Random Question Successful, intelligent women who married men who seem completely clueless what’s the dynamic there?
I’m genuinely curious what makes these relationships work. Is it personality balance, emotional compatibility, shared history, or something else people on the outside just don’t see?

Random Question Do people actually get a new phone every year?
The new iPhone 18 is coming out and I wasn’t actually aware people change phones every year. What level of mass consumerism is that? I get that iPhones are a status symbol for a lot of people but I feel like once u get to a certain age u should stop caring about that. Most likely atleast 24. Some of u would rather pay off a phone for 1-2 years than get a phone you can actually afford cause u wanna look cool.
Every year people rave about the new iPhone while just getting a new one, I don’t think I see people with androids or Samsungs do it as often as apple users. To me Samsung and google pixel seem to be more durable and powerful than a lot of apple phones. My moms had the same Samsung ultra phone for like 3-4 years now and it works really well still. Almost like brand new. Some of us need to get a grip

Random Question Why do plus-size female models seem much more visible than plus size male models?
Plus size male models do exist, but they don’t seem to get nearly the same amount of attention or representation. Why do you think the fashion industry treats the two so differently?

Politics Question US Contingent Election Loophole?
I don’t believe the Constitution explicitly solves this, as im sure no one had quite expected it and has never happened; in the event of a Contingent Election, if a sitting Senator is a candidate in the CE and still has years left on their term, and the majority of states threshold is not met, AND goes past January 20th and theres an Acting President. That Senator could continue to serve in the Senate while their own (or opponents VP who that sitting Senator would vote for or against) holds the Acting President title. Is this logic correct, or did i miss a clause or something?

Random Question Does modern fashion sometimes cater to pedophilia?
Not saying every revealing outfit is wrong, but some trends literally mix childlike aesthetics with sexualized clothing, schoolgirl looks, pigtails, bows, “innocent” styling, etc.
Why is looking younger and more innocent increasingly treated as sexually attractive?
Why are childhood/teenage aesthetics being mixed with adult sexualization?
If these styles attract attention and sell, isn’t the fashion industry incentivized to keep pushing them?
Even if it isn’t intentionally made for pedophiles, aren’t we normalizing the sexualization of youth?
Genuinely curious what people think.
