Discussion Omron vs Kailh opticals?

Of the current optical switches, which do you prefer?

Also curious what mouse you think has the best implementation of either. Feel, sound, click weight, whatever makes that implementation stand out to you.

Question What's your guys think about this mouse?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Just bought the AULA / Wolf Spider SC311 for around RM33 ($7-8 USD).

Has anyone here used it? How is the build quality and sensor performance over time?

My main use cases:

- Light gaming & coding

- Frequent use in quiet spaces/libraries (concerned about click noise)

Would love to hear your experiences with switch feel, battery life, and overall reliability. Thanks!

Question Small wireless mice with notch behind scroll wheel?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Are there any decent wireless mice (small, ideally ~60g) with this 'notch' (i.e. some region that cannot actuate the mouse buttons and is ideally at a lower elevation) behind the scroll wheel, like the one on the viper? I'm aware there is a wireless edition of the viper but it's ridiculously priced and limited edition. None of the EGG mice seem to have this, the Logitech ones that have it are far too heavy (e.g. G305), Viper Ultimate is too big, etc.

Question Tigerice V2 and Saturn pro

Hey!

I really need some help. I have a Superlight 2 and a Saturn Pro mousepad.

I’m looking for skates. Right now I have new Tiger Ice V2, but I really don’t like them. While gaming, I can really feel the friction/resistance in my hand, almost like it’s hard to move the mouse smoothly. It’s especially noticeable when I’m playing low sens and have to lift and reposition the mouse frequently — it feels kind of heavy.

I never had this issue with Corepads. What could be causing this, other than the fact that Corepads are thicker?

Help Ninjutso Sora V3 not dongle not working out of the box.

Upvotes

Not sure what to do at this point besides try and get a different unit, but the dongle isnt working in chrome even though it says its paired in the web app, i tried installing the updater but it keeps giving me troubleshooting errors and tells me critical files have been deleted cause of it. Then when i finally did get it working, it kept giving me the windows error noise and my pc bluescreened. Luckily it restarted without issue. I downloaded the firmware for just the sora mouse and im still getting the not connected message on the app. The dongle lights never even turned on out of the box and i just got this mouse today about 15 minutes ago. Any idea what i could do?

Im not even clicking on the debug surface thing or anything else because the device itself isnt working, when i go into device manager to update the drivers this is whats popping up.

Edit: i downloaded the reciever software firmaware and tried to install it, at 50% the device disconnected itself from device manager and now the firmware updater doesnt recognize the dongle at all. So at this point i actually think im all out of options.

Help Mouse recommendation under 60 euro

Upvotes

Could someone recommend me a decent mouse in this price range that won’t break after 4 months?

I’ve been using the ATK Blazing Sky U2 Pro until now. It was only used normally, and unfortunately the scroll wheel broke today. I’ve never slammed or hit the mouse. It simply started making a rattling noise while scrolling, and then after I pressed the wheel a few times, it sank into the mouse.

I know €60 might not be a lot of money to some people for a mouse, but it is for me, so I’m pretty disappointed right now. I need to buy a new mouse, and I’d really appreciate some recommendations.

Ideally, I’m looking for something with a similar shape to the U2 Pro, but with better build quality, if that’s possible in this price range. I’d prefer it to be wireless, and I’d use it for FPS games as well as other types of games.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I am a tiny bit worried about my vt0 air max

I love the mouse, I really do, but I just found out that it got diagnosed wit-with-with TYPE 2 DPI DOWNSHIFT (DUN DUN). In all seriousness, I am a little worried here. I use 800 dpi with source/quake sens of 1.15. And from what I heard, type 2 downshift doesn't only happen after a certain threshold, it happens at every dpi range.

From what I say, according to one of the charts from a tester (forgot his name) the vt0 air max is one of the worst offenders of type 2 dpi downshift or dpi downshift in general. I really, really hope it gets addressed at some point by rapoo and their software. But its a chinese brand, so its not going to happen.

I myself haven't actually noticed it yet, i only know about it. But even knowing that it exists is bad enough for me.

Looking for replacement for Glorious Model O

Hi, I'm looking to replace my Model O. I've had it for about 6 years now and my left click switch has finally started breaking down. I don't really play games anymore but I still like the Model O shape / weight for working. I also wanted to get a wireless mouse this time for convenience. Anybody have any recommendations for mice with similar shape / weight? The obvious answer felt like the Model O wireless / O2 wireless but I heard some complaints about wireless issues with Glorious mice, but I'd still be open to them if the issues are overplayed.

