Question/discussion Why is ace seen as less valid than others?
I've heard a lot of people say that asexual people shouldn't be included in LGBTQ+ because we aren't exactly straight or gay. We just don't experience sexual attraction. Speaking from my personal experience, I still feel like I'm somewhere on the spectrum, but sometimes it feels like we're seen as less valid than other identities.
I'm genuinely wondering what everyone's opinions are on whether ace should be included in LGBTQ+. Personally, I believe it should be, and I say this as a proud ace myself.
