SPOILERS for those who haven't played the game in its entirety. Starting my annual playthrough of the game (completed dozens of times - love it), and don't know how these questions never came up for me before.

When we reach Zanarkand, and there's the room leading up to Yunalesca we see an empty chamber. Has it always been a husk and where is his soul? Why can't the other aeons from previous temples be used as a final aeon like Zaon was?

Bonus Question: How were Seymour and his mother aware of the repercussions for going to Zanarkand?

Bonus Bonus Question: How was the twist of the final aeon kept such a secret for a thousand years? If it were me, I'd be telling everyone from Mt Gaga to the Calm Lands.

Honestly i was shocked i was expecting it to look ridiculous but it was kinda ok? this is using the default preset and i havent tweaked the parameters which can probably improve it more.

On a typical playthrough when does the Almighty Auron learn threaten? Like around what area?

As the title says, really. I was enticed by the UnX project, mainly for the features that made the grind a little more bearable but playing on the Steam Deck was not fun. I could not get the game to run 4 out of 5 times and when it did, it wouldn't be long before it crashed out. Then it just wouldn't run at all unless I rebooted the whole Deck. I tried a bunch of troubleshooting but it just didn't work for me.

So I turned to Claude, asked it to take a look at the UnX code and figure out if a linux port was possible, explicitly with party AP and always-on sensor in mind. Claude said it was a simple task, so away it went, I had a few hurdles to jump over figuring out how to get it running but got there in the end.

Anyway, the result is better than I expected. I'm enjoying this game again now, it's taken that edge off the grind. I didn't want to go as far as supercharging or maxing stats automatically so this sits in a nice spot.

However the source code is there so you can check it and compile your own.

Yesterday mentioned my Tidus issue well it gets worse. Kimahri can’t move until I get a 2nd level key either. Also pretty much stuck in that middle area. He started on a key node and I guess you can’t just move him off it.

Been grinding out these mini games for the celestial weapons lately, and finally tackled this one. Took me a good while because of the timing but with the crater cheese I was able to pull it off, even if it was pretty stressful towards the end. Now I just have to complete the butterfly hunt mini game and I'll be completely set

Replaying this for the millionth time cause FFX is timeless,but if i recall this is probably the only time they mention his name in game..shelinda calls you “sir guardian” but other than that i cant think of others. Unless there are other instances.

What you guys think are the most useless or weak spells/skills/specials/abilities in the game for the player?

I think I'm about 13 hours in and I'm now realizing some poor decisions in the sphere grid and some missed items.

I'm just at the end of the 'home' section going to walk up to Seymour and his flame guards are rolling me.

Would it be worth toughing it out at this point of the game or should I start over with a guide get all the good stuff level up properly and pick up where I left off or have I made it far enough to write it up to the end and worry about being more perfect my next playthrough?

Title. I'm about to try and go for Wakka's overdrives, Legendary weapon and Sigil. What's the best team to make that happen in the shortest amount of time?

I played it on PS2 then PS4 PS Vita and finally the Switch OLED and Switch 2.
I don't have the Vita anymore but I think it remains my favorite platform.

Attack reels is so much better than all of Wakka’s overdrives to such an absurd margin that you’ll never use the other overdrives.

Screw element and status reels since they can be added to the weapon, screw the final overdrive Aurochs reels when Attack reels do so much more damage.
