Guys, I want to share a Draft Class I created. Every single player is a real prospect, with their actual measurements (height and weight) and the school they attended. You wonāt find skinny linemen, Black players who are white and vice versa, or anything like that. I also edited every playerās gear to match what they wear in their college games (as closely as Madden 27 allows, obviously), and I edited each player to look as close to their real-life appearance as possibleāagain, within the limitations of Madden 27.
This is a hand-built roster, although I didnāt start completely from scratch. I used a previously created roster by Mrsourhead called 2027REALISTIC. His Jeremiah Smith looks incredible, so all credit to him specifically for J-Smith. The issue was that only a handful of players had actually been edited, while everyone else had the same generic model, no gloves, the same size, weight, etc. On top of that, many of the players from the fourth round onward were fictional.
So I took it upon myself to go through the roster one player at a time, find the actual real-life prospects, add them, and edit them with the correct information, likeness, game-day gear, height, and weight.
Itās completely free, guys. I made this for the people who love getting into even the smallest details and want to experience the game as realistically as possible. It took me six days to put together.
Iām sharing a picture of the file so you can find it, download it, and let me know what you think.
I must say⦠Youāll only find two fictional players in the entire class.
The first is a TE that the game wouldnāt let me edit the equipment for. I named him John Doe, put him at Harvard, and gave him a ridiculous age of 40 so he wouldnāt become an issue.
The second one⦠is me š. I created myself as a Long Snapper from my favorite school (youāll be able to figure out which one). And why did I do it? Because I can. š
Every other player is real. Every single one. Real fullbacks, long snappers, punters, kickers, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and skill-position players. Every one of them was manually edited to look as close to their real-life counterpart as possible.
A few notes:
a) For some reason, when you go into āTeam Practice,ā many of the created players look skinny and all the same size, like the classic ābody morph glitch.ā But once you actually get into a game, they all have their respective body types and heights.
b) If someone has, say, 99 Speed, theyāll look and play like someone who actually has 99 Speed. And likewise, someone with 0 Speed will run like someone with 0 Speed. All the ratings have been verified in actual gameplay.
c) I intentionally left out some prospects (especially QBs), such as Arch Manning, LaNorris Sellers, Sam Leavitt or Bo Jackson, just to name a few, because I firmly believe they wonāt declare for the upcoming draft. Iām working on the 2028 Draft Class, where I plan to add them.
d) Every player, from QB all the way down to LS (except for the two fictional players mentioned earlier in the class), has the jersey number they wear in college. A lot of draft classes assign players numbers based on their position. For example, if you wore #1 in college and youāre an EDGE, theyāll automatically give you #91. In this class, every player has their actual college number.
Enjoy it, guys. And thanks for checking it out! š„
