New EC2-EW
New receiver with screen and separated main buttons. I hope Zowie release it soon. At first, I noticed that Apex and Flamez from Team Vitality had switched their gray mice back to black. I didn’t understand why, since they’d been playing with that version the whole time—which also hadn’t been released yet (only the za12-dw and fk1-dw had come out in that color). Then, a few times during the Blast tournament, I saw that the buttons were separated on the mice and thought I was imagining things. But it turns out they’ve all already switched to the new EC2-EW version.
I think they separate the main buttons to reduce the weight, but at the same time, they wanted the design to be rigid.

Review Mchose K7 Ultra review
It’s been two weeks since I got the MCHOSE K7 Ultra in Iron Red, and it has been amazing.
Coming from a budget AttackShark G3 Pro,which was fine until the scroll wheel suddenly broke.the K7 Ultra feels significantly smoother. The positioning of the side buttons, being set slightly further back, suits me much better.
One of the biggest standouts is the included carrying case. As someone who constantly commutes and travels for work, taking a mouse on the go has never felt this convenient or safe. Even the unboxing experience felt more premium than my $1,600 ASUS laptop.
The software has been rock solid with zero issues, and the magnetic charging dock (with the 8K receiver) is strong and sturdy,a massive upgrade over the flimsy charging pins on the G3 Pro.

Discussion Comparing mouse shape is serious buizness.
Love eloshape. Is this happening for everyone? On Firefox, I noticed suddenly my cpu gets really hot when turning on the 3d compare. Fans kicked off, brrrrr, 150watts. CPU usage hits ~%60 flat.
It doesn't do this on chrome

Review Redragon Prism Pro (M997) review
Hello! First of all, Redragon sent me this mouse in exchange for my review. I thought that was pretty sweet, considering I don't have a YouTube channel or any kind of influence...just a dude that's apparently posted enough about mechanical keyboards online to start a relationship with. If only that was how the real world worked...
Anyway, if you want an overall review up front: it's really nice. The magnesium alloy shell makes it just about as light as my daily driver Mchose L7 Ultra plus, but with a sturdier feel in the hand since it isn't plastic.
SPECS:
Price: $59.99 USD
Weight: 55 grams
Material: Magnesium alloy honeycomb
Shape: fairly small with a slightly more pronounced hump than the Mchose, comfortable
Sensor: PixArt PAW 3395. This does not mean anything to me but maybe it does to you.
DPI: adjustable (400/800/1600/2400/3200)
Polling rate: 1000Hz
Switches: Huano light mechanical
Battery: 400mAh, rechargeable
Connectivity: tri-mode, wired/2.4GHz/Bluetooth
Now, I'll admit I am not a mouse afficianado. I used a G502 for years until I decided to dip my toes in what more modern mice are like, got an Mchose L7 Ultra+, and stopped there. But using this for a month I really like it. It feels very agile in FPS games (CS2 and Valorant), the battery lasts, the scroll wheel is nice, the price is unbeatable for the materials. Well done Redragon!

Help Utechsmart VENUS pro rgb mmo wireless gaming mouse help
I have a Utechsmart VENUS pro rgb mmo wireless gaming mouse and it suddenly stops working. It works fine for a couple months and then it suddenly stops. Charging it wont fix it, and I've tried resetting the mouse (holding the left, right and middle mouse button) but that also doesn't fix it. When i plug in the mouse the mouse cursor shows up on screen but i cant do any movement or anything else with the mouse.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Kone 2 :(
I just got the Kone 2 from Turtlebeach and to be honest i dont like it....I realy want to like it but i cant.
Compared to my Roccat pro, then its bigger and feels more clumsy to hold on.
It also feels uncomfy to hold on and the bottons feels to reactive. So when i move the mouse then i have clicked at least 3 bottons at once.
The side where you hold ur thumb feels unshaped compared to Kone pro that is round and so smooth to hold.
Either im gona return it or keep it for a spare windows mouse when my kone pro breaks. Then i have a mouse to seach a new one with.
Its not a good claw mouse !

