General Question Can magnesium electrolytes help with cramps?

Upvotes

I want to try magnesium electrolytes for cramps and recovery since I’ve been dealing with it more lately. I don’t really want to use something loaded with sugar or a ton of salt just for hydration. I’ve been reading that magnesium can help with muscle function and recovery so it seems worth trying. I was thinking of using Magna since it’s magnesium based. If anyone tried it I’m interested to know if it helped

Recommendations Glutathione as RiboCeine Patent

Upvotes

RiboCeine can only be manufactured by one company and is sold for around $80 on amazon. Is there a cheaper alternative that’s trusted?

Oral glutathione capsules shouldn’t be taken because it’s destroyed in the stomach.

Glutathione IV can cost over $10,000 annually.

Cellgivity has RiboCeine (made by same manufacturer) and cost around the same $80. Amazon seems like the very few ways to purchase them which haven’t heard about dupes/fakes from amazon yet.

Glynac aka Celltrient Protect Capsules around $80, but people say take NAC and glycine as separate supplements. Glycine $11 and NAC $6 the cheapest so far.

Side effects like digiestive, in uric acid at risk gout and
“High concentrations of ribose reacting with body proteins through a non-enzymatic process called glycation, forming harmful advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) much faster than glucose.”

I plan to get my levels from doctor; ribose and glutathione so i dont have excess when taking supplements. Is there any other labs I should ask about?

But which oral method do you find most effective, where do you get yours?

Recommendations Is this safe?

I was given this by my medic due to a dosage of b12 of 30pg/ml.

(Update) Ok so the image won't work but it's multi vitamins of B1 125mg B6 140mg B12 5000mg

I'm afraid of neuropathy for the 140mg of b6, my medic told me to take them for a month to see if the b12 goes back to normal.

Has boron helped your sex drive/ libido?

I (44m) started taking boron an out a month about 3mg morning and 3 evening. I took it for a couple weeks and then stopped for a week cause that’s what I read to do. I noticed after about a week I started to get turned on all the time. I’d get erections when I’m driving like I haven’t for a long time. I still get erections at night but seems to be more pleasurable erections now with the boron. I’m not complaining at all cause I love the sensation but I’m trying to narrow if it’s boron. I feel it is cause after the first week I started feeling different then I took a break and things settled. I’m back on it now and it’s happening again. Can I continue to take 6mg per day? Or will it have negative effects long term?

Small magnesium glycinate tables or capsules

Hello!

I struggle with swallowing pills and I like taking magnesium but the only ones I can find are huge capsules usually around an inch. I was trying to find out if Thorne’s capsules are small, but I can’t find any info. Does anyone have any recommendations for smaller mag glycinate capsules?

What’s going on with Pure Vitamin Club?

Placed an order on July 15 and it still hasn't shipped. Reached out to customer service and received the following...

July 15: Placed order.

Aug 7: Reached out to CS and asked about my order.

Aug 10: They responded "It looks like it's on hold waiting a verified shipping address. If you let me know your best shipping address I can have it shipped (or refunded for you) ASAP."

Aug 10: I replied with my shipping address, which was obviously included in the original order. I don't know why they needed it again.

Aug 20: After no response, I asked if they still needed anything from me.

Sep 1: Still no response.

I know they're a legit company, I used to get their stuff all the time, but it's been a few years. Anyone have any recent experience with them?

Magnesium Causing Loss of Effectiveness of Vyvanse?

I started taking the Nootropics Micromag and I have noticed it seems as if my Vyvanse isnt as effective as it usually is. I also notice I am SOO tired, like exhausted tired. I have a desk job, so it's not like I am physically exhausting myself. I don't feel anything has changed in my life, other than starting these after finishing my bottle of Qunol Mag Glycinate.

I know the Micromag is supposed to be a mix of different forms of Mag, so could this be the culprit? I feel I am a bit more irritable, but I am unsure if it has anything to do with that.