Question Vaxee NP01 ergo clone?

I have an original NP01, but I've always been more of an ergo palm gripper

Previous mice were mx515 and g604.

I do enjoy the NP01 for competitive fps but for daily use I do love the g604 and infinite scroll.

Would the NP01 ergo be something in between to bridge the gap? Are there any cheap clones yet I can try before I splurge on the real deal?

Really not a fan of the ridiculous dongle though. Needs more colour options too, I love the sky blue on my current one.

Gaming mouse suggest

Hey guys, I’m planning to get a new gaming mouse (budget is 500-700rs) and I’ve narrowed it down to these options

1 Ant eSports virtus100 wired

2 spinbot clutch gt500 wired

3 kreo harpy

4 Zebronics Viper 100W

5 Zebronics Viper 50

6 ant ghost 50

7 any other suggestions

I’m honestly confused between these 😅. I’ve watched a few reviews, but I’d rather hear from people who have actually used them

Help How is VXE R1 Mouse?

Thumbnail

Looking for a good wireless gaming mouse under ₹4k (India). I’ve previously used Razer, HyperX and Logitech, but this time I’m not brand loyal and want to focus on performance and value. I’ve been seeing a lot of hype around VXE and ATK, so I’m considering those. I mainly play competitive games and use a palm grip. I’d prefer something under 59g, with a good sensor, low latency and solid build quality. Which VXE/ATK mouse would you recommend, or are there better options under ₹4k?

Help finding a mouse for palm grip.

Hello, my hand size is 18x9.5cm, so not big, more medium I would say. I used A Naga Pro for years and it was really comfortable, but as I got older, I started feeling the weight more and more, and decided to look into something lighter.

I'm currently using a Razer Deathadder V4 Pro, which was recommended to me for palm grip, but it's giving me pain in my ring and pinky fingers, that goes all the way to the wrist (hypothenar area most likely). I think it might be due to the hump? It does feel too pronounced, or maybe it's the lack of support for my pinky finger, that the Naga has, I'm not sure.

I also tried my brother's Viper V3 Pro for a bit and while the hump was a lot better, it still causes pain in those 2 fingers.

I would say my exact grip technically would be palm, as most of it touches the mouse, but my fingers sit in a relaxed fingertip position sometimes. So more of a hybrid maybe, I'm not sure.

I've been looking into it for the past week, but all the different options out there are really overwhelming, so I thought I might as well ask here if anyone with similar hand size and/or problems has been able to find something comfortable or what would be comfortable for my grip in general.

My use case will be for pretty much everything – games, with a bias towards single player RPGs and MMOs, as well as general browsing. As for the budget, it's around 160€ (185$) upper limit, with preference towards wireless and weight less than 75g.

Edit: Here is a photo of my grip, the bottom of my fingers at the knuckles seems in the air, but that's because I lifted the mouse to show case the side, otherwise they rest on the hump.

Need Recommendation on these mice

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

As the title suggested, I need some recommendation on these mice. I mainly would use the mouse with laptop and on the go often, productivity mouse usecase. For context, my main mice are G502 Hero (x2, office, home) and G502 Wireless. I would love G502 to support tri-mode connection. And yes, I understand the "why not use a productivity mouse". Well, its because there aren't one that good enough. I previously had Keychron M6 (version 1, the plastic scroll-wheel one). It has some drawbacks, right-click issue, loud scroll-wheel. I know Keychron released a v2 version of M6, I guess I'm still stingy about the first one.

I have a few options in mind, but unsure which one is the better one.

Options (according to images): 1. VXE R1 (4 connection modes version) 2. ATK A9 Pro Max 3. Mchose A7 V3 Pro

A few requirements: - wireless connection, preferably Bluetooth - everyday uses for development and random internet browsing - unlikely in gaming usecase - decent battery life - decent switch and not too loud

any suggestion are all welcome. Thanks

Help What aftermarket skates are the most similar to razer stock skates in your opinion?

I really like Razer's stock skates, and I'd love to get something similar for my other mice. With so many aftermarket skates on the market, I don't really know much about them. Anyone with experience with aftermarket skates able to tell me which ones would be the closest?
