I been playing Madden since Madden 92 on Sega Genesis. This is the first Madden on the Frostbite engine where the gameplay doesn't annoy the hell out of me. Not since Madden 15 have I had this much fun playing. BUT Franchise mode games are still basically play now games.
How did the developers think having the same intro every game was a good idea lol. I'm a Giants fan they show LT every game even in the pre-season. I'm not sure if these guys watch or like football. Playoff games have no juice or intensity. Franchise games are not unique to your team like I said it's basically play now. Team strengths and weaknesses aren't highlighted. Division games, Playoff games should be different experiences. Game is soulless which is a shame because they made big improvements..

Guys, I want to share a Draft Class I created. Every single player is a real prospect, with their actual measurements (height and weight) and the school they attended. You wonāt find skinny linemen, Black players who are white and vice versa, or anything like that. I also edited every playerās gear to match what they wear in their college games (as closely as Madden 27 allows, obviously), and I edited each player to look as close to their real-life appearance as possibleāagain, within the limitations of Madden 27.
This is a hand-built roster, although I didnāt start completely from scratch. I used a previously created roster by Mrsourhead called 2027REALISTIC. His Jeremiah Smith looks incredible, so all credit to him specifically for J-Smith. The issue was that only a handful of players had actually been edited, while everyone else had the same generic model, no gloves, the same size, weight, etc. On top of that, many of the players from the fourth round onward were fictional.
So I took it upon myself to go through the roster one player at a time, find the actual real-life prospects, add them, and edit them with the correct information, likeness, game-day gear, height, and weight.
Itās completely free, guys. I made this for the people who love getting into even the smallest details and want to experience the game as realistically as possible. It took me six days to put together.
Iām sharing a picture of the file so you can find it, download it, and let me know what you think.
I must say⦠Youāll only find two fictional players in the entire class.
The first is a TE that the game wouldnāt let me edit the equipment for. I named him John Doe, put him at Harvard, and gave him a ridiculous age of 40 so he wouldnāt become an issue.
The second one⦠is me š. I created myself as a Long Snapper from my favorite school (youāll be able to figure out which one). And why did I do it? Because I can. š
Every other player is real. Every single one. Real fullbacks, long snappers, punters, kickers, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and skill-position players. Every one of them was manually edited to look as close to their real-life counterpart as possible.
A few notes:
a) For some reason, when you go into āTeam Practice,ā many of the created players look skinny and all the same size, like the classic ābody morph glitch.ā But once you actually get into a game, they all have their respective body types and heights.
b) If someone has, say, 99 Speed, theyāll look and play like someone who actually has 99 Speed. And likewise, someone with 0 Speed will run like someone with 0 Speed. All the ratings have been verified in actual gameplay.
c) I intentionally left out some prospects (especially QBs), such as Arch Manning, LaNorris Sellers, Sam Leavitt or Bo Jackson, just to name a few, because I firmly believe they wonāt declare for the upcoming draft. Iām working on the 2028 Draft Class, where I plan to add them.
d) Every player, from QB all the way down to LS (except for the two fictional players mentioned earlier in the class), has the jersey number they wear in college. A lot of draft classes assign players numbers based on their position. For example, if you wore #1 in college and youāre an EDGE, theyāll automatically give you #91. In this class, every player has their actual college number.
Enjoy it, guys. And thanks for checking it out! š„

This is the first year of my Raiders franchise by the way
The Texans Trade:
Nico Collins
ā28 3rd Rounder
ā28 5th Rounder
ā28 7th Rounder
Texans Receive:
Chris Lindstrom
THEN THE NEXT WEEK
The 49ers Trade:
Nick Bosa
ā28 2nd Rounder
ā28 7th Rounder
49ers Receive:
Chris Lindstrom
This means that after being traded in back to back weeks, Chris Lindstrom alone got teams:
Nico Collins
Nick Bosa
ā28 2nd Rounder
ā28 3rd Rounder
ā28 5th Rounder
(2) ā28 7th Rounders
I only noticed because I saw Nick Bosa got traded to the Texans and thought they traded Danielle Hunter for him, nope. They just have all 3 now.