General Question Multivitamin and helping anxiety question

Hi. I am a 27 year old Male who has had anxiety and panic disorder since I was a little child. I have taking every drug the doctors have given me and nothing ever works. I recently started taking a multivitamin for basically no reason other than I changed my diet and thought I was not getting enough vitamins, but eating less helped my anxiety. So I started. A few weeks in I realized my anxiety level was soooo much lower and had basically no idea, didn't think about it being the multi, then they stopped stocking or making the one I used, so I stopped taking it. Almost instantly a few days in my irritability was super high and I felt tense and overly aware and alert, then I started developing problems with muscle weakness and twitching, ai have winced started a different multi but I don't feel like I did on the other one. Tho it is improved from nothing. What vitamin could be causing this? From my basic research I kinda thought it was b12 at first but I started taking a dedicated B12 and it seems to have made things worse. So now I am lost, currently I am taking b12, d3, and magnesium. I feel very shaky and weak but mentally okay ish. Any advice would be helpful thank you. I felt like I was close to finally be free from anxiety 😅

How long before tongkat ali works?

Adult male, healthy diet, zinc, magnesium, potassium, and fats are all within recommended levels.

I started Nootropics tongkat ali last week. Micro-cycling 5 on/2 off and I'm at the end of week two now and haven't felt much.

Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to take effect?

General Question Tadalafil gives me rock hard erections, but without Tadalafil, I just can't get it up.

I am a 30 year old Man.

I have an active sex life but each time I have to do sex, I have to consume Tadalafil. (2.5mg / 5mg)

Without Tadalafil, I find it difficult to get it up.

Need guidance on how I could solve the issue and get erections without Tadalafil.

Other health issues -

  1. Severe Anxiety

  2. Severe OCD

  3. Penis hangs off pubic bone

  4. Penis erections at night are angled at right and at left but during sex, penis is straight and centred.

  5. Blood sometimes feels rushing into my penis but it just doesn't get up.

Erections feel suppressed, like blood is flowing, but it just won't get up. With Tadalafil 5mg, it went straight up and had the best erection and sexual experience.

Sometime in November 2025, I went paranoid and consumed multiple antibiotics, antifungals and HIV PEP meds. I noticed at night my penis would get completely elongated but not hard at all and when I would turn in bed, it would swing from left to right giving immense pain at base. As time passed, the swinging came considerably in control.

Please guide as I want natural hard erections without any medicine.

Experience Nothing works for sleep!

Despite that i work most of the day from 8am to 10pm, when i go back home i can't sleep, until 4 or 5 am.

Tried some supplements,

Magnesium glycinate, herbal teas and several supplements formulas which have valerian, passion flower, lemon balm, l theanine and didn't do anything.

Then after some research here decided to try low dose melatonin, 500mcg, then 1 and 2 mgs without noticing anything positive or negative.

General Question Vitamins for general health and ADHD?

I'm a 32 year old female, 135 lbs. I have no known health conditions other than ADHD. ADHD is severe though. I'm on 25mg adderall xr, but take no other meds. Not looking for medication advice, what I take works for me for now.

Here are the supplements I take (when I'm organized enough to remember):

  • multi vitamin (because why not)

For bone health, as recommended by my mothers physician when she had a severe fracture 20 years ago. Her doctor said she had low bone density and recommended I take these preventatively:

  • vitamin d3 and k

  • calcium

I've been low in the following, so I take them:

  • B12

  • iron

For adhd I take:

  • omega 3s

  • zinc

  • creatine (for the general cognitive benefits)

For sleep:

  • magnesium

  • melatonin (5-6 times a month. I get nightmares if I take it more than 2-3 days in a row)

For hair health:

  • Pumpkin seed

Anything else you'd recommend for ADHD health?

Unfortunately I'm not the best at taking them all consistently, but I try. Sometimes I only take whatever pill box is closest, sometimes I take them all, on a good day. Sometimes I forget entirely lol. I don't like swallowing pills so most are in gummy form.

General Question NAC vs GLY-NAC

Can someone explain to me what the difference here is? I initially started taking Gly-NAC to regulate liver enzymes. I then came to find out that NAC also can calm thoughts. I need this. The GLY-NAC seems to do absolutely nothing for me mentally. I need to find out if NAC will settle down the things that roll around my head nonstop.

Recommendations Recipes for casein so it doesn't taste awful?

Hi. New here.

I (23M) have been hitting the gym for 6 months or so, and I lost some weight, but haven't really built any muscle. I went to the doctor and he told me to use casein.

I don't really understand much of supplements like protein powder, so I didn't ask about whey or other proteins, so I got the casein.

I got the cookies and cream gold standard and it's... Just awful. The flavor is acceptable, but the consistency feels like having a drink with sand or chalk, I have even tried to make a pudding with less milk and I think it is worse. I don't like to waste, so I end up just gulping it.

I'd be grateful for any ideas of how to make it more enjoyable, like recipes or some tips. Thank you
