Mod Post Community Updates

Greetings everyone!

As many of you are aware, our community has become overrun with posts that clearly violate our rules. We try our best to remove non-confessions as they come in, but many slip through the cracks. On top of that, our AutoModerator rules have become overly broad and often remove valid posts that should be allowed. The end result has been a steady decline in the overall quality of posts, and we want to fix that.

Confession Classifier

To get things under control, we are implementing a new system to accurately determine which posts are valid confessions and which are not. To do this, we are deploying a new tool called Confession Classifier, built specifically for this community.

Starting today, every new post will be reviewed by the classifier, and AutoModerator will no longer handle post removals. Because this app is designed to understand context better than standard keyword filters, we expect far fewer valid confessions removed by mistake and a sharp decrease in posts that don't belong here.

How it works

Each new post is read by an AI model (Google's Gemini), which decides whether it's a valid confession under our rules. Posts that clearly aren't confessions are removed; everything else stays up. You can read exactly what data is used and how it's handled in the privacy policy.

This system is brand new. We are monitoring it closely, but false positives will still happen. When the app removes a post, it leaves a comment explaining the decision. If that happens to you, you have two options:

  • Edit your post: Check the rules. If your confession can be edited to satisfy them, make the changes. The app automatically rescans posts it removed and will restore yours if the edit brings it in line.
  • Appeal to the mods: If you are certain your confession meets all requirements without any edits, send us a message and a human moderator will review your post and manually approve it if it belongs here.

Feel free to leave a comment with any questions or feedback you may have.

I beat up my biological dad after meeting him after years

So when I was 5, my dad (who was a single parent) gave me up to the foster system. He didn’t really try to make me understand. One day we just went out, he took me to this place, and he left without me after a quick conversation with the care worker.

Now I tried my best to forgive him throughout my life, but I always held a grudge. I never heard from him again, never talked to him, never searched him up either. I think I just hated him so much I didn’t want anything to do with him.

I’m 18 now, and I was previously offered a football scholarship at Ohio State. I don’t know how my dad found out about it. I don’t know how he found out where I was, but he ended up coming to the place I lived and trying to work his way back into my life.

When he found out I’d recently had a son and wasn’t taking my scholarship, he was rude and aggressive and I ended up hitting him. I hit him a lot actually, and he ended up running off.

I don’t know whether I should feel guilty about what I did, but I still hate him and honestly when I think of the event it doesn’t even feel like it was my dad I beat on.

I was one of the people who arranged for a rich guy to sleep with a Victoria’s Secret model and he paid a lot of money for it ( I broke an NDA for this)

Throwaway acc for obvious reasons.

About 14 years ago I helped sell a woman’s body for a night and I’ve carried that ever since.
A rich guy came to us ( I worked for people very high end in the fashion industry) wanting one of the biggest Victoria’s Secret models at the time. Not a lookalike. The real thing. We made it happen. I was one of the people who handled the arrangements, the price, the private suite, the NDAs, the timing, everything. He paid a massive amount of money. She agreed. I helped coordinate it knowing full well what was going to happen in that room.
She had a boyfriend at the time. From what we knew, he had no idea. She was cheating on him for the extra cash and never told him. She showed up looking exactly like she did in the shows, went into the suite with the client, and spent the night with him. From what came back to us, they had sex several times. He got exactly what he paid for. She left in the morning and went back to her regular life like nothing happened.
I told myself it was just business. Consenting adults. High-end arrangement. Whatever I needed to hear so I didn’t feel like a pimp. But the truth is I helped put a price on one of the top models in the world, facilitated a stranger paying to fuck her while she was in a relationship, and took my cut. I kept the secret for fourteen years.
I’m breaking the NDA now because the weight of it never really left. I was part of arranging that night. I helped make it happen. And I’m done pretending it was nothing.

I keep eating the candy my toddler steals from stores instead of returning it

My kid is walking but still barely talking, and lately I've discovered he has apparently started a very small shoplifting career.

The first time we got home from the grocery store and he was holding a Kinder bar, I genuinely thought I'd somehow forgotten paying for it.

Then a week later he produced a little chocolate egg from his coat.

Then another mini bar.

Now I've actually seen how he does it. While I'm distracted putting groceries on the belt, he'll grab something small from the displays near the register and just hold onto it. Nobody has ever stopped us. I assume employees either don't notice or see a toddler holding candy and assume the parent already paid.

He obviously has no concept that he's stealing.

I do.

And that's the confession.

