The computer is still on, and i can use it with external display, I've tried everything from recovery mode to safe mode to repeatedley turning it on and off countless times, to no avail. Sometimes it shows the backlight on a blank \black screen, but the screen is mostly completely off. One time it got back to normal but as soon as I closed and reopend it it was fucked again. 2022 Macbook Air M2

Was digging through some boxes earlier today when I came across my dad's old iPod Touch 2nd Gen, and wanted to see if it still worked

I've had it plugged to my old 30-pin iPad charger for about 3 hours now, and it's been flashing between this screen and one with the Apple logo, what's wrong with it? I assume some part of its hardware is shot or just eroded, but I would like to have a more accurate idea before I take it to the Apple store or something like that

All other handoff features work, except copy & paste. I've turned it off and on, logged out and in. Everything is on bluetooth and on the same network. I don't know what else to try.

Basically what the title says. I’m staying with my dad currently. The Amazon cube and TV showed up and connected up after the update. Neither I even connected to, but that’s a different issue. Why can I not remove these? I don’t want them there and I don’t want to be connected. It’s not affecting audio or anything at this time but I should be able to remove anything, it’s ridiculous to not allow that

Is anyone else having this issue? I’ve done your standard trouble shooting/reset/power off/etc stuff.

I just bought a pencil pro and did what the support website said in letting it charge on the side of the iPad if it wasn't pairing, my iPad is up to date, and Bluetooth is on. Is there something im missing? The pencil popup isnt happening at all and im a first time apple user so any advice would be appreciated thank you!

I have an old iPhone 11 that is connected to my iCloud account. My bf broke his phone and is going to borrow my old phone as an emergency phone until he buys another one.

I just unlocked it to clear it, and it contains messages from deceased relatives that I would really like to have saved in my phone (since I got my current phone I’ve had that messages automatically deletes after 30 days so they’re not on my current phone).

How do I transfer the messages?

I upgraded my phone back in march from my iPhone 13 to this 16 plus and I noticed my old journal entries were gone. I did some research and it said that it may take time for them to sync to my new phone and since then nothing has changed. Is there any way for me to get them back??

Is it possible for someone unknown to you to send you a reaction to a specific workout if you're only sharing with select people?

Weirdly got a message with a preset 3 target emojis reaction to a activity I had completed earlier (didn't help that in Messages on Mac it strips the activity from the message so looks like someone annonymous was oddly pissed at me).

The odd thing is that while I do share my activity, I share it with only 3 people and none of them have this number nor have recently changed numbers (edit: none of them sent it either).

Wondering if this is a "known" thing. Obviously can just brush it off as some glitch or spammers finding a new way to start a conversation but its offputting that this would be possible.

The display is flickering, and sometimes visual artifacts appear where the previous window/tab remains partially visible and overlaps with the current one, as if the screen isn’t refreshing properly.

Any idea what's the cause? how much will cost? Will I need to change entire display?

So I get a notification that my storage is almost full and I see the first picture, I screenshotted it to show to someone, I look up an article about debloating iOS or system data, dont really learn much from it or do anything at all, I go back to look and now 20GB are freed? I can assure you these screenshots are minuted apart I could even send the metadata in replies, but anyone have any idea about this? I dont want to be too skeptical and jump to conclusions but its very curious it happened right after I looked it up. Any ideas?

The Apple help website isn’t making much sense at all.

Essentially, if I choose the “keep for 30 days” option, it will delete all past messages. Will it keep it in the cloud, off my phone, still accessible? Or is it gone for good?

Same applies to photos. I want to offload to the cloud to free up space on my new device but I’m confused about the process.

My iPhone 16 seems to behave weirdly recently.

Among other things, my girlfriend called me today and I've never heard the call or received the notification about it. When we met, she asked me why I didn't pick up, and explained her the situation.

On her iPhone the call is shown as rejected, while on mine it's shown as answered on another device.

The only other device that is connected to my Apple Account is Macbook but never used it at that moment.

iOS is updated to the most recent one 26.6.1.

Couple of weeks ago I've also noticed FaceID turning on on my status bar, while it's completely turned off.

Only these two devices are logged on my Apple Account.

WTF is happening with iOS?

How do I turn this feature off? I’ve tried turning off auto ear detection and nothing changed.

