have seen countless examples showing literally the opposite, that they do not give a single fuck about them and will do whatever to them in order to get what they want. Like Feitan literally about to torture Gon(and don’t even fucking give me the “oH bUt GOn wAs a tHrEaT tO tHeM” bullshit, they were way stronger than him at the time, and Feitan could have gotten the answers from Paku who was right there), and I don’t even gotta mention all the times we seen them murder innocent people.
We can even go as and let’s say we push the extra alleged details of the massacre aside, whether there was more to it or not, and assume the Kurta eyes were valuable and Chrollo genuinely wanted them. Is there anything suggesting they wouldn’t go through with that and be like “nah we can’t do this, this is too cruel”??? Especially the blatantly sadistic characters like Uvogin, and Feitan who explicitly loves torturing.
I genuinely do not understand where the people who say the Kurta Clan massacre would be too extreme for the Phantom Troupe are coming from with that.

Latest Chapter About tserri's nen beasts Spoiler
From what we see, tserri has two nen beatst : the one from the king contest that cursed theta and the one coming from his own nen ability.
So correct me if I am wrong, tserri should be able to see the one from his own nen ability but not the other ?
It's where I would like clarification because in my mind none of the prince can see their nen beast but idk if it's just me that made it up and it was only because of most of them not knowing nen. If so then tserri can see the other nen beast too ?
Kinda seems a stupid question sorry ahaha

Discussion Why do I feel there’s more nervous energy for Chrollo than Hisoka for the rematch?
It doesn’t make much logical sense but I just have this feeling of incoming dread? But it’s not logical.
Chrollo obliterated Hisoka in the fight & is now pissed off due to what happened to his members. From a meta perspective it’s kinda like another edge because now he’s doing the anime “avenging my friends etc.” but Hisoka’s pissed too so idk. I just have this vibe that Hisoka is still the predator in their dynamic
Maybe it’s the “way” he won? Like how he made sure to keep a distance because he was probably worried about what Hisoka could do to him?
Just read it so sorry for the rambling. I just know that in 99% of other shows I’d be more worried for Hisoka