Once I figured out what was happening, I still didn't go back and pay for the last couple things. I just waited until he went to bed and ate them.

A few days ago we got home, he pulled a Kinder Surprise out of his jacket, and my first reaction was literally, “Oh nice.”

I know I need to start checking his hands and pockets before we leave stores.

But for a short and shameful period of my life, I have knowingly been receiving stolen chocolate from a two-foot-tall criminal and destroying the evidence.

“Took advantage” of my blacked out wife after pub crawl

My wife has kind of a cnc kink and gets off to being “taken advantage of” when she has been drinking.

Last weekend, she went with a friend to a bar crawl and got completely plastered. She was posting vids of her taking shots with her friend on her insta, and towards the end of the day, she texts me a barely legible message telling me she is coming home.

When she eventually stumbled through the door, she tried to hide how noticeably trashed she was, but she reeked of booze and was slurring her way through her explanation of the festivities, often repeating herself and dropping her phone when showing me pictures of the event.

Eventually, she starts getting handsy and trying to messily make out with me with her booze breath. Shockingly, her drunken state was such an unexpected turn on, and we ended up having very sloppy, but great, sex. But man, she was sooo wasted.
She literally remembers none of it.

I Became a mean popular girl in highschool and caused a lot of shady drama.

I dated my friend's crush, i spread rumours, i anonymously went on the school's confession page and revealed some of my best friend's secret, i made a lots of back handed compliments. I collected some unattractive girls and manipulated them to do things for me not bullied them but manipulated so they would willingly do it. I dated two guys at the same time, i dated my friend's ex, I love bombed guys and then ghosted them. I spread rumours about myself on the school's anonymous confession page. I did it all of this just for the sake of becoming popular in highschool. Which i did ofcourse after doing all of this. Ofcourse i became popular. But not any of this will excuse what i did but u should hear some backstory and I'll explain all of this.

Until the age of 7, I was considered a really funny and bubbly child but when I came in second grade everything changed. My teacher targeted me a lot. For example, she used to beat the shit out of me. What was bad is that, she used to teach us all the subjects and she was our class teacher cuz we were only in 2nd grade. One time, she took a multiplication test I got a really good score in that she asked if I cheated. She wasn't convinced, so she wrote a question on the board and asked me to solve that in front of everyone, I got nervous and got the wrong answer. She grabbed me by the hair, pulled my head back and punched me then pushed me away and slapped me three times in front of everyone. One time, it got so bad that I lost one of my teeth when she slapped me. Lucky for me it was milk teeth and a new one came. She used to make me sit in the far corner of class, alone. I lost all of my friends.

Seeing this, three boys in my class, started to bully. They used to come to my seat during the last period (that was the only time where the teacher wasn't there) and said mean things to me. I used to sit alone and didn't have anything to do i just fiddled with my handkerchief, they took it , threw it in the bin, took it out and rubbed it on my face. Ripped my notebook, threw my pencils out the window. And I just used to cry. Eventually I told my parents bout this and they went to the principal and she called the boys and I got really scared that they would cause even more trouble now, so out of the three guys, the one who used to mostly stand behind and laugh, I said he does everything and these two never did anything. I was really scared, even tho, those boys were prolly 8-9 years old. One of the guys told me I should burn and die. One girl, every time I accidentally touched her, like standing behind her in a line and accidentally touching her by mistake, she would shriek away and say "eww you disgusting things eww" that hurt so much cuz why did she consider me disgusting? And still she used to eat all of my lunch.

I never told anyone about this, cuz no one believes that 2nd graders would do such a thing.this ruined my self image and confidence for so long, I became a really introverted, shy, anxious person in high school never got any male attention after that whatso ever even after I changed schools But then after 10th grade, I changed school for the again. And in 11th grade i thought this is enough, I got out of my shell, and made so many friends, started talking to different guys, now a part of many groups, have so many guy friends and became the "popular girl". And now in 12th grade last year of school I am popular and some people consider me "mean" i don't outright bully people. But I sometimes, make backhanded compliments, some remarks and caused some drama. Cuz I think that makes me feel and look confident and no one can do those things to me again. Even after so many years, after having the "GLOW UP" gaining popularity, guys, friends and confidence. A moment of being left out makes me overthink everything. (Please ignore any grammatical mistakes, English is not my first language)

I overexaggerate my trauma so people take it seriously

To sum it up, my family life isn't all that great. For an example, my father is an alcoholic and former methhead who used to threaten me while drunk and would demean me. I say that part, but I garnish it by saying he would hit me (he only threatened to, among petty things like pissing on my belongings).

