Help Does anyone have this problem with this mouse?

Upvotes

Hello, so, i just bought a new mouse, it's the havit ms1040wb v3. It has some lights but i think im having an error. There are 8 types of lights that rotate between each other with the light button in the center of the mouse. The thing is, they rotate even if i dont press the button, and eventually, they turn off because the last mode is no light. I want to keep it with just one mode and i cant because it wont let me.

Help ATK A9 Air+ or A9 Mini+? HELP!

Upvotes

ATK A9 Air+ or A9 Mini+? HELP!
I’m trying to decide between the ATK A9 Air+ and A9 Mini+, and I’d really appreciate some opinions from people who have used either one, especially if you’ve tried both.
My hand size is around 17 × 14 cm, and I mainly use a relaxed claw / palm grip. I play Valorant and Fortnite, so click feel is pretty important to me, especially for fast clicking and editing.
What I’m looking for:
Small/medium shape, but not too small
Good palm support, especially around the rear of the mouse
Good main clicks for fast clicking/editing
Good side buttons
Lightweight, but I don’t necessarily want the absolute lightest mouse
A shape that feels secure in my hand rather than feeling too small
Right now I’m leaning toward the A9 Air+, mainly because I’ve heard its clicks feel more crisp and defined, while the A9 Mini+ seems to have a softer/smoother click.
For anyone who has tried them:
Which one would you choose for my hand size and grip, and why?
Also, how different do the main clicks actually feel between the two? Is the A9 Mini+ noticeably better for click spamming, or is the A9 Air+ still good for that?
Any advice is appreciated!

Question Is the MCU difference between VXE R1 and R1 Pro relevant? Does it hurt you for not paying more for a better MCU?

Upvotes

I'm on a budget and I was considering vxe r1. But I see some people say that the r1 pro is better because it has a better MCU and bekken MCU is cheap quality. Then I asked chat gpt why MCU matters and it said that the implementation of 'calibration' and LOD depends on the MCU. I'm so confused by this sus response. I don't know anything about it so I'm asking for advice here.

Does this matter? I was under the impression that both vxe r1 and the pro will perform IDENTICAL since they have the same sensor? Can someone explain what's up with the MCU thing

Help Ninjutso Sora V3 not dongle not working out of the box.

Upvotes

Not sure what to do at this point besides try and get a different unit, but the dongle isnt working in chrome even though it says its paired in the web app, i tried installing the updater but it keeps giving me troubleshooting errors and tells me critical files have been deleted cause of it. Then when i finally did get it working, it kept giving me the windows error noise and my pc bluescreened. Luckily it restarted without issue. I downloaded the firmware for just the sora mouse and im still getting the not connected message on the app. The dongle lights never even turned on out of the box and i just got this mouse today about 15 minutes ago. Any idea what i could do?

Im not even clicking on the debug surface thing or anything else because the device itself isnt working, when i go into device manager to update the drivers this is whats popping up.

Edit: i downloaded the reciever software firmaware and tried to install it, at 50% the device disconnected itself from device manager and now the firmware updater doesnt recognize the dongle at all. So at this point i actually think im all out of options.

Help Mouse recommendation under 60 euro

Upvotes

Could someone recommend me a decent mouse in this price range that won’t break after 4 months?

I’ve been using the ATK Blazing Sky U2 Pro until now. It was only used normally, and unfortunately the scroll wheel broke today. I’ve never slammed or hit the mouse. It simply started making a rattling noise while scrolling, and then after I pressed the wheel a few times, it sank into the mouse.

I know €60 might not be a lot of money to some people for a mouse, but it is for me, so I’m pretty disappointed right now. I need to buy a new mouse, and I’d really appreciate some recommendations.

Ideally, I’m looking for something with a similar shape to the U2 Pro, but with better build quality, if that’s possible in this price range. I’d prefer it to be wireless, and I’d use it for FPS games as well as other types of games.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Budget wireless G502 alternative

Hi,

I'm looking for something to replace my original, 2014 G502 Proteus Core. It's still in perfect condition and I love the shape and the buttons, but I'd like something wireless now, preferably both Bluetooth and 2.4G so I can easily connect to my laptop.

The obvious choice is a G502 Lightspeed, but at 100+EUR it's a bit more than I'd like to spend, and it doesn't have Bluetooth, so I'd like to see if there are any budget alternatives. I recently got an Attack Shark X11 for a secondary machine and I'm very impressed with the value, but it's way too light and I'm missing the extra buttons. I'd like to have 2 side buttons, at least 2 extra buttons (the ones next to the left click on the G502 are perfect, but I can work with different placement), and either a tiltable scroll wheel or a second, horizontal scroll wheel. I know that the trend is to have light mice now, but I'd like at least the option to add weights if it's very light. G502 without added weights is perfect for me.

I also have a work provided MX Master 3S, that shape doesn't work for me.

