My name is Laura, and I organize Build After Dark - we host free, in-person AI workshops in San Francisco for small business owners. No technical background is required.

More About Us
We ran a workshop in the spring for 30 women in the city to learn how to use AI for the first time, including a couple of independent small business owners, and they loved it. We also realized by talking to them that small businesses are getting left behind, and we're spending our free time running workshops to bring everyone along for the AI journey.

Workshop details:
- September 12 & 13, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
- In person in San Francisco
- Free, limited to 20 small business owners

It'll cover AI fundamentals, demystify the tools, and help you set up your accounts. Hopefully, you walk away with 1 painful time-consuming task (e.g. custom-order intake or production tracking) becoming much easier. We're going to have like-minded mentors who work in AI and share a similar social mission as us helping out.

Our goal is for you to leave with something working, the confidence to keep building, and connections with other local e-commerce owners.

Because the sessions build on one another, we’re prioritizing owners who can attend both mornings. Hope to see you there!

We're bringing our storytelling show About Last Night back to SF this Friday September 4th at Make Out Room in the Mission!