He isn't the only family member I overexaggerated about. I've done it when talking* about my JW side of the family, saying they sent me to conversion therapy. They didn't. They made me feel ashamed of myself and cut me off when I was a teenager, but they didn't send me to conversion therapy.

This goes on for other family members, with various, truthful but less 'serious' reasons why I don't speak to them.

I feel like if I don't make it sound drastic, people won't understand how I felt and why I went no contact with my family. Why I'm so angry and why I want nothing to do with them. It became the new truth. I've lied to everyone. To my therapist, my spouse, to the closest friends. I feel like such a piece of shit, and if I backtrack now, I'll look like a scummy attention seeker, even if a lot of the things I said are true. It eats me up inside every time I think too hard about it. Why can't I be honest with my own fucking therapist???

I have an issue with daydreaming and lying, and i can’t live with it anymore

(Not using my main account for obvious reasons)
I am just realizing what i’ve really built in my head over the years.
When i was 8 i started making up fake people, making up their backstories, their friends, family members, pets etc. It went to a point where i introduced my real friends to these fake people on social media platforms, so they thought i was cool and had more friends than them. Not that they weren’t enough, i have no idea why i did that. I was able to constantly keep up with everything and never made any mistakes, not a single slip up. I did so until i was 19. Yeah. I’ve had 20+ identities that grew up over the years. As i got older, i didn’t really have much time to keep up, but i kept a few of them. My irl friends fell in love with my fake friends and it was really complicated and messed up. The worst thing, i have no idea why the fuck i did all that for. I am autistic and have been diagnosed since i was a kid, so i guess that could be the answer, but now i have no way of confessing to anyone as i don’t keep in touch with them anymore. I’m now 21 and go to uni, i can’t stop thinking about starting it all over again with my new friends (making new personalities and trying to make them real) I know I’m a horrible person but on the other hand, i think this might be a disorder of some sort, I always wanted to stop it, but couldn’t, so i just kept on going. I never told anyone, not even any counselor, teacher, therapist, psychiatrist. Nobody knows. This is the only thing about me that i never told anyone and it feels good to even write about it. Like a huge weight off my shoulders. I hope one day i can make some progress and talk to a therapist about this matter, and maybe even come clean to my ex-friends if i ever talk to them again. The worst thing is if i don’t tell anyone irl my life is ruined. If i tell anyone, my life is still ruined AND my social life is kinda ruined, and i don’t even wanna think about what others, involved in all this, could potentially feel. It’s crazy that i set myself up for failure at 8

The Two Sides of Catfishing - Catfish a girl for 10 years

Thumbnail
8 Upvotes

I catfished a girl for 10 years. When it started, in 2016, she was 18 and I was 22. We met on Habbo. I had never done anything like that before. For a few years, I would sometimes go on there and meet people, and I did lie to them about things in my life, but I never pretended to be someone else.

After a bad experience, I stopped going on there and stopped meeting people online for a couple of years. Then, at the end of 2015, I was bored and decided to go back to pass the time, but this time I decided to protect my identity. I chose a name, an age, a city, and simply interacted with people there for a while without putting my identity at risk.

Not long after that, I met this girl, and I got hooked on the way she treated me. I thought, “Well, flirting for a while can’t hurt. It’s the internet, it never goes anywhere.” And that was my first mistake: believing I could flirt with her without actually becoming emotionally attached.

We moved to WhatsApp, and the flirting kept escalating until, within barely a month, we were already confessing our feelings for each other, and after two months we became a couple.

Meanwhile, obviously, I didn’t just fail to tell her the truth about who I was—I built an entirely fake family, financial, and social life. During the first few weeks, I told her that I didn’t want a video call to ruin the magic of seeing each other’s expressions for the first time in person, and she agreed. We agreed to meet, but it never happened. I don’t remember what excuse I gave.

The thing is, the relationship kept getting more and more serious. I wasn’t able to stop because I felt loved in a way I had never experienced before, and she never pressured me enough for me to even feel afraid of being caught.

And this is the part I can’t get past. For 10 years, that first excuse for not video calling was enough for her to never ask again. We supposedly lived only two hours apart, and after that first attempt to meet, she never asked whether we could see each other. Even when my father got sick two years ago, she never asked whether I wanted her to come see me, which would be the normal thing to do in a relationship.

Because that’s what we were. We talked 24/7, behaved like a couple, had sex, intimacy, affection, and plans for the future (which I obviously knew were never going to happen).

