Daily Sticky Fat Rant Tuesday
Fatlogic in real life getting you down?
Is your family telling you you're looking too thin?
Are people at work bringing you donuts?
Did your beer drinking neighbor pat his belly and tell you "It's all muscle?"
If you hear one more thing about starvation mode will you scream?
Let it all out. We understand.

Ah yes, because you can totally be obese off of not enough calories. Makes complete sense

Who’s saying people are “depriving” themselves of the things they want if they’re not fat?
As a person who is psychically fit and a healthy weight. I can do all the things I want to do and I’m not hindered by the size of my body and I don’t get out of breath easily.
And my “diet” is eating the things that fit in to a healthy lifestyle on a daily basis and every now and then I can enjoy a snack or eat out. But the standard is eating home cooked meals that I sometimes prepare in advance for the moments that I work late.

Don’t you dare suggest that you want to work on yourself. You’re only doing it for social approval!

Former fats are mean, unlike FAs, who are delightful.

Any excuse for being fat other than too much food…

A handbook for unapologetic living. I wonder what that is about…

I feel like people treat healthcare professionals as magical beings that could fix any illness if they tried hard enough. Increase of risk of surgical complications and anesthesia being less effective on fat people is not the same as a surgeon being unskilled

“Pro-fat” IS anti-health. Always.
Same artist as the “weight is not an indicator of health” drawing posted in here a few days ago. Now, the post didn’t clarify what they mean exactly by “pro-fat”, whether that’s encouraging fat people to stay fat, people to get fat/fatter, or somewhere in between, but any promotion or glorification of fatness is so obviously anti-health, and wrapping it up in cutesy artsy messaging doesn’t make it any less harmful.

Same people who complain about their size not being in stores.

Interesting comparison.. In Dutch we have a saying: who burns their butt, has to sit on the blisters. It’s about accountability and dealing with the consequences of your own actions.

Losing weight is never the solution to better your health! Oh, and this person also has a skinny friend who eats like shit all the time.

Dolly’s body is barely even cold, but of course the FAs use her death as an excuse to complain about something
(RIP Dolly Parton, though, what an absolute icon)

"Fat cells are immortal, so it's impossible to lose weight"
Thank you, TikTok for my daily dose of fat logic in the wild. Apparently, fat cells don't die, so OF COURSE it's nobody's fault that they regain weight. It's inevitable!
For a bit of reality, please note that fat cells do, in fact, die. They just take a little longer to do so than some of our other cells. But that doesn't fit the fatlogic narrative!
