Seeking Advice Transitioning from Electronics/Maintenance to Railway Industry — What to Study?
I’m very thrilled to share that I got a job offer in the **railway industry!** 🎉 I’m excited to be part of one of the first major railway projects here in the Philippines.
I have 3 years of experience in maintenance and supervising people, but my background is more on **electronics**, so railway systems—especially the **3rd rail system**—are quite new to me. They’ll provide training, but I’d like to prepare beforehand.
For those in the railway industry, **what electrical and mechanical concepts should I refresh or study for a 3rd rail system?** Any recommended resources or topics would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! 🙏
