I was just trying to get a cute video since she was in a petting mood. That didn't last long. Lol

Hi all! I just adopted some kittens! They are brothers and their names are Bhageera & Figaro.
I am looking to make them an instagram account and would love some help to create a clever username!
Pic of them for reference :)

💔 POSTING AGAIN — DAISY & MAISY ARE AT SERIOUS RISK OF GOING TO A SHELTER. PLEASE HELP KEEP THESE SISTERS TOGETHER. 💔
Pet finder link: https://www.petfinder.com/cat/daisey-and-maisey-428638f8-777c-4641-a3e7-ac34a42bc9c4/nc/charlotte/sunkissed-acres-rescue-nc1270/details/
I got a heartbreaking message from my rescue.
She told me that she may have to send 8 kitties to a shelter because she has no resources, no available foster homes, and no other rescues able to take them. She was so sad and heartbroken. Our rescue partner has already had to send a few kitties to shelters. 💔 Daisy & Maisy are among the kitties at the MOST risk of being sent to a shelter.
Our rescue is drowning right now. Every foster is already caring for 10+ cats (I am fostering 14), and we are struggling with both space and resources. Other rescues are overwhelmed and full too.
We fosters are helping the rescue as much as possible, but we have limitations now. This is an amazing rescue..one of the best I have ever seen..and I never want to see it shut down. ❤️
And honestly, that’s what breaks my heart the most. 💔 We don’t know what their future would look like in a shelter. If they are adopted from there, we may never know who took them home or where they end up. And if they are returned someday, how would we even know or be able to bring them back?
Our rescue is struggling right now, but I truly believe this is only a difficult chapter, not the end of their story. I just want these babies to have a safe, loving home where we know they are loved and protected forever.
When Daisy & Maisy were only 4 weeks old, their little world was turned upside down. They were found abandoned in storm drains behind a mall..tiny, scared, and alone without their mama. 💔
For two long days, they cried in that frightening place, waiting for someone to hear them. When we learned about them, we knew we couldn’t leave them behind.
Their rescue was an emotional roller coaster. As heavy rain started pouring down, our hearts sank. We searched and called for them, terrified that we had lost them. We felt helpless… until we heard a tiny, weak cry through the rain.
That little voice gave us hope. We searched tirelessly, and finally, they were both safe. 🥹🐾
These little girls had already experienced fear and uncertainty at such a young age. But through everything, they had each other. They became each other’s comfort, strength, and family. ❤️
Now, at 15 weeks old, Daisy & Maisy have blossomed into playful, sweet, loving kittens. Their bond is truly beautiful, and they need a forever home TOGETHER.
We never want to separate them. They survived their hardest days together, and they deserve to spend their happiest days together too. 💔
Please help us find the family who will open their hearts and home to BOTH of these sisters.

Please support us by adopting or sharing. We desperately want Maisy & Daisy to go from their foster home straight into a loving forever home..not a shelter. ❤️
They survived being abandoned once. Please don’t let them face another uncertain future.
They lost their mama’s protection far too soon… but they never lost each other.🥲
Please adopt or share. Let’s get these sisters from their foster home straight into a loving forever home..not a shelter. 🙏❤️

It was kind of amusing watching him flop around trying to shake it off for about 15 seconds but then after that I took it off of him. I've never put any kind of collar on him so I honestly just wanted to see how he would react. No cruelty happened and he got lots of extra love and treats immediately afterwards.
He didn't even seem upset just more like "what the hell is this thing and what is happening right now?"

I’m fostering 3 black kittens (2 bonded sisters + their friend from another litter) who came from the mean streets of LA/skid row .
I want the sisters (Annabel Lee (pink collar) and Poe (orange collar)) to stay together since they’re BFFs and ideally a really really good person would also adopt their friend Billy (green collar, 2nd and 3rd pic).
While they’re nervous/shy/scared w new ppl/environments, they’re (the girls) affectionate and fun once they get used to you. They are all generally quiet tho Annabel is the one who is most chatty.
Billy is a lot more touch averse and skittish but I’ve had him for the last 2 months and he has gotten a lot better at accepting pets. He no longer runs away when I enter the room and he lounges pretty comfortably out in the open now. He’s food motivated ! He’s great w other cats, just nervous around ppl. While I’m still working on him, he has really come out of his shell.

EDIT: thought it would be easier to respond to all here instead, apologies, first time poster. :) Mikasa has never had puppies, and has been spayed since she was five (I know, late!) about two years ago the vet noticed that she was producing milk even though she’s been spayed. Apparently when even just a little of the ovaries or uterus are left in the body, it messes with their hormones pretty good. Mikasa used to do this to my first dog (Wally) who was a considerable amount older than her when I got her as a puppy and Wally would get frustrated after a while of being over groomed. She never seemed to mother or play with him in anyway during cleaning, or after.
Then came Yuzu the street cat (he’s gross, but we still adore the little shit 🤣) his coat has gotten better with consistent high quality cat food + salmon oil. I.e, he’s not fresh off the streets smelling like the chicken strip we caught him with. He grooms himself consistently, but he’s still in baby mode at less than 2 so it makes sense that he thinks of her as a mom. My confusion is really just that Mikasa has never had ANY interest in any of our other three cats (4F, 11M,12F). She’s an anxious pup, so I’m happy that she’s found something that helps soothe her.
Thank you to everyone for your insight. I thought it might be mothering behavior, but just found it odd since she’s never done this with any of our other cats, had puppies nor any interest in playing with other dogs outside of my male lab, Gonzo.
I think I have a couple more videos of her following him around to groom, I’ll post them below since everyone seemed to enjoy the interaction. :)
My chocolate lab Mikasa (10f) has been with 3-4 other cats her entire life and has never groomed any of them. We picked up Yuzu (1M, void) a year ago this October. It started around 4 months ago, she consistently follows him around and cleans him. Her tail is wagging the entire time, she sometimes makes grunting/crying sounds while doing it. She will also bow as if trying to get him to play, but when he reciprocates she gets really confused and doesn’t know how to proceed. Does anyone else’s dog do this to their cats?

This is Gryffin. He is 13 years old screams like a banshee and is the first cat I’ve ever seen drift (he has no idea where his back legs are from a injury when he was a kitten) and he, also well, he looks like that.
