Just curious about trying to get into an iCloud account that I lost awhile ago. I don't have access to the phone number on the account, because my previous phone was left behind with an ex who reset it and gave it to someone else. The recovery email is also the iCloud I cannot access, because that was the smart choice I made when I set it up. So that's where I am stumped. When I attempt to log in it'll tell me I've been locked out, which I then do the recovery process. I do have the debit/credit card info it request to prove the account is mine but doesn't seem to like the security code on the card? I think its because the card isn't active anymore but I have no clue. That leaves me with no way to prove the account is mine and any updates or information on the recovery being sent to the same email I'm trying to get access to. I guess id just like to know if anyone has had a similar thing happen and what the process from here would be, being that if by any chance they deem my account mine with 0 info provided there is no way of apple contacting me.

I have no idea what changed, but something did because when I call out, it immediately is a FaceTime call. 🤷🏼‍♀️I have the iPhone 17 pro, haven’t made any changes recently. Anyone have the same problem and how do I change back to normal calls?

anytime i get a text message except for the rare occasion my facetime will hang up. wifi and internet will be running well, and i’ve had this issue since i first bought my phone back in may.

the texts can be from anyone and i can be on facetime with anyone. some days are a worse than others.

i’ve reset my phone and updated it but the problem has still persisted.

I've had it plugged to my old 30-pin iPad charger for about 3 hours now, and it's been flashing between this screen and one with the Apple logo, what's wrong with it? I assume some part of its hardware is shot or just eroded, but I would like to have a more accurate idea before I take it to the Apple store or something like that

I have an old iPhone 11 that is connected to my iCloud account. My bf broke his phone and is going to borrow my old phone as an emergency phone until he buys another one.

I just unlocked it to clear it, and it contains messages from deceased relatives that I would really like to have saved in my phone (since I got my current phone I’ve had that messages automatically deletes after 30 days so they’re not on my current phone).

How do I transfer the messages?

The display is flickering, and sometimes visual artifacts appear where the previous window/tab remains partially visible and overlaps with the current one, as if the screen isn’t refreshing properly.

Any idea what's the cause? how much will cost? Will I need to change entire display?

I just got a notification that a new ipad was added to my account…first of all, no there wasn’t. The ipad listed under my devices is the one I’ve had for 5 years. But it did bring to my attention these “devices” I don’t recognize/have no idea how they would’ve gotten there.

For context, the living room TV in my house used to be a Roku before we got a Fire TV, the one in my bedroom is a Fire TV, and my Xbox is connected to an old LG TV.

My question is how would these TVs possibly be added to my account? And what’s the weird Amazon AFTDEC012E device listed? Is it just the second Fire TV in my house?

Another probably important detail is that I have in the past used the Fire TV and Roku remote apps when I lose the physical remote and don’t feel like searching. So this would’ve connected my phone to the TVs, is that enough to add it to my account??? That would seem strange. Plus, I got a new phone recently and haven’t used those apps since I had my old one.

Gonna get an iPhone for the first time, currently using a 6.5inch phone Huawei Y9 and deciding wether to get the base iPhone 15 or the iPhone 15 Plus. To me: the iPhone 15 is better because at 6.1inches it'll be a new experience because I've never used a phone that small before, but at the same time I don't wanna be missing out on the better battery and larger display of the Plus. So I'm asking if the bigger screen really does matter all that much since I don't really play games that require a larger screen or watch youtube on my phone, just basic social media and light everyday use. (Don't recommend a phone other than those 2 because I cant afford anything more expensive than them im broke asf).

The computer is still on, and i can use it with external display, I've tried everything from recovery mode to safe mode to repeatedley turning it on and off countless times, to no avail. Sometimes it shows the backlight on a blank \black screen, but the screen is mostly completely off. One time it got back to normal but as soon as I closed and reopend it it was fucked again. 2022 Macbook Air M2

I just bought a pencil pro and did what the support website said in letting it charge on the side of the iPad if it wasn't pairing, my iPad is up to date, and Bluetooth is on. Is there something im missing? The pencil popup isnt happening at all and im a first time apple user so any advice would be appreciated thank you!

I upgraded my phone back in march from my iPhone 13 to this 16 plus and I noticed my old journal entries were gone. I did some research and it said that it may take time for them to sync to my new phone and since then nothing has changed. Is there any way for me to get them back??

Recently my airpods pro 3 keep on disconnecting from my iphone when using them. While listening to music they just disconnect and reconnect after a little while. If I try to open my bluetooth settings whilest the disconnecting happens, my phone completely freezes.

It is extremely, extremely annoying, does anyone have a fix?

Found dead pixels on my iPhone 17 which is 8months old, took it to Apple and they told me the display will be replaced under warranty. My friends and family members are pushing me to ask for a full device replacement since it's a new phone and once they replace the screen it'll be shown in the settings which will again hamper the resale value of the phone and also casting doubts on its reliability in coming years. Any suggestions or if anyone has faced something like this let me know guys

I have an old locked icloud account I wanted to get into im not sure why but the recovery phone number is just a random phone number i have never seen. The only thing i have access to is the email and some semblence of what the old password was but every variation i try doesnt work. Is there anyway for me to get back into my account and could apple support help me?

So I went into the store a few months ago to try to find out why my apple TV account had been suspended. We were getting it through our phone carrier, and so we hadn't missed a payment. Their response was we dont know why it was suspended, and we cant reopen it for you or tell you why we cant reopen it. Like I am a 007 over here. (I'm not; I'm a massage therapist lol) Now we got our daughters' iPhones, and so I was going to just open a new account with them, and for whatever reason i cant. I am not tech-savvy at all, and I have no idea what happened. Its like Apple has a personal vendetta to settle with me, in which I have no understanding of how I wronged them. LOL, can someone please help me understand something?

hello everyone, was hoping for some apple help regarding my macbook :(

under login items and extensions, i have zero apps that open automatically at login which is exactly how i like it. however, everytime i open roblox (dont make fun of me theres fun games on there) i get a settings notification that “roblox will now open automatically at login. you can manage this at logins and extensions.”
so now everytime i open roblox, i have to go to settings and manually remove it from the “open at login” which is super annoying

anyone know how to turn this off?? it didnt use to do this, is it from a new update or something?

Does anybody else have this option in their iPhone settings? The information found online about this says that it’s a normal iPhone setting but 1. I don’t have a VPN or work/school device. 2. If it was a normal iPhone setting there should be a logo. I’m on the latest iOS update
