Tickets Discussion Autocup scheme question

I was fortunate to be enrolled into the league cup scheme this season (with 1 visit last year). The next match against Tottenham has been drawn already and hospitality is on sale, but I didn’t get any emails or notifications at all.

When does the scheme ticket auto purchase typically happen?

p.s. I live in London so would like to get train tickets asap, but not sure if I will get the match tickets?

Víctor Muñoz wins MOTM again! (224 ratings)

  1. Muñoz (7.78)
  2. Wirtz (7.42)
  3. Gakpo (6.82)

Iraola started Mac Allister instead of Gravenberch from your picked XI in the last game.

This time, your starting XI for next game is Alisson; Szoboszlai, Jacquet, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Muñoz, Wirtz, Gakpo; Isak. That's a couple changes (dropping Frimpong, putting Szoboszlai at RB, and starting Gravenberch again).

Where will we finish?
1st: 3.9%
2nd: 1.9%
3rd: 12.6%
4th: 37.7%
5th: 32.9%
<=6th: 11.1%

Would you lower expectations results-wise if performances improve?
52.4% said no, 47.6% said they would.
The question's intention was asking if our playstyle got better, would you accept having a worse season than the subreddit set as expectations (it was 5th place, 69 points, QFs all comps).

Do you approve of Iraola as manager?
96.7% said yes (compared to 100% previously in the YNWSA prediction form)

Always scores at Anfield but sucks away, or always scores away but sucks at Anfield?
Always scores at Anfield: 56%
Always scores away: 44%

Do you want the serious thread back?
Yes: 36.5%
No: 14.2%
N/A: 49.3%

Next time, I'll add another button for you to skip the questions after the subs.

Monthly summary:
July best player: Nyoni (7.95)
August best player: Jacquet (7.27)

If we're just talking about the 2 PL games however, Munoz wins it since he won your MOTM both times.

Analysis/Data/Stats/Tactics How the Subreddit Rated Players: The Distributions (LIV 2 - 2 NFO)

On the latest player ratings, there were quite a few comments about how a few players seemed to have harsh ratings, so I'll let you guys see how the distribution for those players were.

I'll start with Alisson (6.26) as a control group because, well, there's not really any agenda for him. There were 224 ratings, with the majority of those being a 6 or lower. Most of the ratings were between 4 and 8.

Kerkez (4.05) was the most talked about rating being too low, and "it seems like many people are still basing their opinions of him on the first half of last season". The majority of his ratings were below a 4, generally between 2 and 6, but a substantial amount of people gave him 0s and 1s. It's one of the only ones where the distribution has a tail to the left.

Gakpo (6.82) was another talked about rating, and even if you take away the 1 person who gave him a 0, he would then be at 6.85, but it seems like most people agreed he was a 7 or better. More people just gave him 5-6s than 8-9s, though I think 5 is pretty harsh on him. Definitely more positive than last season's, though I'd argue his performances were even better than this.

Mac Allister (5.63), removing the few who gave him 3s or lower, would be at 5.75... which is still pretty low. The majority gave him a 6 or lower, with more 5s than 7s or higher. He had quite a wide distribution.

Van Dijk (6.09) seemed fair to me, but someone thought it was harsh.

Isak (5.75) had a very interesting distribution, with multiple people on both ends of the spectrum giving extreme ratings.

Muñoz (7.78) had someone wondering why he won MOTM, so here's his distribution.

And Wirtz's (7.42). Notice how some people gave Wirtz lower scores compared to Muñoz, who no one gave less than a 6 to.

So, there you go. Hope this sheds some light on what some people have been doing. I can't do this every game, (because I've got other things to do) but if there's another ratings post where multiple people are wondering how some players got unfair ratings, I can make another installment.

If this was shown to most of us the summer we only signed Chiesa, we’d have ripped your arm off. Yet it still feels we haven’t invested enough. Let’s support the boys we do have and not take it for granted.

Unreal signings. Just additional decent ones with some depth would’ve made an immense impact and let these guys even more loose. YNWA

Note from the mods :

We had a bet going about transfers. Nobody won that bet.

However, the prize for winning was an organisation of the sub however they wanted. We eventually settled on allowing the sub to burn and run wild despite everyone losing that bet.

So for the entire day of Wednesday the 2nd of September 2026 will henceforth be ‘Shitpost day.’

Aka, post whatever you want (within reason) and let the sub burn. We mods will take a step back (within reason) and let the sub go wild (within reason)

Have fun lads đŸ«Ą

Social Media [Fabrice Hawkins] You have to see the sadness in Paris after Bradley Barcola's departure. Usually after a transfer for 145 million euros, the clubs throw a party. That's not the case here. A lot of respect between the two parties at the moment of parting ways. An example.

Tier: Bermuda Triangle [Hamed] - Camara had asked to leave. His representatives passed along the info. And he changed his mind not so long ago for 2 reasons. First the coach but also the fact that his choice is Liverpool him rather than Chelsea...

Tier 3 🚹 An update on Jayden Danns: he is going to remain at Liverpool with the aim of showing he can contribute for Andoni Iraola. It’s a significant, too, as if the 134-year sequence of a local player representing the club is to continue, Danns will be the one to do it.
