After an 8 month wait the Air-King VSF is finally in.

Got some eyes poking around and asking. Do you just tell them it’s a rep, say it’s genuine, or avoid the question?

I think the unoriginal, boring, boring sheep people have moved onto something else.

Latest purchase a VSF V2 Daytona Ghost for me and QF DD36 pink dial for my daughter. Both coming in a sweet zipper hardcase 👌👌👌😎🙏 love my TD!!

Can someone direct me to a side by side comparison of these if they know one? Trying to find one but can't seem to. If there's no pics can someone let me know how close the dial colors are?

I’d love a gold Daytona but I’m reading a lot about having to plate it after I’ve purchased the watch. So my question is the watch states it comes gold plated ‘Case : 18k yellow gold plated 1:1 replicated solid 904L stainless steel case, add weight case’ so why would you plate over gold plating? Or have factories come along since some of the previous posts?

I’ve now been searching for days, reading reviews, looking through wiki etc and can’t make a decision on this. Rolex reps so easy in comparison except Daytona panda which also has lots of optionality.
Anyway I was looking at a white dal 15510 and settled on top. But then along comes octa. Read some comments on it here and a small thread but nothing substantive actually comparing octa to vsf and top.

For anybody that’s looked into this how does idea compare. I know movement is free sprung but are the engravings etc better and closer to gen?

What about bracelet thickness? Dial colour and texture? Case shape and finishing?
Would really appreciate input from anyone who may have handled it.

I bought an Omega NTTD 007 from Andrew at Trusty Time when they first came out. The watch stopped working, and I took it to my friend/watchmaker her in Detroit. He told me "This is shit - just get another one" the movement was some scaled-down crap ion a plastic holder.

I'm asking the brain trust here - who has the best version NOW, and through which TD ?-BTW - Trusty Time has been otherwise.......... trusty.

Has the VSF Air King been given an update in the last few years? I feel like the 3 6 9 has improved and looks closer to gen.

Our NWBIG list has clean as the only true NWBIG, but unsure if that's outdated. Anyone have any insight on the Air King from VSF? Is it NWBIG now? If not, why not?

I thought when I was looking at US based sellers I saw some do testing and regulating for you and could have sworn I saw someone claiming to do some waterproofing and testing to 10-bar as a service.

Can anyone point me to who that is / if that claim is legit?

I’ve read a lot of reps will have failures at 5-bar even with service.

Hi does any one which watch stem to buy for the bp maker gmt master 2. It says 3285 when you open the watch case back.

I've seen a few watches on sale from vfs, but can't find any reviews on them.

I expect they are on sale as they are not popular or not accurate.

How is the rotor noise and is it really concerning/loud enough to feel weird?

Can some nice soul post a small video in silent surroundings so that we get an idea?

I have heard that some TDs do a rotor silencing mod but others say its not actually effective.

Hi, my VSF Daytona 126519LN came with E+F Oysterflex, but even on the tightest Glidelock setting it’s slightly too loose.
I only need one E-size strap side to make it E+E.
My dealer can order it for $40 + $15 shipping, but it’s not in stock.
Does anyone know where I can buy one single E-size VSF Oysterflex side? Or is there a better compatible option?
Also, is a slightly looser/less solid clasp feel normal on VSF compared to CF?