She also ignored other very obvious signs, like seeing my real name on a banking app or on an official document and assuming it was due to some kind of computer error. And whenever she asked about something, I would give her some absurd explanation and she would just let it go. And there were many more things like that, some more obvious than others.

The thing is, three months ago she discovered the Instagram account of the person whose photos I had been using, and obviously that was the end of it. And what amazes me the most is that if it hadn’t been for Instagram’s algorithm, we would probably still be in that relationship today.

Although, honestly, I was already very tired and was planning to leave, especially after my father died.

Over these past three months, I’ve gone over the relationship again and again and again in my head, and I keep reaching the same dead end: “How could this have happened?”

I know I’m the one to blame. I started therapy two months ago, and although I still sometimes fantasize about getting her back, I’m being honest with myself and respectful of her.

But there are days when I feel angry at her, because I reach a point where I think, “Either she was playing me too, or she’s the most innocent person on planet Earth.”

The thing is, I know she wasn’t playing me. I know she is exactly who she says she is—100% confirmed. I’ve wondered whether she might have been in another relationship or seeing other people, but I genuinely don’t know when she could have maintained something like that when she was always available to me.

I’ve heard that woman cry on the phone simply because she thought I was angry with her. Just four days before the breakup, she had an anxiety attack because I was already preparing my escape plan and letting her see that I might move away. She was very dependent on the relationship.

And that’s where I reach the dead end. No catfish, no cheating. How can someone who seems confident, has a healthy environment around them, and is intelligent overlook and fail to connect such obvious signs?

To what extent did she need the relationship so badly that she was afraid to burst the bubble and ask me to meet in person?

I want to clarify that during those 10 years I never manipulated her by using illnesses or serious situations. Unfortunately, the only illness present during the relationship was real, and it took my father from me. Other than during the first 2–3 years, it wasn’t even a toxic relationship. In fact, it was very monotonous. There were no major fights. I never pretended to be the victim because of mental health issues, and I never tried to isolate her.

I’ll repeat that I know I am 100% at fault, and even though I never planned for it to happen, I should never have done it. And once feelings became involved, I absolutely should have stopped.

But I’ll always carry the question of what was going through her head for her to put up with something like this. I’m pretty convinced that she was looking for a long-distance relationship, and that achieving that goal, combined with a lot of idealization, made her stop paying attention.

But I have the feeling there was something more, and I don’t think I’ll ever find out. And that’s what makes me feel both more guilty and, at the same time, relieved.

Because I hurt someone who was that good.

But I also know that we were two pieces of a puzzle that fit together perfectly. We probably both needed to hide, we just did it in different ways.

I know what I did was incredibly wrong, so you can spare me the insults. I’m not going to feel any worse than I did when she asked me to take care of myself because she couldn’t stay after a lie like that.

I just needed to vent. Sorry for my English.

I still feel bad about what I did to an auto driver when I was in 9th standard

When I was in 9th standard, me and two of my friends went on a kind of trip to a local place in Bangalore. I don't remember the exact reason we went, but we spent some time at Tata Institute with some other friends too.

I didn't have much money with me that day. Whatever money I had was already spent on the bus fare.

When everyone was getting ready to go home, we all had different routes. My friends already knew that the place was near Malleshwaram 18th Cross, so they left. But I was curious and wanted to explore the place a little more before going home.

That's where I messed up.

I came out through the wrong gate and suddenly I had no idea where I was. I started walking around thinking I would somehow find the route, but I was completely confused.

I didn't have a phone or money with me.

I was actually getting scared and was close to breaking down. I could have easily asked someone if I could use their phone and called my parents, but I was too scared to do that. My brain was coming up with stupid thoughts like "what if they kidnap me?" or "what if they kill me for money?" So I didn't ask anyone.

Then I saw an auto driver and I was actually relieved because I thought I could just ask him for directions.

But when I went near the auto, he thought I was going to hire him and asked me where I wanted to go.

I got nervous because I didn't know how to tell him that I was lost and didn't have money. I was thinking what if he just ignores me or what if something happens to me.

So instead of telling him the truth, I randomly said that I wanted to go to the Central Bus Stop near Mantri Mall.

He said okay and I got inside the auto.

The entire time I was sitting there, my heart was beating so fast because I knew I didn't have money. I was thinking what would happen when we reached and I told him I couldn't pay. Would he beat me? Would he get angry? My mind was just overthinking everything.

When we finally reached the place, I told him to wait for a moment because I was "searching for change."

I got out of the auto.