It is actually silly how bad pass blocking is. Every single play someone goes unblocked. Blitzes are absolutely broken and the computer knows it and always blitzes. I average .4 seconds per play until my QB is being sacked.
Short of carking pass blocking slider to 100, what do I actually do?

I got tired of fantasy draft classes full of made-up players, so I built something that generates a real one instead. Pick a year, and you get that entire draft as an importable .mdc.
What it does
GitHub ā download + screenshots
Windows only. The installer isn't code-signed, so SmartScreen will warn you ā More info ā Run anyway.
Happy to take requests. If you spot a player who looks wrong, tell me who and I'll fix it.

Is it me or is it very difficult to find generational talents now? Especially in quarterbacks, I have done many simulations and it is rare to see some qb with more than 90 speed

We all have that one player who plays better than their overall, but who have you had play worse than their rating?
So I am playing an offline franchise with the Titans in Madden 27. It could just be me, but Cam Ward in this game is utter dogshit. I had a 4 TD game with him in Week 1, but since then, he's been allergic to the end zone and has been on a skid of 8 INTs thrown in his last 4. This last game, he threw 3 and all at the worst possible fucking times as we lost to goddamn Deshaun Watson (Dak was hurt). Of course this was the one time he could actually hit the broad side of the barn and half of his passes weren't getting deflected. Mind you, I'm only on Pro difficulty. I have nothing against him IRL, but when I play with him in Madden, he turns into a goddamn pumpkin.

Dumb question. I got Madden 26 at the end of last season for cheap and havenāt touched it much other than franchise. How do I literally just play simple competitor H2H online. When I hit āonline H2Hā it only gives me play with friends. I have game pass premium

Ok I just finished season 1 of my franchise and most of offseason. Why is the draft logic so bugged? Carolina and Houston drafted top 15 quarterbacks in the draft. For why? Both there current starters (young and stroud) have QB of the future tags? There is also only about a two overall rating point difference between the two.

Iāve been playing madden a very long time. Obviously, thereās been a downturn in quality thatās been evident dating back to probably the 7th gen consoles (PS3, 360).
But this version has been more than challenging, and for this post Iāll merely inquire about the passing. Iām a big franchise mode player, and nowadays I really only have time to play on offense. SuperSimming defense and pass blocking are issues I have as well, but why in the world is it so hard to complete a pass?
The receivers get touched, drop. Accuracy at best is inconsistent even if youāre throwing from a clean pocket, good footwork, receiver open, etc. Route running seems to be in the same boat, Iāve seen below average overall CBs lock up receivers like itās Revis Island. I donāt want it to be insanely easy, but I donāt want it to be impossible either. I have tinkered around with sliders, coaching adjustments, playbooks, I have raised and lowered player overalls/attributes and itās the same results. Iāve gone down difficulties as well but it just makes it stupid easy.
Are scripted animations in gameplay superseding player overalls, momentum, etc? Is the AI to the point to where itās just doing whatever it takes to beat you? I just donāt understand. If someone has some slider set ups that may help or something Iām missing, Iām all ears.

So I love the good ol nickel - 33 formation, aka the old school 335 normal. It's unfortunately only in like 5 playbooks - all alternate ones, which I dont really like the rest of the stuff in them as much.
Anyways, just downloaded the game, and started a franchise and I am using the Giants defense, for sure had it selected prior to game 1. Somehow to my surprise, Nickel 33 was in there. In my next game, it was nowhere to be found, but I had like 34 bear or something with a different name than the database shows online.
So I'm confused, is this something about the playsheets thing I saw once?? What else do I need to know about new changes to franchise mode if I havent played in a few years? Also, can I change my imported draft class once selected?

Iām thinking maybe 94 overall with a X-Factor.