What mouse switches, to replace a Corsair M65
Hi all, I've had Corsair M65 mice years, probably over 10 now.
My second one today started double clicking from a single click. As I had some microswitches from a 3d printing project I decided to fix it asap as I WFH and it was causing me problems. I managed to replace the switch fine with one of the spares I had. The problem is it feels really awful compared to the old switch/right click.
It feels flat and dead, there is slightly less resistance on the new click too, with the old one I can sort of preload a click, have tension on the button without it pressing in. On the new button I cannot do this. Also having an imbalance between the L&R sucks.
The new switch is labelled D2F-01F, the old one D2FC-FN(20M).
I guess my question is what switches would you recommend I plan to crack it open again and replace both. I can always go with what was in there before but I assume there is something better than stock. I'm not really into mice I have the M65 because my hands are massive and it is the only mouse I've found comfortable even vaguely comfortable. I'm a software engineer and keen gamer I probably use my mouse an average of 10-12 hours a day.
Thanks Chris

Question Looking for a Balance mousepad
Hi,
I'm looking for a balance mousepad. My main games are The Finals and Rainbow 6 Siege and I use a sensitivity of 32cm/360. I am looking at the Artisan FX Hayate Otsu V2 Soft or mid. I live in a humid area so I want something that will stay consistent. Does anyone have any experience with this mousepad or should I opt for something else?

Question Budget Mouse that will last a while
I've been looking for a new mouse for gaming and school work. I tried using the VXE R1 Pro but the mouse wheel broke after 1-2 months of multiple hours of daily use. IDK if I was raging too much or if this a common problem with the model but I'm looking for a relatively cheap ($50-80 range preferably, but willing to go higher) that is going to last at least a year (maybe a little more durable incase of gamer rage or damage during transport)

Help Compatible mouse switches
Does anyone know what switches are compatible with the Logitech m280/320/330 series, and the M550/650/750 series?
If aftermarket scroll encoders are compatible with these mice too I'd also like to know of them.

Question Is the MCU difference between VXE R1 and R1 Pro relevant? Does it hurt you for not paying more for a better MCU?
I'm on a budget and I was considering vxe r1. But I see some people say that the r1 pro is better because it has a better MCU and bekken MCU is cheap quality. Then I asked chat gpt why MCU matters and it said that the implementation of 'calibration' and LOD depends on the MCU. I'm so confused by this sus response. I don't know anything about it so I'm asking for advice here.
Does this matter? I was under the impression that both vxe r1 and the pro will perform IDENTICAL since they have the same sensor? Can someone explain what's up with the MCU thing

Budget wireless G502 alternative
Hi,
I'm looking for something to replace my original, 2014 G502 Proteus Core. It's still in perfect condition and I love the shape and the buttons, but I'd like something wireless now, preferably both Bluetooth and 2.4G so I can easily connect to my laptop.
The obvious choice is a G502 Lightspeed, but at 100+EUR it's a bit more than I'd like to spend, and it doesn't have Bluetooth, so I'd like to see if there are any budget alternatives. I recently got an Attack Shark X11 for a secondary machine and I'm very impressed with the value, but it's way too light and I'm missing the extra buttons. I'd like to have 2 side buttons, at least 2 extra buttons (the ones next to the left click on the G502 are perfect, but I can work with different placement), and either a tiltable scroll wheel or a second, horizontal scroll wheel. I know that the trend is to have light mice now, but I'd like at least the option to add weights if it's very light. G502 without added weights is perfect for me.
I also have a work provided MX Master 3S, that shape doesn't work for me.
I seldom game on my PC anymore, I mostly just use it for basic office use and some CAD, so the very best tracking performance and latency are not crucial - the old G502 from over a decade ago is more than fine.