At that exact time, another guy came and started talking to the driver and was asking him to go somewhere. The driver was asking me for the money and I kept saying "wait a moment."

Then when I noticed he was looking somewhere else...

I just ran.

I literally ran away into the crowd and disappeared.

I didn't even look back.

I don't know what the driver thought when I ran away without paying. I don't know if he shouted at me or cursed me or just forgot about it.

I still remember this incident even now and honestly I regret it. At that time I was just a scared 9th standard kid who had no phone, no money and an overactive imagination. I genuinely thought I was in some kind of dangerous situation.

The funny/sad part is that the auto fare was only around ₹120. I could have just told him the truth or asked someone for help instead of doing what I did.

I know it was wrong, and I still feel guilty about that auto driver sometimes.

I just wonder if he ever remembered that random kid who got out of his auto and suddenly ran away without paying.

I have spent over 120k USD on prostitutes/escorts.

At the risk of doxxing myself, throwaway for obvious reasons.

Yes, you've read the correctly. I'm a 36 year old male living most recently living in the East Coast USA.

Long story short, I grew up in a heavily sexually repressive environment of a) first Gen Asian immigrant discipline / rigidity and b) ultra conservative Pentecostal Evangelical Christian background (my father is/was a MAGA pastor, these past 2 years humbled him a bit).

In this environment, my sexuality (and later discovered my bisexuality) never blossomed and I was in a strictly heterosexual patriarchal misogynistic environment.

I was a virgin until 26 (I had anal sex at 22 with my first gf and we did anal to not get break any sexually repressive rules and environment at our church).

I ended up marrying at 26 to a wonderful woman who meets all my needs except sexually. She has heavy periods and endometriosis, which makes it painful for her to have sex. She gives me hand jobs and the occasional bj.

This, and my adoption of an Agnostic Atheist mindset, allowed me to rationalize the pursuit of prostitution as an outlet to my sexless but otherwise lovely marriage to a wonderful person.

Two catalysts led me to pursue prostitution as my mental and sexual healing outlet.

1) At my bachelor party, my also similar Asian Christian best friend since I was 4 admitted to breaking the vow me and him had together to remain virgins until marriage, and that he was screwing his (now ex) girlfriend since they met in college. My mind was blown. It's like he took a shotgun to my face. 8 years of glorious sex and he has having it while I steadfastly rejected my sexuality and prime early 20s.

This fucked me up so bad knowing I was about to enter marriage at 26 without having explored myself sexually like my friend clearly did.

2) The second catalyst was At 28, when my work colleague, a white guy a few years older, asked me if he could call a prostitute over while I slept in an adjoining hotel room at a work event in Houston.

That's when my naive first Gen immigrant mind realized it's okay to engage in prostitution as long as you are careful and respectful (I overhead and he later told how he was extraordinarily kind and respectful to providers who were working like we were working).

Then, fast forward a couple years and it all went to hell during COVID. Between my devoted to her job medical professional wife busy with COVID at her hospital to me being forced to work remotely at my Big City corpo job, and the decision for us to not have kids, gave me the freedom to spend ungodly amount of money to have sex with as many people as I could meet.

This includes work colleagues, random strangers and prostitutes. I've spent over $120k on prostitutes.

I have had sex with every race of woman you can think of. Ranging from early 20s to late 60s. From supermodel level to girl next doors to croaky cigarette addicted grandmas to everyone in between. White, Black, Hispanic, African, Asian, Indian, Native American. All over America as my job would take me to multiple cities across America including all the big ones.

I work exclusively with independent working women and no agencies or prostitution rings or pimps. I respect these women and never haggle or negotiate with them and give them their asking price. Always.

I've had multiple STD tests and I'm proud to say that I remain DDF (I take weed edibles though).

All told I probably have a body count of over 300 people, mostly cis women.

Judge me all you want, but I consider myself a highly decent and ethical person (leftist, socialist, pedo hating, equal rights for all, f the Oligarchy). I've never been in trouble with the law. I don't have a criminal background. I have spent many long years at respected companies as a hard working professional. I've grinded my way to multiple professional degrees.

Men need their draining.

My wife and I celebrated our ten years this year.

Thoughts?

The truth of what I did, and my regret, and how it ended my relationship.

The truth of what I did, and my regret. I caused the end of my relationship. I did so by doing some bad shit. I'm struggling with the guilt of it, so I am admitting it all here. I will preface it by saying i am now in therapy to help with these issues. And I have been fully honest with my therapist.

