Over the past week, I've been getting some ridiculous frame drops to the point where the game just doesn't feel fun to play anymore. Once every few seconds, it'll freeze for about a quarter of a second then snap back to what the game should be like, and it looks like it buffers any inputs I have during the freeze. Haven't had this issue before, but have over 1000 hours in the game. Figured I'd pull up the network graph just to see what it shows. The grey boxes are where I get these freezes.

I haven't been getting any in-game notifications about network connection problems (no packet loss nor weak connection notifications). I usually am able to solve computer issues on my own with a simple Google search, but I'm just at a loss here. I tried updating my drivers but still had this issue afterwards. Not sure if submitting a ticket with Blizzard would help. Anyone know what's going on and how I can fix it?

Is there an explanation for this?

I’ve been stuck in plat despite making it to diamond last season. These are the types of games I’m getting and still losing. Why is the matchmaking so bad? Or is it actually me? I’m getting to infuriated playing comp because of how unbalanced this game is.

my career profile says my best kill streak is with Tracer at 36 but I clearly got more with D.Mon. Is my best kill streak counted by final blows or just eliminations in general?

edit: if it’s by final blows, I don’t remember getting 36 without dying with Tracer 😭

Sombra has been unplayable garbage for years now, but honestly that’s for the best and the only problem with this is that they don’t extend this to more characters. Would more than 3 people be upset if Mauga and Cat were just F tier until the game shut down if they can’t significantly rework them? If they can treat one character like this, I don’t see why they can’t extend it to characters that are arguably far more hated.

They are not FORCING the two.. It’s a perfectly normal friendship/one sided crush situation. Juno gained her first real friend in Overwatch and Wuyang, his first crush.

This does not affect other Wuyang/Juno ships because canon doesn’t matter with their headcanons.
Are they a boring slop ship? Well no.. If other ships can be interesting with headcanons then this ship can also be interesting with headcanons.

Zen players are the absolute worst ppl in this game. Idk what about zen players who think Zen is the answer to everything and refuse to swap but I need them to burn in the deepest darkest part of the underworld.

NO JOKE I just lost 4 games in a row because zen refused to swap or swapped last minute. ALL DIFFERENT PEOPLE BTW😂. I NEED THIS CHARACTER REMOVED FROM THE GAME to force these people to grow a brain. 3 OF THESE GAMES THE ENEMY IS RUNNING DIVE ALSO. I need this character removed from the game. My team got matches suddenly changing maps near the end of them. I saw this like thrice now and every single time there was a weaver on the team. Please fix your shit Blizzard.

There should be a pretty significant difference between someone repeatedly harassing another player, using slurs, making threats, etc., and someone saying something like “you’re getting diffed,” “that was terrible,” or talking a little shit after a close game. Competitive games have always had some level of trash talk. As long as it isn’t crossing into actual harassment, I don’t really see why that needs to be treated the same way as genuinely abusive behavior.

It also creates a weird situation where the safest way to play Overwatch is basically to never type anything remotely negative. If saying something mildly insulting after somebody talks trash to you can potentially contribute toward an account penalty, why even have match chat?

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I’d rather have a system that heavily punishes genuinely abusive players while allowing some normal competitive trash talk.

It does not make sense that “troon” gets past the filter but idiot doesn’t.

Since overwatchs release, There have been heroes that nobody has ever actually liked. Mostly roadhog, Mauga and sierra. Either because they are just bad and unfun heroes to play, play with or play against. I feel like roadhog is the worst offender of this. Two ways to one shot with crazy survivability doesn't work.

The thing I like about overwatch is that they make these crazy characters *on paper* actually work in the game.

For example, Bastion. 350hp, armour, insanely high DPS, mobility, high burst dmg with perks. He's got it all. Yet he isn't the best hero in the game and definitely not the worst. He simply works.

Why doesn't roadhog? I'm a bit tired of pretending like roadhog is fine where he is and they've NEVER been able to fix him

I honestly don't know what else I can do at this point, so I'm posting here to see if anyone has dealt with something similar.

My account was penalized, and I have been trying to get a clear explanation from support. The problem is that the answers I've received have been completely inconsistent.

At one point, I was told that the penalty had been overturned/removed. I was also told that there was an issue related to my PC/Steam license, which is why I tried accessing the game through another platform.

Now I've received a completely different response from another Game Master saying that the action was correct and that the investigation will not be reopened.

The problem is that nobody has actually explained to me what I supposedly did.

I have not used cheats, exploits, or unauthorized software. The only thing I did that might be relevant was linking my Twitch account.

What frustrates me the most is that I'm not even asking them to blindly believe me. If their system detected something, then tell me what happened. If there is evidence that I violated the rules, I'd like to at least understand what I'm being accused of.

Instead, I'm getting generic responses saying the action was correct, while previous support responses told me something completely different.

I understand that games need to take cheating and exploits seriously. I'm completely fine with that. But players should also be able to get a consistent explanation when their account is penalized.

I have spent a lot of time contacting support because I genuinely care about my account and just want this resolved fairly.

Has anyone experienced something similar where support first said a penalty was overturned/removed and later said the action was correct?

Hey all! I've been playing OW for a while and wanted to try out comp for the first time. I don't really have anything to prove just want to play some more tryhard games than what I can get in QP and hopefully learn and improve at the game for my own personal goals.

I placed in low Plat after my placements and went up to high Plat today in a session. It was a lot of fun! I main support and can play the entire roster fairly well. I am trying to learn synergies and comps and counterpicks right now. I suppose I just have a few questions:

1. What are common pitfalls on Plat players that keep them from reaching Diamond/Emerald?
2. What the heck supports are good playing against a heavy long range poke comp? I feel like this is the comp I struggle to pick a good hero for every time.

My game is showing widow, hog, mauga, sierra, and sombra as being locked. When I go to the character in the menu it says they are banned, but I’m not in a game or anything. What is happening?

I just started playing this game, 60 games down with 35 losses. I really cant get endorsements anymore. All i see are level 45 and 60 players. Is there no way i can let strangers know i am new?

I saw a post where someone said t just play mercy. I dont even know how to play anyone. How many games does it take to reach endorsement level 2. And where can i check it?

Is the team kill challenge not working for anyone else? I've played multiple games, as you can see, and have gotten multiple team kills yet the challenge isn't being marked as complete yet. Anyone else experiencing this?

As the title says, Ive been getting into ranked with one of my friends and I've never had to draw before. (I'm by far a quick play warrior) Ive only encountered a handful of cheaters in ranked and more in qp but I've never had to draw before and I've never known how to. I want to learn in the case that I need to, but I hope I wont need to. Ive heard emongg say to do it since I watch his vids but just don't know how.