I seldom game on my PC anymore, I mostly just use it for basic office use and some CAD, so the very best tracking performance and latency are not crucial - the old G502 from over a decade ago is more than fine.

Opinions on AULA X9 MAX

My current mouse is Glorious model O minus, I really like using a lightweight mouse, but the right click button is not working properly anymore. I saw this AULA X9 MAX that looks interesting and also fits my budget, and is also really lightweight.

Any opinions on this mouse if it's good/bad, or maybe you have other suggestions for a lightweight mouse of a similar budget (can go up to 70-80 euros), wired or wireless doesn't matter too much, using it for working and also gaming

I am a tiny bit worried about my vt0 air max

I love the mouse, I really do, but I just found out that it got diagnosed wit-with-with TYPE 2 DPI DOWNSHIFT (DUN DUN). In all seriousness, I am a little worried here. I use 800 dpi with source/quake sens of 1.15. And from what I heard, type 2 downshift doesn't only happen after a certain threshold, it happens at every dpi range.

From what I say, according to one of the charts from a tester (forgot his name) the vt0 air max is one of the worst offenders of type 2 dpi downshift or dpi downshift in general. I really, really hope it gets addressed at some point by rapoo and their software. But its a chinese brand, so its not going to happen.

I myself haven't actually noticed it yet, i only know about it. But even knowing that it exists is bad enough for me.

Kone 2 :(

I just got the Kone 2 from Turtlebeach and to be honest i dont like it....I realy want to like it but i cant.

Compared to my Roccat pro, then its bigger and feels more clumsy to hold on.
It also feels uncomfy to hold on and the bottons feels to reactive. So when i move the mouse then i have clicked at least 3 bottons at once.

The side where you hold ur thumb feels unshaped compared to Kone pro that is round and so smooth to hold.

Either im gona return it or keep it for a spare windows mouse when my kone pro breaks. Then i have a mouse to seach a new one with.

Its not a good claw mouse !

Looking for replacement for Glorious Model O

Hi, I'm looking to replace my Model O. I've had it for about 6 years now and my left click switch has finally started breaking down. I don't really play games anymore but I still like the Model O shape / weight for working. I also wanted to get a wireless mouse this time for convenience. Anybody have any recommendations for mice with similar shape / weight? The obvious answer felt like the Model O wireless / O2 wireless but I heard some complaints about wireless issues with Glorious mice, but I'd still be open to them if the issues are overplayed.

Question Vaxee NP01 ergo clone?

I have an original NP01, but I've always been more of an ergo palm gripper

Previous mice were mx515 and g604.

I do enjoy the NP01 for competitive fps but for daily use I do love the g604 and infinite scroll.

Would the NP01 ergo be something in between to bridge the gap? Are there any cheap clones yet I can try before I splurge on the real deal?

Really not a fan of the ridiculous dongle though. Needs more colour options too, I love the sky blue on my current one.

Discussion Mouse shape for larger hands

I know shape has been discussed throughly but I wanted to bring some of my personal experience to get some perspective because I think it’s odd that even with larger hands, I’m most comfortable with smaller mice, or ergo mice.

The length of my hand from bottom of my palm to tip of my ring finger is 8”

And the width I measured from one side of my palm to the other, not taking thumb into account, was 4”

And my grip is a hybrid between palm and claw.

My journey with mice in the last 6-8 years is as follows:

-Razer Basilisk Ultimate, first expensive kind of mouse, remember being extremely comfortable but certainly heavy.

-Then I went to the Razer Viper Ultimate, great mouse, but the shape didn’t flatter me, this is where I fell into buying symmetrical mice because of their popularity, forcing myself to change my grip to be comfortable

-Next I purchased and used the Razer Viper Signature Edition, this probably is my favorite I’ve ever used, at the least for symmetrical mice, very light, great performance, the smaller size felt great for me. Was my main for 2-3 years

-then I got the Logitech Superstrike when it released, cool mouse, used extensively. But this is when I actually became conscious of how awkward the shape was. Even though my hands are large, I could never find a comfortable way to grip it and had to start using grip tape to help. How do people use this shape?

-And my most recent purchase has been the Pulsar Feinmanm f01. As my first dip back into ergo mice after 6 years of the same egg shape, and it was a breath of fresh air. I’ve been using it for a couple months now and it’s been perfect, all I could ask for. I’d love recommendations for similar ergo mice that people use.

Now, the thing that sparked this post was because I returned to the superstrike briefly. And holy hell, it felt so much worse than I remembered in my hand, that rear portion, the rear hump being so high felt like I was fighting the mouse the entire time. How do people with smaller hands than me even use these symmetrical medium sized shapes? Does anyone actually prefer this shape or do people purchase them because they’re the safe option and super popular? Obv most people don’t have the funds or patience to shop around and try different mouse shapes. But for me it feels unbearable and I feel silly for not going ergo or sticking to a mini mouse. Am I just a weird?