I went on her phone, on multiple occasions. The first time I discovered she was sexting another guy, this was a month into our dating. We hadn't agreed exclusivity, or rather just phyiscal exclusivity. We split but got back together. But that only led to the rest, and I carried on. Now fueled by the fear of what I had found the first time. Over the course of the 7 months I went through her phone on multiple occasions. Checking for infidelity, never found any.

At the end I took it one step too far. I found on her phone some random guys that she spoke to on the past were messaging her. Harassing her, trying to slide in her DMs etc. She hadn't even read the messages, or spoke to them.

So I blocked them, blocked each and every one. I just got so worried that they were better than me. That I would be replaced by them. Naturally she found out and ended things, and obviously i broke what minimal trust she had left for me.

I feel totally and utterly ashamed by my actions. I wish i hadn't of done it, not only because it ended my relationship. But because it was wrong. Deeply wrong. And I am racked with the guilt ever since.

Edit: Wanted to add that my trust issues run deeper. My previous long term relationship ended after she ran off with another woman. And my parents relationship ended because my Mum cheated too.

gambling bf made us broke and his friend is offering me money for sex

2.2k Upvotes

Basically as the title says, me and my bf already are just making minimum wage anyway, but lately he’s been really into betting. he made a few good bets at the start but has since lost us a lot of money. it’s looking like we won’t be able to make rent this month and he doesn’t even seem panicked.
He has this friend who makes quite a lot of money and knows about all of our issues. He basically implied that he’d be able to help us out with rent if I slept with him.
I don’t want to do it but honestly I’m feeling tempted. I just feel so broken and like at this point I’d do anything.

I was stealing from my family when I was a kid and I still feel guilty

I'm on the poorest side of society, my parents were always struggling financially and the rest of family didn't really care well its not really any of their business.

I was around 7 when it started. We went to my cousin's bday party, all guests were in living room I was playing at my cousins room.
I saw this beautiful pencil with purple rubber owl on it I was so jealous since she always had the best fancy stuff a kid could dream of.

I hid it in my sleeve and ran to my jacket to put it there. My heart was beating like crazy while having thoughts in my head "She wouldn't notice, one thing less for her is nothing. I deserve some too."

The time passed by, I was happy to have my new treasure but wasn't happy how I earned it.

Couple months later she was visiting my house and noticed that pencil. She asked where did i get it and said that she lost the same one and it was a gift from her teacher. Yet again my heart started being faster, guilty eating me alive.

I was lying to her eyes that it's mine and my mom bought it for me. Somehow she believed but wasn't so sure anyways.

Next time and fortunately last was when I went to play at her house. I was maybe 10. We were just fooling around with dolls. I noticed an iPhone under her bed. She said it's broken, doesn't work and her parents gave her to play with it. I was older than her so I knew a things or two about phones already. I tried to turned it on secretly and it worked.

After an hour of play I went home, but not with empty hands, but a phone. Don't know the model I think like iPhone 5/6, at that time and in my country it was the biggest flex to have it and it was expensive as fuck especially for me and my family.

But this time I didn't have thoughts as before. This one was more serious and I was actually scared to even have it in my house. I was using it for a day or some till the battery died. No one noticed it got lost but I knew that if something happened I have it with me.

I straight up ran to her house and gave it back saying I took it by mistake. They looked at me weirdly but let it slide.

Since then I didn't really like to visit them, it was making me too anxious, uncomfortable and extremely envious. I still feel bad and think about it often even though 10/13 years passed since.

Now i'm 20 and poor as always, still don't have stuff like she does, but that's something I have to live with. I'm still jealous of everything she has or can have cause I can't and that hurts me the most. I can only look at her socials as she shows off her new iPads, Macbooks, nails, brand new clothes and stuff while I'm using my old cheap phone and second hand clothes.

That's my confession mixed with jealousy. Please don't steal, I learned my lesson.

