It is actually silly how bad pass blocking is. Every single play someone goes unblocked. Blitzes are absolutely broken and the computer knows it and always blitzes. I average .4 seconds per play until my QB is being sacked.

Short of carking pass blocking slider to 100, what do I actually do?

So I love the good ol nickel - 33 formation, aka the old school 335 normal. It's unfortunately only in like 5 playbooks - all alternate ones, which I dont really like the rest of the stuff in them as much.

Anyways, just downloaded the game, and started a franchise and I am using the Giants defense, for sure had it selected prior to game 1. Somehow to my surprise, Nickel 33 was in there. In my next game, it was nowhere to be found, but I had like 34 bear or something with a different name than the database shows online.

So I'm confused, is this something about the playsheets thing I saw once?? What else do I need to know about new changes to franchise mode if I havent played in a few years? Also, can I change my imported draft class once selected?

I’m thinking maybe 94 overall with a X-Factor.

I don’t care what EA comes out and says about next year. I will never purchase another Madden for the rest of my life. I’ve skipped the last two because yknow it’s Madden. But I figured this year I’d give it a shot. $70 down the drain. How is technology better than ever before I can’t play this game for more than 30min without it crashing? Oh yeah because this dogshit, scum of the earth corporation just keeps stacking code on top of code without actually fixing anything. The main menus are so fucking laggy, the announcers say the wrong names, hurry up offense is broken in super star mode. There’s more issues I’ve encountered that I can’t think of off the top of my head as well.
I LITERALLY can’t believe they got away with releasing this game for $70 I genuinely feel robbed

Played a guy that would go under center play action bunch formation and send Jameson Williams or gibbs on verts. No matter what my safeties would bite on the PA and get burnt. Tried setting them up very deep, predicted pass, no deep passes, corner matchups by speed etc and nothing worked. Blitz couldn't get there in time. Gibbs or Williams would have 2 steps on everyone no matter what. Has anyone experienced this and what is the solution?

In my franchise I benched all my star players during the preseason. Started the regular season and they all wanted trades. I just delegated it bc I didn’t feel like cancelling each single one.

Well now I get trade offers every week and it carried over to the following season. I went to the player card, no option there to remove them. Nothing in the trade menu either.

any idea what I’m missing?

I’ve been playing madden a very long time. Obviously, there’s been a downturn in quality that’s been evident dating back to probably the 7th gen consoles (PS3, 360).

But this version has been more than challenging, and for this post I’ll merely inquire about the passing. I’m a big franchise mode player, and nowadays I really only have time to play on offense. SuperSimming defense and pass blocking are issues I have as well, but why in the world is it so hard to complete a pass?

The receivers get touched, drop. Accuracy at best is inconsistent even if you’re throwing from a clean pocket, good footwork, receiver open, etc. Route running seems to be in the same boat, I’ve seen below average overall CBs lock up receivers like it’s Revis Island. I don’t want it to be insanely easy, but I don’t want it to be impossible either. I have tinkered around with sliders, coaching adjustments, playbooks, I have raised and lowered player overalls/attributes and it’s the same results. I’ve gone down difficulties as well but it just makes it stupid easy.

Are scripted animations in gameplay superseding player overalls, momentum, etc? Is the AI to the point to where it’s just doing whatever it takes to beat you? I just don’t understand. If someone has some slider set ups that may help or something I’m missing, I’m all ears.

This is The single worst madden I’ve ever played. Playing H2H is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Player speeds are obsolete due to the fact that secondary players can “hand fight” or just plane and simple hold you the whole way down the field, quarterbacks are extremely in accurate, corners need to be nerfed in speed and coverage abilities. They punish speed players like Gibbs.

This is an awful game. 26 was the most fun I’ve ever had in madden I just can’t believe the massive step back this game has taken. I won’t be touching this game unless a massive patch comes in and fixes everything

I enjoyed 26 but 27 has been awful so far for online h2h. Guys don’t follow their assignments or stick to called coverages, same old crossing route problems but worse than last year and I’ve never once seen a DPI call in about 50 played games. The amount of INTs and drops is silly too.

This year’s game is just not fun and feels completely like AI is doing 99% of the “work” which is inconsistent to say the least. Super disappointed that they’ve managed to make the game feel worse and I don’t know much about game programming or physics engines but it doesn’t feel at all like playing football. What a bore. I may just sell it on marketplace for $50 and go back to 26 as it was more enjoyable despite its flaws.

There's a fair amount of data in the franchise export once you start looking. Way more than what shows up in the game itself.

Feels like there's a lot of room to actually dig into how a franchise is really performing, beyond just the basic numbers.

Anyone spent time in there? curious what people have found, or if there's stuff you've noticed.

Dumb question. I got Madden 26 at the end of last season for cheap and haven’t touched it much other than franchise. How do I literally just play simple competitor H2H online. When I hit “online H2H” it only gives me play with friends. I have game pass premium

Whats the difference between the 'Purple' Franchise Points and the 'Green' Franchise Points?

The green points seem to be for Coaching Abilities. I have 450 Purple Franchise Points and i havent used them once/ . Are they for Ultimate Team only?

Kicking has changed in some games but I have missed every single kick and don’t dream of kicking a field goal, how do you do this new meter? The only time I see it is on head to head and I just can’t get it down.

I was stunned the replay is even crazier.. Wondering if anyone has seen that this year yet...

I’m doing play the moments and decided to watch the halftime show, it began to show the first highlight and my sound went out and it froze for a second so I backed out to just get back to my game. The screen began to back out showing “halftime report” but is stuck there and the announcers are now covering a COMPLETELY different game. It’s covering the game that it was trying to show highlights for. I can’t see anything but I hear them saying “jets” and “Lawrence” and that’s not my game. It’s almost impressive how wrong and how bad this game can be. I don’t even know how this happens.

As ttile says as NMS player(EA PRO edition) where can i upgrade my team cheaper.as half seahawk chem.Can upgrade ovr a bit more but currently trying upgrade some cards and unreal chem.

so you know how when you call a play during a game, it shows you how many times you have called that play throughout the game or season in total? has anyone experienced where it keeps resetting to 0 no matter how many times you call the play. Half the plays reset back to 0. For me it's annoying because I like to call different plays. if you have experienced this, have you been able to fix it? if so how?
