I have an iPhone with family parental controls and I need to get into iMessage to get a code for a new google account but when I click on the message it shows this: And I had managed to get around this before by going through a email on iMessage but I can’t recreate it again, any help would be appreciated ty and feel free to ask questions as this isn’t very detailed

• /var/log/install.log contains exactly three dates: 2026-06-27, 2026-08-30, 2026-08-31. The last June 27 line (line 3366) is followed immediately by Aug 30 (line 3367).
• The boot ledger (last/wtmp) shows zero events between June 27 and Aug 30. No boots, no logins, nothing.

AUGUST 30, 2026 - ME, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER

• 19:23:13 (+06, my local time) - "hello started"
• 19:23:18 - "User input detected: mouse moved" - the first human touch ever recorded on this Mac (mine)
• 19:24-19:27 - Setup Assistant runs (_mbsetupuser session); /var/db/.AppleSetupDone created 19:27:57
• No other username has ever logged in (deleted accounts would still appear in the boot ledger - none do).

APPLE'S OWN RECORD

• checkcoverage.apple.com shows warranty until Aug 29, 2027 - anchored to MY purchase date. So Apple's servers have no earlier activation, consistent with the June session never connecting to any Wi-Fi.

MY QUESTIONS

1. Does Apple's factory QC ever boot a finished retail unit to the customer Hello screen ~5 weeks AFTER the factory image was mastered (May 21 -> June 27), and then force it off? Or does a truly factory-sealed Mac's install.log begin with the customer's own first boot?
2. If not Apple: is "charger plugged in, no input, forced off after 6 minutes" consistent with an importer/reseller bench test - i.e., a US unit opened, tested, re-packed and re-sealed before export?
3. Is there ANY way to tell where the June 27 boot happened, given the machine was on factory-default clock and never touched a network?
4. Anything else I can check locally to narrow down who did it?

TL;DR: Sold as sealed new. The Mac's own logs prove it was opened and powered on once - 6 minutes, Hello screen only, charger plugged in, forced off - 64 days before my setup. Battery at 3 cycles, no prior accounts, no wipe, Apple warranty starts with me. Apple factory QC, or the seller's chain? If you work in Mac repair, retail, or QC, I'd genuinely value your read. Happy to paste more log lines on request.

Should it be labeled as largest process for backboardd or is there something wrong with the iPad?

My girlfriend and I share an Apple One Premier family plan. Recently, we've been having issues accessing iCloud, although everything was completely fine a few days ago. All other subscriptions are correctly shared (Music, TV, and Games), but iCloud has been the issue.

We tried going into Settings > Family > Subscriptions > iCloud+ > Use Shared Plan, but when we click it, nothing happens. Neither of us can use the iCloud storage. Has anyone else had the same issue? How did you solve it?

A few additional details that may help:

• She pays for the subscription and is the family organizer.
• Her subscription email is different from her account email (though we've never had a problem with this before).
• We've tried this on both our iPhones and Macs.

First of all I apologize for the low quality pictures, I have a paper-like screen protector on. As stated in the title, my iPad keeps glitching, t​hen the screen will freeze, then it will restart itself. Sometimes I can get into the iPad but not do anything besides launch and try to close apps, other times I can't get past the password. I've seen some posts saying this problem needs a screen replacement, but the photos in those posts looked different than mine and didnt mention constantly restarting itself. For context this is a 1st generation iPad Pro running iPadOS 17.7.11.

So last year, my aunt gave me her MacBook Air M2. Before she gave it to me, it was completely clean and ready to use, with no Apple ID connected. I made my own account on it and then left the MacBook at our province.

After around 10 months, I decided to use it again, but I completely forgot the password. I already submitted an account recovery request through Apple’s iForgot, and I still have access to the email and phone number connected to the account.

Is there any other way I can regain access to the MacBook or reset it if the account recovery request gets declined? I don’t have the original receipt since it was given to me by my aunt, and I can’t reach her at the moment.

So I went into the store a few months ago to try to find out why my apple TV account had been suspended. We were getting it through our phone carrier, and so we hadn't missed a payment. Their response was we dont know why it was suspended, and we cant reopen it for you or tell you why we cant reopen it. Like I am a 007 over here. (I'm not; I'm a massage therapist lol) Now we got our daughters' iPhones, and so I was going to just open a new account with them, and for whatever reason i cant. I am not tech-savvy at all, and I have no idea what happened. Its like Apple has a personal vendetta to settle with me, in which I have no understanding of how I wronged them. LOL, can someone please help me understand something?

Found dead pixels on my iPhone 17 which is 8months old, took it to Apple and they told me the display will be replaced under warranty. My friends and family members are pushing me to ask for a full device replacement since it's a new phone and once they replace the screen it'll be shown in the settings which will again hamper the resale value of the phone and also casting doubts on its reliability in coming years. Any suggestions or if anyone has faced something like this let me know guys

Are these scratches on the apple logo on my new m5 mac air? I have severe ocd and these are out of the box, is it really common to have these? Its only visible under specific angles and with a light source. The store is refusing a replacement as i live in india and they're saying its a cosmetic issue and cant be replaced. I just got a notification that a new ipad was added to my account…first of all, no there wasn’t. The ipad listed under my devices is the one I’ve had for 5 years. But it did bring to my attention these “devices” I don’t recognize/have no idea how they would’ve gotten there.

For context, the living room TV in my house used to be a Roku before we got a Fire TV, the one in my bedroom is a Fire TV, and my Xbox is connected to an old LG TV.

My question is how would these TVs possibly be added to my account? And what’s the weird Amazon AFTDEC012E device listed? Is it just the second Fire TV in my house?

Another probably important detail is that I have in the past used the Fire TV and Roku remote apps when I lose the physical remote and don’t feel like searching. So this would’ve connected my phone to the TVs, is that enough to add it to my account??? That would seem strange. Plus, I got a new phone recently and haven’t used those apps since I had my old one.

Recently my airpods pro 3 keep on disconnecting from my iphone when using them. While listening to music they just disconnect and reconnect after a little while. If I try to open my bluetooth settings whilest the disconnecting happens, my phone completely freezes.

It is extremely, extremely annoying, does anyone have a fix?

Gonna get an iPhone for the first time, currently using a 6.5inch phone Huawei Y9 and deciding wether to get the base iPhone 15 or the iPhone 15 Plus. To me: the iPhone 15 is better because at 6.1inches it'll be a new experience because I've never used a phone that small before, but at the same time I don't wanna be missing out on the better battery and larger display of the Plus. So I'm asking if the bigger screen really does matter all that much since I don't really play games that require a larger screen or watch youtube on my phone, just basic social media and light everyday use. (Don't recommend a phone other than those 2 because I cant afford anything more expensive than them im broke asf).

The display is flickering, and sometimes visual artifacts appear where the previous window/tab remains partially visible and overlaps with the current one, as if the screen isn’t refreshing properly.

Any idea what's the cause? how much will cost? Will I need to change entire display?

I have an old iPhone 11 that is connected to my iCloud account. My bf broke his phone and is going to borrow my old phone as an emergency phone until he buys another one.

I just unlocked it to clear it, and it contains messages from deceased relatives that I would really like to have saved in my phone (since I got my current phone I’ve had that messages automatically deletes after 30 days so they’re not on my current phone).

How do I transfer the messages?

I upgraded my phone back in march from my iPhone 13 to this 16 plus and I noticed my old journal entries were gone. I did some research and it said that it may take time for them to sync to my new phone and since then nothing has changed. Is there any way for me to get them back??