I Threw Away 9 Years of Love Because I Thought I Could Do Better

Upvotes

I threw away a 9-year relationship because I thought having more options would make me happier.
I don’t know if I’m writing this because I feel guilty, regretful, or because I finally have enough distance to admit what I actually did.
I’ve been with the same girl since school. Nine years.
For the first seven years, I was genuinely loyal to her. She was there before I had money, before I had a good car, before I upgraded my flat, before I started feeling like I had “made it.”
Then I started earning really well.
And something changed in me.
I became arrogant.
Suddenly, I started looking at my life differently. I had money, confidence, a better lifestyle, and most importantly, I started believing that I had endless options.
I also had fantasies and kinks that I’d kept to myself for years because I knew she wasn’t comfortable with that side of me.
Instead of communicating honestly with her, I convinced myself that I was missing out on life.
So I broke up with her.
Not because she had done something wrong.
Not because she stopped loving me.
Not because our relationship was toxic.
I broke up with someone who loved me because I wanted to experience what else was out there.
And I did.
I’ve had plenty of experiences since then. More partners than I ever imagined I’d have. I got to explore things I’d spent years wondering about.
And here’s the part I wasn’t prepared for:
None of it gave me what I thought it would.
Finding someone for sex is relatively easy when you have the confidence, money and opportunity.
Finding someone who genuinely knows you, cares about you, stands by you and makes you feel at home?
That’s completely different.
And somewhere along the way, I realised that the person I had spent years taking for granted had given me something I couldn’t simply replace with another experience.
The worst part is that I knew her value after I had already hurt her.
Even now, nine years of history doesn’t just disappear because you decide you’re going to “move on.”
I don’t want to paint myself as some tragic victim here.
I wasn’t.
I made the choice.
I was selfish.
I thought having more options meant I had more freedom.
I thought experiencing everything would make me happier.
I thought I could always find someone else.
Maybe the hardest confession is simply this:
I had something genuinely valuable, and I threw it away because I was arrogant enough to believe there would always be something better waiting for me.
I don’t know whether that’s something I’ll ever be able to forgive myself for.
But at least I’m finally honest about what happened.

I was the one who made a mess of the managers bathroom.

No damage or vandalism I just had an upset stomach, I went into the bathroom used it like normal but the bowl was left really dirty.

I flushed and the remains on the bowl clung on like I owed them money.

Multiple flushes I still owe them money, I look for toilet bowl brush, nothing.

I flushed again and nothing.

Defeated I walked away.

Owner brought up at team meeting mangers bathroom can used but respect it.

Owner tells everyone that OP is in office all day please don’t ruin their bathroom.

Workers got reprimanded for using my bathroom because I ruined it.

I plan on sneaking in brush for next time.

Slept with sisters best friend who has a boyfriend

I met my sister’s best friend at a party when she was there with her boyfriend, and I was drunk and told her she looked good. At the time I didn’t really think much of it, but a few weeks later she started coming round and we slowly started lowkey flirting with each other. Nothing was ever said outright at first, and nobody else seemed to notice the tension between us, but we both knew it was there. The more we drank together, the closer we got, and eventually we started sleeping together without actually having sex. Then one night we did have sex, and afterwards she admitted to me that she liked me and that if she wasn’t with her boyfriend, she’d be with me. But the next day she completely changed her attitude and told me that if I ever told anyone, especially my sister, we’d never speak again. I kept it to myself for a while, but eventually I told my sister, and even before she found out, me and her carried on flirting and seeing each other. For a while it genuinely started feeling like something more than just sleeping together. She was coming round practically every day for weeks, we’d spend loads of time together, cuddle, drink together and just be around each other, and even though she still had a boyfriend, it honestly felt like there was something special between us. Eventually she found out that I’d told my sister and I didn’t see her for a while, which made everything feel even more confusing. Now she’s started coming round again and today she was hungover and ended up falling asleep in my arms while I was cuddling her, and I honestly don’t know how I’m supposed to take something like that. I’ve been single for years and I haven’t slept with anyone for years apart from her, so I think that makes everything hit me a lot harder than it probably would have when I was younger. I used to sleep around when I was younger and could probably separate sex and feelings a lot easier, but now I’m older, I don’t really have that same mindset anymore. With her, I can convince myself I’m over it when I don’t see her, but every time she comes back into my life, all those feelings come back with basically the same intensity. She’s told me she likes me, she’s acted like there’s something between us, and we’ve had moments that genuinely felt like a relationship, but at the same time she still has her boyfriend and has never properly chosen me. That’s what makes it so difficult because I don’t know whether what we have is actually something real that she’s scared to act on, or whether I’m holding onto something that she can switch on and off whenever she wants. I know I have genuine feelings for her now, and after everything that’s happened between us, especially being so close again today, I’m finding it harder to just treat it like nothing.

I hooked up with someone while in a failing relationship.

I'm 23M Bi. I’ve been with this guy for about a month, but we’ve both started losing interest. We’re not really each other’s type, he’s emotionally/physically unavailable, and I honestly don’t know why we’re still together.

