Drove 2 hours to pick this up, I just had to have it. Really want to keep this the way it is but also try and break them out. Any advice?

I found this in my roll of quarters to put into my register earlier today and was curious of why it is so different from other quarters.

This has a nice shine so I’m assuming some type of cleaning? What indicators do you see? I’m not an expert on catching cleaning. I’ve bought a couple from the same dealer and they guarantee them. I sent in a couple and they said if they were fake they’d pay for the coin and cost of grading. I just figure it’s going to come back details cleaned…. Teach me.

Formerly in an NGC MS64 ⭐️ holder for the quality surfaces and near PL fields. I thought I’d try cracking and regrading at PCGS, well the results were interesting. I don’t really know how it dropped two whole points this is nowhere near a 62.

It does have some strong die polish lines, it’s possible those were misinterpreted as hairlines.

Thankfully this is an inexpensive so no major harm dome

I did some research and found out 1895 Morgan’s are rare. Not sure if they are legit

A big boy coin and a cool looking one, the kind banknotes/coins seller gave it to me for free, an interesting thing about it is the sides are flipped 180 degrees so if you look at one side upright and flip it sideways the second side will be upside down, I don’t know if that’s intentional or not.

I recently purchased this Dutch Provincial 6 Stuiver (Scheepjesschelling) coin. It originates from the Holland/West-Friesland district and was minted in the year 1755. The reverse bears the text 'Vigilate deo confidentis'. The coin weighs 4.7 grams.

So far, nothing unusual before I started doing further research. The fact is that the combination of the specific year and the text on the reverse does not appear in any coin catalog i've seen so far. However, 1754 does appear in combination with the text on the reverse. Is there anyone who can help me further and knows more about this coin? Is this rare, and can anyone estimate its value?

I've attached photos of both sides. Any help from someone familiar with Dutch provincial coinage would be greatly appreciated!

I've been looking at the 2026 Best of the Mint releases and I'm wondering what everyone thinks of the idea.

I like that they're bringing back older designs in gold and pairing them with new silver companion medals instead of simply reproducing the original coins. The Mercury Dime set caught my attention first, but now I'm seeing the Standing Liberty and Walking Liberty designs too.

For anyone collecting these, are you trying to follow the whole series or just grabbing the design you care about?

I also want to know where you guys are finding the graded versions. I've seen the regular Mint sets but some of the slabbed examples seem a lot harder to track down.

This is a proof Philippines Centavo from 1906, minted in Philadelphia PA. They only minted proofs for this year for the Philippines (outside the Peso minted in San Francisco) and only 500 of them, as it appears collector interest had waned from prior years.

Saw the toning on this one and while I’m not usually a copper fan as much, there will always be exceptions to every rule. This one was $520, and would pay that any day everyday for this level of detail and color. Enjoy!

Always bothers me when I don't see the side of a proof because then im left wondering "is it silver?"

So I’ve got a 2026 enhanced uncirculated Morgan coming in and I’m considering getting it graded. I am not planning on flipping the coin for a profit, I want to keep it for my own collection. But most of my coins are graded, and getting this one early enough for first strike designation seems like it might be a nice thing to do. Plus, this being the only year (so far) of enhanced uncirculated finish and the only year (so far) of West Point minted Morgan dollars, and it being the semiquincentennial with the bell privy mark, seems like those additional facts might make this more appropriate for grading.

None of my friends or family are into coins like I am so I’m just looking for a group of like-minded people to talk me through the pros and cons! Thanks!