I’ll be on a run and sweating and needing to adjust the pod in my ear and it pauses, so I have to readjust again to get it to play. And then I do the other ear and I wind up adjusting the thing 4 times. Very frustrating. Is there any way to turn this off? Thanks

I just got a notification that a new ipad was added to my account…first of all, no there wasn’t. The ipad listed under my devices is the one I’ve had for 5 years. But it did bring to my attention these “devices” I don’t recognize/have no idea how they would’ve gotten there.

For context, the living room TV in my house used to be a Roku before we got a Fire TV, the one in my bedroom is a Fire TV, and my Xbox is connected to an old LG TV.

My question is how would these TVs possibly be added to my account? And what’s the weird Amazon AFTDEC012E device listed? Is it just the second Fire TV in my house?

Another probably important detail is that I have in the past used the Fire TV and Roku remote apps when I lose the physical remote and don’t feel like searching. So this would’ve connected my phone to the TVs, is that enough to add it to my account??? That would seem strange. Plus, I got a new phone recently and haven’t used those apps since I had my old one.

Recently my airpods pro 3 keep on disconnecting from my iphone when using them. While listening to music they just disconnect and reconnect after a little while. If I try to open my bluetooth settings whilest the disconnecting happens, my phone completely freezes.

It is extremely, extremely annoying, does anyone have a fix?

Gonna get an iPhone for the first time, currently using a 6.5inch phone Huawei Y9 and deciding wether to get the base iPhone 15 or the iPhone 15 Plus. To me: the iPhone 15 is better because at 6.1inches it'll be a new experience because I've never used a phone that small before, but at the same time I don't wanna be missing out on the better battery and larger display of the Plus. So I'm asking if the bigger screen really does matter all that much since I don't really play games that require a larger screen or watch youtube on my phone, just basic social media and light everyday use. (Don't recommend a phone other than those 2 because I cant afford anything more expensive than them im broke asf).

I'm losing my mind here. At the beginning I wanted to sign in to my apple account on app store on my iPad 9 and it didn't work when I entered the password and it said failed to verify and check your connection. The password was 100% right, I signed in on the apple website and it worked. I tried everything, resetting the network, tried another network, restarting the iPad, nothing worked. And now even on the website it doesn't sign in anymore and it says failed to verify try again later. I can't sign in any other account on my app store either because it says the same thing, I can't even log out of the whole apple account on my iPad because it says the same thing when I enter the password to log out. I can't even reach apple support because I can't sign in any account and my country isn't supported for live support. What am I supposed to do now, I'm losing it

I’m trying to access old iCloud Photos, and I have multiple Apple IDs. When trying to sign in to one of them, it says my account is locked for security reasons and I need to unlock it. The options it gives me are to unlock by email, which I can’t do cause I’m assuming it’s getting sent to my icloud mail that I can’t access because I’m locked out, and not any of my other emails. The second option is to do so by answering security questions but enter my DOB first, and for whatever reason it’s saying my birthday is incorrect and I can’t proceed with the security questions. Is there any hope of still being able to access my account by contacting Apple support? I can provide a screenshot of the account in my password app, if that helps as proof that it belongs to me.

First of all I apologize for the low quality pictures, I have a paper-like screen protector on. As stated in the title, my iPad keeps glitching, t​hen the screen will freeze, then it will restart itself. Sometimes I can get into the iPad but not do anything besides launch and try to close apps, other times I can't get past the password. I've seen some posts saying this problem needs a screen replacement, but the photos in those posts looked different than mine and didnt mention constantly restarting itself. For context this is a 1st generation iPad Pro running iPadOS 17.7.11.

So i got an ipad 6th gen (a1893) from a family member and its got some really weird issues and i have tried everything i know to solve it. It suffers from some kind of weird NAND issue and it always boots into dfu mode like ALWAYS and when i did a hardware report it showed ipadOS 0.0.0??? Ive tried booting pongoOS but it fails cause of it booting into DFU mode and i REALLY dont feel like having to get the board fixed/replaced, im fine with running os's from the ram and i just want it to be something to experiment with and id already be happy if i can just get it into some kind of interactive shell or something and also when i try restoring it like it does show the apple logo and the little bar but no progress is made and the bar just hangs a bit at 0% and then just fails