Last week, I told him I was going on a date with another guy. Nothing happened, but he got upset and almost broke up with me. I apologized, and things became somewhat normal again, although there were still taunts.

A week later, I told him I wanted to break up. He said he’s too busy to think about it right now and would decide in 2–3 weeks.

Then I got lonely and texted the guy from the date, and we ended up hooking up (not sex).

Now I feel guilty and confused. I already wanted to break up, but I don’t know if I should end things immediately or wait until he has time to discuss it.

Ps. But what about his feelings and genuinely care for him and wants this to end in good terms

Snitched on my friend and made her crush reject her then started talking to her crush

So, there was this one girl who went with me to school and came with me after school in the van. Eventually we became close like in weeks or so. One day, she tells me that she likes this guy and thinks he is hot. And that day i finally noticed him, like I knew he existed but that day I also thought that yeah, he looks nice. I went home and checked he does follow me on insta and even liked a few of my posts, I sent his insta ID to my friend and asked to follow him cuz she likes him, then I started talking to him, knowing my friend likes him but we just really matches the vibe in just a few days. And he was flirting with me from the beginning. 2 weeks after talking to him, I told him that this girl (my friend) likes you, and he said "god hell nah eww" and I sent the screenshot of this chat to her after a few days and she unfollowed him. And now, she is always talking bad about him to me all the time. He confessed that he likes me in a few weeks of talking and i rejected him but he just keeps coming back, i told him let's stay as friends FOR NOW, it's been 3 months now, he gives me gifts and gives me attention and we are still not dating.

I got involved with my friend's girlfriend. Feeling conflicted.

It started about a year ago after I was still with my then gf. One night we had a house party at my house after which all of our friends crashed at my place. It was me sleeping on one end, she was beside me, my friend (her bf) next to her and then a few people after that. We were very drunk and sleepy and at one point we were close enough that I could feel her breath. Our legs were on each other at this point and we were holding hands. Nothing happened that night. Following that, cut to a few months later (i had recently broken up) when we were at my house after another party. All of us were sitting in my room and were under a blanket. Coincidentally she was sitting beside me and somehow we were just holding hands the whole time. After that everyone just decided to sleep there itself and we ended up sleeping beside each other again. During the night she just took my hand and placed it under her shirt. One thing led to another and I ended up fingering her. We stopped it midway and then never spoke of it again. Since then it has happened a couple more times and we have kind of spoken about it but it just doesn't lead anywhere.

I’m not understanding what I’m gonna do but I’m going insane.

Me and my ex we broke up a year ago. We are still in touch. We meet now and then, hangout. Ever since her brother passed away which was 2 months ago we started meeting regularly, I helped her move her stuff and while packing she got a panic attack and broke down emotionally i consoled her a-lot. she got drunk with me and cried like hell i just consoled her and i cannot explain how broke she is after she lost her brother. The kind of depression she’s going through i always feel like i wish i had the power to heal her. She shut herself off completely from everyone and she’s not talking to anybody and letting others talk to her. I tried my best speaking to her but she’s not responding to me either. She just wants to be there and I’m being there for her. So, on Saturday we booked a hotel room just to get high bcz we had no place to get high. We tried everything but it was risky so we booked a hotel rolled and got high and we slept. I tried my best to not touch her, she was best at not touching me but my head was playing games with me. I wanted to sleep but something was not letting me. I’m moving alot trying to hold my hands and brain not to fuck it up by touching her and she looked at me and said your moving too much what is wrong i asked her if she wants to cuddle and she just opened her arms and i dived into her arms and we cuddled and slept like we used to when we were dating and when that happens i get hard always and i got hard as fuck. I couldn’t control myself. I started kissing her neck, touching her stomach and i don’t want to go deep into details but we almost had sex but we didn’t. She stopped. She got too anxious she said. I apologised for making her uncomfortable, she apologised for stopping me and we just left from there. Our ride back home was quite not a word from either of us. I dropped her home said bye and that was it. Yesterday i called her asking her if she wants to meet for a smoke and she said okay but texts me that it’s best for us if we don’t meet anymore. I hope you understand. I just said OK and never responded again. But I’m going insane. After we broke up the kind of depression hit me and before we got into a relationship the kind of depression i was in to get her is coming back to me again. The fact that i won’t be seeing her anymore, the fact that we won’t be in touch anymore it’s emotionally draining me. I wish i could have just controlled the animal inside me i would have had the privilege to at-least be there for her when she needs me. Now that i made her uncomfortable she doesn’t want to meet me anymore. I’m just going crazy.
