Been collecting for around 3-4 years now. Pretty good for someone who’s 15 😁

There is still alot of stuff i couldnt add like my PLCE webbing set my Kukri mk5 my 105 howitzer ammo crate some patches and other small items like that so far the collection worth is around 2k ish maybe 1.8k

I purchased these items from an estate sale recently. All of the books, art, photo albums, ext. were German from about 1950 and earlier. I usually stay away from medals because they are so commonly faked, but I figured this one might have a higher chance of being legit since the entire estate seemed to be from a German family. Once I started researching it more I think it’s fake but I would love to be wrong. Would anyone be able to provide any insight?

Im trying to find what kind of strap is that on my M1 helmet

I was told it’s civil era but not 100 percent sure can’t find anything on google about it.

My aunt and uncle came down for a Sunday roast today as its a Bank holiday and brought this along for me.

Their neighbour was a glider pilot on D day, and used this to cut himself out the glider when it "landed". They were supposed to dispose of this once free but he obviously didnt! Instead he took it home and was using it in his garden as a hatchet until he gave it to my uncle.

I do have a photo of the inscription on the blade (?) and hilt (?) But I wasnt able to post more than one photo

Hi everyone, I recently found this incredibly heavy leather trench coat and I'm trying to find out more about its history and potential value.

The tag says "Z. PHILIBOS CO. MADE IN U.A.R.". Since the United Arab Republic (the union between Egypt and Syria) existed only between 1958 and 1971, this puts the coat right in the middle of the Cold War era.

The cut is very monumental, military/diplomatic style. Does anyone have any information on the manufacturer or know who would have been issued such a heavy leather coat in the Middle East during that time? Military officers? Government officials?

Any help with history or valuation would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I was wondering if somebody could help me identify this Iron Cross' maker. It does not have any maker's mark, but I have heard, that some simply did not have them, but can be identified nonetheless... However, I am not knowledgeable enough to do that. :/ And what would be a good price as I am looking to sell it.

Got at a recycled bookstore for $15, not sure what to look for to authenticate but I thought it would be cool to flip through. The dates are tripping me up though, if there is any way to authenticate it please let me know!
