This is very bad news for the Mariners. Kroenke has field champions with the LA Rams, Denver Nuggets and Colorado avalanche. While the angels will still need a complete overhaul the team will be in much better shape and contumely well run under the Kroenke family. The A’s and Mariners ownership will run far behind that of the Angels, Astros and Rangers

I'm in the Midwest but have been an M's fan since I was a kid and lived in the PNW. For his birthday, my son wanted to fly to Seattle, go to an M's game, and see the gum wall (of all things). To surprise him, I bought a brick this year that says "maybe next year." I'm actually surprised they approved it.
Is there an easy way to find it? Do they have an online locator or something? I think I read there is a kiosk on site that can help, but I'm hoping to be more proactive so I'm not dealing with crowds. Thanks!

Hey M’s fans! I’m an Angels fan who is going to be in Seattle on Friday night and thought I’d catch the game against the A’s. I’m wondering if there are any sites for tickets that are better than SeatGeek or the MLB site. We have one for the Angels that’s local (714Tickets) so I figured I’d see if there was anything up there.
Thanks guys! Good luck the rest of the way! My Halos obviously suck so I’d rather see you guys make some noise than anyone else in our division.
Edit: YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! Thanks for the suggestions.

Or if you don’t want them fired, explain why. I believe either opinion has merit.

They are currently 6 games back now.
Remaining SOS schedule for the west...
Seattle .420 (BOS, ATH, TEX, ATH, LAA, COL, HOU, LAA)
Houston .510 (CHW, AZ, PHI, TB, KC, ATL, SEA, ATH)
Texas .501 (ATH, TB, SEA, AZ, BOS, TOR, NYM, MIN)
Sure the odds are a measly 12.1% but I would argue it realistically 96.2% considering what the remaining teams look like now.
Last 30 days wRC+Mariners are at 93 despite the brutal schedule, meanwhile our remaining opponents....ATH 87 (7 games), Texas 94 (3 games), LAA 76 (7 games), COL 86 (3 games) and HOU 91 (2 games).
ATH is decimated, no Kurtz, no Bangeliers, no Soderstrom, no Wilson, no Grauer.
LAA lost Adell and Schanuel is banged up and they just lost Klassen and called up Mitch Farris
TEX is without Eovaldi and Jung...their big sept callup? Cameron Cauley
COL is Colorado

I think I'm finally losing my last faith in this team. And Dan definitely plays a huge role in that. He doesn't bring any energy and his management is horrible.
We're 6 games behind in the division and 5.5 in the WC with just 24 games to go. The Astros playing 15 out of 24 games against teams over .500, so maybe they loose more than they win? Maybe not, because they're 27-19 against such teams.
If the Astros play .500 ball for the rest of the season, we have to finish 19-5. Even with our easy schedule I'm not seeing it at all.
Somehow Fangraphs gives us a 11.8% chance to reach the playoffs (10.2% to win the division, 1.5% to get WC spot).
What is your hope for the rest of the season?

A crane overturned and caught fire at Mumbai Port on 31 August 2026. Two operators were injured.
The incident happened during cargo unloading at the port's Ballard Pier Extension. Video published by Hindustan Times and Livemint showed heavy black smoke rising from the site, visible across a wide area of the port.
Maritime Executive and The Hindu both reported that the two people hurt were crane operators. The crane collapsed first, with fire following shortly after.

During World War II, Douglas Tough was ordered to gather small vessels capable of crossing the English Channel. He collected over 100 "little ships" at his yard and towed them to Ramsgate for Operation Dynamo in May 1940.
Once in France, these small vessels drafted close to the shallow beaches of Dunkirk to lift soldiers directly out of the water.
