We automatically remove posts which are not flared with the appropriate topic that applies to your post.
If your post is not appearing after you make it, that's probably why. Check your flair and the bot should approve it in a bit. Before messaging the mods, check that first.
If you're not sure what to flair, then look at other posts to see what others have in the past.
Thanks all.

On official Reddit Mobile App: Click on “Learn More About This Community.”
There seems to be a downward spiral in posted content recently, and the mod team has been doing what it can to filter it out. But the team isn't able to moderate every post as they happen.
A couple tips:
Read the sidebar. It has posting guidelines, it has starter car recommendations, it has the DRIFT BIBLE for beginners on techniques. Outside of actually getting seat time, the side bar should provide you with a very healthy amount of information. Anything else, just research it... That's part of the fun of learning a new skill or sport.
"Don't be an ask-hole." This is not Quora for drifting, its a subreddit to share cool stuff. Not to spoon feed every person who is moderately interested.
Lets keep this subreddit with positive content that supports each other. It can be frustrating for a content creator when when they see a snow donuts video get 500 upvotes, but someone can post a very legitimate edited and high quality video and they only get 4-5 upvotes.
edit: changed grammar to be less personable

I currently am rocking an FDF mega mantis kit on my G35, but recently acquired a Gen1 wisefab kit. I have 0 problems with the FDF, but all my homies swear my Wisefab. The kit has been fixed 2 times on the passenger knuckle, but still works. Has anyone tried out both and have recommendations of which one to use and which to sell? TIA!

Currently drive a ‘15 GT86 which I don’t want to drift as it’s high mileage and my only car.
Want to buy an older E46 (Ci model, M54) to turn into a drift car but there are some barriers…!
I have the money, but what I don’t have is time or experience. The experience part I don’t think is a huge issue for this platform when it comes to mods because there are tons of forum posts and tutorial vids, BUT when it would come to do repairs I’d probably find that quite a bit harder.
The car would be kept at my parents’ house as that’s the only place I can work on it. I don’t live there and I’d have to travel 2 hours by train every weekend to work on it.
Am I worrying about nothing? I’d do at most 4 or 5 drift days a year + some occasional street stuff (if I grow some balls) so will these M54s/general beemer shit go so wrong to the point the car becomes undriveable? At some point yes, but I just worry about not getting a lot of time out the car and as mentioned won’t really have time or experience to repair if anything goes wrong.
Is the best idea at this point just to continue renting indefinitely? The cost just kills me and turns me off a lot of events, not even considering the freedom of being able to take your own car AND getting more seat time (usually an entire day vs an hour in a rental).

Ive been dialing in my 350z's suspension to try to get good tire wear but keep wearing both the inside and outside shoulders. Current setup BC racing DS coils, 5k rear springs, 0.1 degrees of toe in, +0.7 camber and softest setting on the rear bar. My choice of tire is a 265/35/18 accelera 351 sport at around 18-20 psi cold and making 305whp. I was thinking I might have too much positive camber but I'm still getting down to the wire on the inner shoulder with plenty of meat left on the center. In the picture the top of the tire is the outer shoulder and bottom is inner shoulder. Any tips?

Hey,
I own a zd8 BRZ and an ae86 (I have only had the ae86 for a week)
I want to attend a learn to drift day that is 5 hours from where I live.
I was wondering if you would recommend me just driving my BRZ with spare wheels, tools and a jack in the back and booking a motel.
This would make way more sense logistics wise.
My ae86 has 4.77 diff gears and I don't fancy driving it 5 hours.
Do you think I should drift drive my zd8. It has coil overs and LCA's aswell as a stiffer rear seaybar

Hi,
looking at this video, how hard is the first drift to execute? On a very powerful electric car I mean. (I am not a drifter by any means)
Thanks guys!

I have a inline hydro brake with 0.625 cylinder size
Ebrake is stiff but does not lock the wheels only slow the car.
Tried bleeding the system numerous of times with different bleeding techniques.
I have replaced the ebrake cylinder and brake pads and still the problem persists.
What should I try before replacing the brake calipers? Thanks

So I'm looking at angle kits for my 2023 BRZ. GKtech sells a v3 angle kit for 1st and 2nd Gen 86/BRZ. But after doing a bit of research I don't think the angle kit works 100% with the 2nd gen BRZ. Specifically because the 2nd Gen BRZ uses aluminum knuckles whereas the GR86 uses iron.
So I'm wondering if there's a better kit or can I just swap out the knuckles. If anyone who slides a 2nd Gen BRZ can answer I'd appreciate it. Also while I'm here I'm curious if y'all run oil coolers?

I've always enjoyed watching drifting but never really considered trying it, fearing of crashing my car or embarrassing myself in front of a crowd. But my friends and I thought it'd be fun to rent a local drift course for ourselves and I decided to give it a shot. I ended up having too much fun and spent literally hours putting in laps.
