my boyfriend and i are playing phasmofobia rn, and the sky is literally red, it’s so scary and strange.
i know weather changes every round but i’ve been playing phasmo since months and never seen red sky
does that mean anything?

First off it's on Prison which sucks, and it's a 0 sanity game with no means of restoring it. On top of that there aren't any incenses or crucifixes AND it's all tier 1 equipment. This is more of a nuisance than a challenge. I guess my strategy is just to get lucky with ghost spawns and hope they're easy to identify by speed alone.

Trying to get into higher difficulties since professional is getting too easy. Came across this website and was wondering if someone could break down what each timer is meant for?

Will it count if I played the restricted version of the map? Or it doesn’t it and I have to play the regular version.

What is the easiest/fastest way to get all of the map badges? Mainly asking for the bigger maps like sunny meadows I want to get all of them but some maps are harder than others like willow and tanglewood are easy since they’re small maps it’s very time consuming but very easy compared to maps like sunny meadows.. whenever my team plays on sunny we end up dead before we can even figure out where the ghost room is.. I’ve seen a lot of people say you can do the map badges with friendly ghost mode on but I don’t think that works I tried it once on willow just to test if it actually works or not and it didn’t count towards my progress which I didn’t think it would.. so what’s the easiest way some of you get your map badges? Looking for ways that don’t involve no evidence runs

So. Ghost stepped in salt for the leader of group, but not for me and another player. Salt looked completely undisturbed. Ruined the investigation for two of us 😀 just needed to let it out somewhere. Small things like this make me not wanna play this game 💔😥

I'm trying to play with a couple friends of mine, and their game is looking like this. Does anyone know what might be causing this? They can't interact with the option menu either. I've already suggested uninstalling and reinstalling, but they said they just reinstalled the game last night.

This started two days ago, everytime we try to play with our friends this happens. They did a fresh install and after like 30-40min constant fight with this, sometimes we can start a game, just to disconnect when we are 10-15min in the game.
Anybody any solution? Should we do another reinstall and verify game files for the fifth time?

Dose someone else’s game crash, when you try to join a lobby or when you are in a game for no reason (playing on xbox)?

The game keeps stuttering now and then and the fps drops like crazy with video or photo cameras(30-40). I have a decent laptop. any suggestions?

Is anyone else not receiving the ferryman of the drowned badge and card after doing everything you need to do? I’ve done it twice and each time I get back to the lobby it says I received it but it’s still locked in my customization tab.. I tried to do it a 3rd time and that time nothing happened after I rang the bell.. has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you fix it?

We had a 14 min game with the hantu not stepping foot in the ghost room once. Hunted on me so we gussed and left because we had no evidence. This normal?

I know we have the crimson eye event, but seeing the eclipse a few days ago made me think of phas and it annoyed me there wasn't a blood moon in game as well. The event would happen 1-3 times a year and if you only do it when its a full eclipse that's only 1 and that doesn't even happen yearly.

I had my windows defender live protection off and a hacker came in the lobby I was in, we tried to kick them but it wouldn’t work, We made a new lobby and he joined again. We just decided to get off. So my question is can someone hack your pc just by being in the same lobby. Like give you virus’s or malware.

Since when does an Obake slow down like this? 😅

I’m still fairly new to Phasmophobia and currently learning the different hunt tells, so maybe I’m missing something obvious here.

I had it narrowed down to Obake, Raiju and Dayan. I ruled out Raiju because the ghost literally walked over active electronics without speeding up.

During this hunt it slowed down so noticeably near me that I thought it had to be a Dayan. I had ruled Dayan out earlier because the ghost had a male name, but after seeing this hunt I actually thought maybe the name was bugged and picked Dayan anyway. 😂

Turns out it was an Obake.

Watching the clip again, I also noticed the Obake shapeshift right before I turn away... I completely missed it during the hunt itself.

But I’m still confused about the speed. I thought Obake had normal ghost speed/LOS acceleration and no special slowing mechanic?

What exactly caused the slowdown here? LOS/pathing, or am I misunderstanding something about Obake hunts?

Quick one, but there’s a modifier for the Ghost (not in custom) called “Shy”. As far as I know, it only affects spirit box responses, does anyone know if it affects general activities? If a ghost only responds to one person on the spirit box, is it inherently less active when it comes to throwing stuff, door touches, etc?
